If you mess up and make your client bleed... DON'T DO IT AGAIN... and say, "you have thin skin" wtf. Own your mistake and don't expect a generous tip. 2. Pay attention to your work and make adjustments NOT excuses like, " oh, it must be the polish..." 3. What should have taken an hour at most, ended up taking 2 hours cuz they had to take off the polish (at my request), and clean up my nail again. **Thanks to Dana for staying after hours to "fix it" 4. I asked for a clean/bare nail and they used a clear shellac polish and actually had the balls to charge me for it..."here's 10% off for your first time", yeah no thanks! 5. Maybe my experience was just a rare occurrence. But I had high hopes. First of all, one of the gals working did not wear her mask when the salon first opened. Maybe 15 minutes later she decided it was time to place one. I was already sitting at a chair soaking my toes. They were all SO nice but I can't overlook the other missteps I experienced at Tri Organic. Prior to arrival I booked online as it seemingly was required to book an appointment. Then several others arrived at the same time. It seemed like there were more clients than 25% capacity. The amount of people in the salon felt like pre-covid era. From what I'm reading in the last reviews - it looks like this isn't the first time they've done this. My pedicure had a chip before I even left the building but since there were so many clients I felt like I couldn't ask for a re-application. Also my SNS manicure was not applied all the way up to the cuticle so it looked like my nails were already growing longer... Not the most ideal when I'm paying nearly 70 dollars for everything. Also they said no design? I looked at a review that said they do designs??? I was willing to pay for it too. It just seemed like they overwhelmed themselves by booking more people than they should've and I got sub-par quality of the services requested. Manicure: We did our nails here w/ the acrylic option and not the shellac - I recommend the shellac because the acrylic didn't stay on for long on your nails. The nail color didn't last long even after the drying AND them putting on the plastic wrap (on your toes) for you when you leave which I don't really like (hence I docked off 1 star). Pedicure: I came here with the boyfriend and they did an amazing job massaging your legs before doing the nails. You even have a chair with the massage machine on so I recommend coming here to do that as it's quite relaxing. The service is great - the employees here are really friendly and nice! Cute little spot tucked away in capital hill on 12th ave! Amazing experience at Triorganic spa today. I got a gel fill with TAP gel which was new to me and a Brazilian wax. TAP gel is a type of gel hybrid, and the consistency is like toothpaste which they smooth and contour to your nail with an alcohol like solution (I think?), and then buff and put a top coat on after. It cuts down on the time with multiple coats in a regular gel manicure. Both the manicurist and esthetician were great, and super sweet! I especially appreciated the convo with the esthetician considering it was a Brazilian and distraction is definitely appreciated. They even offer 10% off for happy hour from 10a-2pm. Had an amazing facial here today. It was my first time coming in and made an appointment for a facial and pedicure... after a 35 hour week of waiting tables in the Market, this girl needed some self care! I chose my color and sat down... the chairs are wonderful here! I did request a deluxe pedicure, but the woman may not have known and it was a simple, short calf rub pedicure. The original lady who was doing my toes did a good job on the shaping and was very attentive to the cutting on my toes, but I didn't get that pampered feel through the very short massage and I didn't get a mask or cooling gel... and not the paraffin wax. The girl who took over did amazing on the polish and then got me ready for my facial, which she did as well. The facial was very relaxing and soooo needed. I splurged on the 45 minute one and was not disappointed by any means! The massage, the ambiance and the experience was wonderful. My face is literally glowing, my skin is very happy. She even put on relaxing music on her phone and gave me a shoulder, hand and scalp massage. It truly felt like a spa experience and made me feel truly pampered after that. I will definitely come back in for a gel manicure soon... and try the deluxe pedicure again.... I should have been more clear with my pedicurist about what I was getting so maybe next time I'll remember that. Still deserves 5 stars. Nancy is just the sweetest lady and she had incredible attention to detail. I have never been disappointed, they are simply the best! I got the one hour facial with exfoliation, massage and mask under led light. The actual facial lasted 2 hours and my face feels great. All my blackheads are gone and my face is glowing. This is a pet peeve of mine: why take reservations if no one keeps track of them? This place was super professional and great. They handled a series of appointments so well. There was just a constant stream of people coming in. My friends and I each tried a regular, shellac, and dipping manicure. The pedicure were great. Everything felt super nice and luxurious. I wish I got a little bit more of a massage but honestly the massage chair was great too. I also am pretty ocd about specific curves of the nails and the length and she was very receptive to my corrections. We had a bit of a snafu with some air bubbles on the manicure polish. I think it was box she did one coat after the other on one hand rather than do one coat on both hands and then going back for the second coat. Generally air bubbles show when coats are done too close together. But like I said, she fixed it. The price was also pretty reasonable and again, would love to come back! read more

I recently moved to Seattle and have been looking for my new go-to nail salon. I liked the story behind the salon and the fact they use some organic products, so I decided to try it out. It was less than a 10 minute walk from my apartment which is very convenient. I was helped right away and Nancy did my fill. She was very nice and did a great job shortening and shaping my nails. She checked my nails several times to ensure both hands were the same length and shape, which I really appreciate because a lot of people don't do that and you end up with different length nails. She was thorough and took her time. I am happy with the end result. I don't remember the name of the girl who did my pedicure but she was super sweet and gave the best massage, which was longer than I anticipated which was amazing. She was also very thorough and made sure I was happy with the massage chair and offered water. I also had my eyebrows done by the owner, who was also nice. I don't let many people touch my eyebrows but she did a great job and cleaned them up how I wanted. They opened an hour early because they were booked solid (New Year's Eve is tomorrow) so I could come in early, thanked me so much for taking the time when they were the ones who went out of the way to open the salon early.
