I was referred to them by Fleetwood doors because they are one of two companies that service in the Los Angeles area. We started our initial on site appointment initially in Fall 2019 and finally got around to finalizing the repair in March 2020 to replace a door handle. Because of the world's circumstances I gave them a lot of room from then until Fall 2020 to not get back to me etc, and with enough calls and emails and pressure, I finally got an appointment. The actual day of the repairs , the tehcnician skipped some steps and broke the part that I had received for free from Fleetwood. Their main guy- Art- arrived after the fact to salvage what he could- and as a result they did a patchwork repair. It's unfortunate that they didn't send their top guy out to start the job because it was after the top guy got there that he realized they had broken the part that we needed and they still charged the total price, no discount for the part they broke. I tried getting them out again to fix the "temp" job but no response at all. Lesson learned-I should have gone with the other company! read more

We've been waiting for over 2 weeks for a quote on a shower glass panel. I have called 6 times and spoken to someone twice, both times stating they would get back to me. This is a family business. The owner is genuine and kind which is truly rare. He is most of all HONEST and helps with issues that are not in his scope of work. He has worked on our class A commercial building in Santa Monica and we get daily compliments of our beautiful building. I'm sure Tri City Glass does a great job. If they do come out to do it. But sadly at this company the right hand does not know what the left is doing and vice versa. I saw the overall great reviews here on Yelp, so Tri City was one of the 3 companies I called to get an estimate for a broken dual-paned window. I spoke with Patty, who scheduled the first appointment -- that they ended up cancelling. Sure thing, it happens. I spoke with Patty again. We set up a new appointment time. They called back to confirm, I spoke with Patty for the third time and reassured her that yes, I'll be at home. The day before someone calls again to re-confirm. Ok... A bit excessive, but better to be safe than sorry. The day of the appointment arrives. Tri City Glass was supposed to arrive between the hours of 1-2pm. I get a call from Patty at 1.15pm asking: "Do you still want that estimate?!" HUH?! You were supposed to be here right around now... I arranged my whole day accordingly and -- after reconfirming it TWICE -- during the appointment time you ask me if I still want the estimate?! Confusing to say the least... After some umming and ahing Patty says "Let me see what time I can get the guys to come out there..." For which I let her know that at this stage my level of trust in Tri City actually showing up is miniscule. Her reply was: "So would you like to cancel and reschedule?" My wife and I recently had our windows upgraded to Milgard Tuscany windows and patio doors. Since we live in a place governed by an HOA, we were kind of at the mercy of whatever company was being used by the HOA. Thank goodness that the HOA did its homework and selected Tri-City Glass to work with our association! It was a great choice! Gary (I think he is the the President of the company) reached out to me a few days after I asked for details about pricing, etc. He gave me an estimate by week one and then we moved forward to schedule the measuring. The technician who completed the measuring arrived on time and was very efficient. After two weeks, Patty reached out to me to schedule the installation. The installation took about a day-and-a-half, but the bulk of the work was done on day one. The windows have made such a tremendous difference to our new home! Had my windshield replaced - and these guys did a great job. They tracked down the last 'bronze tint' windshield for my car that I'm restoring and ordered it - took a week to come across country and they showed up the day they said they would. The price for the windshield was 100$ less then two other places, for the exact same piece of glass (last one in country for this model car from what I'm aware of) Miguel and Raymond spent several hours meticulously removing and cleaning out the old windshield - and installing it went smoothly. I'd love to give this place a glowing review as they came highly recommended by a contractor, but i cant. I cant get them to keep an appointment. I've made 3 to have some doors serviced. The first they called 30 min prior and told me they couldnt make it because they were stuck on another job. I rescheduled for the next day and they no showed. i called, and they were meant to come out the following week, again no show. I understand i just need servicing and am not buying doors or windows but still, keep an appointment. Ive called 2x since the last no show, and no one has called me back. I'll update if they every come and do the work, at which point im sure it will be great. read more

Tri City installed 18 living room windows and the windows starting bleeding white sealer at the edges within months. After 3 years of trying to get them fixed, there has been no response from Tri-City Glass either from phone calls or emails. When I call and leave my name no one ever calls back, and if I get a promise for an estimator to come out, no one calls back or comes. Now 18 expensive windows in the large centerpiece corner of the living room look cheap and are unsightly. The window mfg rep came to look at them and said the sealant used by TriCity was either the wrong or poor quality sealant. Never use them. read more

I had a bird fly into one of our exterior windows (tempered glass) and shatter the glass. We live in a condo on the 3rd floor. It was an exterior mount & I'll be the 1st to admit, was not an easy job. I called several shops in my local area. All of the other shops I called were hard to get an appointment, have my calls returned, get a quote, or even want to tackle the job. I had a friend who's in the glass biz refer Tri City Glass. From the 1st phone call, I was impressed. Sandy & Patty were great to deal with. They had Richard come over and assess the job and take some measurements. He said replacing the window was not a problem since their shop handles just about any job (big or small) that involves glass. The guys came over & were great. They were extremely competent & did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. The price for the job was extremely fair for the extra effort involved. My dad was in the glass biz his entire life and I worked with him as a kid. Don't waste your time calling any other shop...call Tri City Glass and get the job done right at a fair price. read more
