I recently replaced 11 of my windows with the Tri- State Window Factory 4100 series windows for our home. In general, I don't enjoy dealing with Sales Reps. They all tell you why their product is the best and lowest cost product on the market ANYWHERE! Phase 1 My wife shopped around to get comparison types of windows and associated costs. Together we went through the different catalogs and costs. She the retired school teacher and cost guru, and me the retired Engineer carefully evaluated all the info and selected materials. We visited several competitor's showrooms and the first thing that I liked here was the "dreaded" sales rep. His name was Andrew and he was thoroughly familiar with his product line and I could not stump him on any question related to the materials used, welding techniques, construction methods, appearance, etc. My wife wanted to know why the retired Engineer couldn't get him to screw up any answers to my questions. in addition, he had a great personality and was not "pushy" as some other sales personnel. We went home and discussed what we had learned and decided to use Tri- State because of what Andrew had told us and we were convinced that his cost was better than comparable prices on similar windows. We also looked at some of their recently installed windows that were the same as what we had selected. Phase 2 All our windows were carefully measured, and we made decisions on type of window double hung or sliders. Phase 3 The next dreaded day was installation day. I thought about what would they would break carrying ladders, windows, tools, etc.? What about the mess they would make? What about dealing with the installers? Phase 4 The installers were great! Crew Chief Jose was fantastic. All my questions and concerns were answered and if changes were required, they were made immediately. The job came out perfect. No debris left, all areas inside and outside were vacuumed. I did nothing all day but watch the work being done and I was both satisfied and exhausted. Their crew left, and I had nothing to worry about after all. I jumped into bed with a smile on my face. My wife passed away last year, and I only wish she could have seen her beautiful new windows. read more

I left a 5-star two years ago after Tri-State completed the installation of a replacement bow window in the front of my house. Here it is two years later and I decided it was time to replace the bay window in the back of my house and my sliding door to the deck. Without hesitation I drove to their show room to see about the project. I was immediately recognized by Andreas, even though it had been two years. I told him about the work and he came to my place a few days later and we signed the paperwork. Everything was installed perfectly and they did a fantastic job. The new window and sliding door are just amazing. They did such a great job again that I just went back to their showroom and am having the rest of my windows replaced by Tri-State. The quality of their work, their superior product, their integrity and honesty is second to none. You are always treated right by them. I still remember the prices other companies told me two years ago just to handle my bow window. It is sickening. One of those companies recently approached me and tried to stir up business. They told me they are a new company and that they have become more competitive. I told them that is great, but there is absolute nothing they can do to earn my business. I found a wonderful company that treated me right the minute I walked in the door. Andreas and Tri-State are replacing every window in my home (and adding one) for less money than these other companies wanted to charge for one project. I actually need more stars for this rating. For years I have wanted to replace the windows in our Ranch-style home. After we had a fire in our home it seemed to be a good time to finally get it done. I'd done a lot of pricing and research and had Tri State come highly recommended to us from three unrelated sources. The salesman came to our home quickly and showed us all the differences in the way Tri State manufactures their windows as compared to other window companies. The quality, materials and security features are so superior to that of most well-known window brands that we enthusiastically went with Tri State. We even got two year interest free financing, which was a great plus! I can't extoll the virtues of the group of guys on the installation team enough. They were beyond amazing. They worked like a well-oiled machine, were extremely respectful of our home and our pets (we have a pet pig - so sharp bits of wood or nails/screws etc., could NOT be left behind for him to impale his hooves on). They install guys knew that, respected it and even after ripping out and replacing 20 windows and a sliding glass door, there was not one scrap of paint/wood/nails/screws left outside the perimeter of our home (and believe me, I've been looking diligently). When they were done they even came back in and rehung my shades for me before leaving. Our entire home was transformed in a matter of five hours, there's more light, better insulation and I couldn't be more pleased! read more

Murry S Woodmere, NY Second Time around for me, with Tri-State Window Factory & WOW!!! I bought windows from Tri-State 18 years ago, while living in Oceanside. Never had a complaint with the windows, except for wind damage to the capping around the window, as a result of a Nor-Easter Storm. Thought I was gonna have a service charge! Nope!!!! 8 months ago, I bought a house in Woodmere, (32 windows) near the water and it's extremely windy. The home I bought had relatively new (3 years old) vinyl windows. It was the May-June rainy season and noticed the curtains & blinds swaying. I could imagine the winter would be a real treat!!! I've noticed Tri-State's ads in the paper, introducing Series 5400 Triple pane windows and thought I would get an estimate on a product that could solve my problem of drafty windows! PS: What a window & the installation was a dream!!!! My wife even commented, as to how neat the installers were and how pretty the house looked from the outside, with new windows and capping! I love my Triple pane windows!! The are no more air leaks, the room seems cooler by 15 degrees, (direct afternoon sun) and I can't hear the birds or my central air units! I know the winter will be toasty, windows have a U-Factor of .18!!! One more feature I must mention is the Auto Locks!!!! Tri State Window Factory is superior to the rest. The installers just left my home and I couldn't wait to write a review ~ From our first meeting with Andreas, his knowledge of their superior product and calming personality was their first star. The gentleman that came to measure, on time just like Andreas, was very professional...he advised us he would put in our order with our measurements and we should hear from them with an install date very soon.....second star. A few days later we received a call with an install date....third star. Our installers showed up on time and BEYOND professional, fourth star! I am a clean freak and the two gentleman wore surgeon socks over their shoes while in our home. They put plastic on every floor surface they would be walking on, and secured it with painters tape. We had a 91/2 foot bay window being installed, in 30' weather, and they kept us as warm as they could by draping more plastic from the ceiling. Their attention to detail is so appreciated. When they were finished with our five window install they cleaned everything and you would never know they were even here.....except for the absolutely stunning windows that improved the look of our home! When my two storm doors that were installed 7 years ago needed new vinyl sweeps, I contacted Tri-State to see if I could buy replacements from them. I explained that I did not need a service call, just the sweeps since they are easy to install. I was told to go to the Deer Part factory office with the door expanders, and they could do it for me at no charge since Tri-State sold and installed the doors. When I spoke to the receptionist at the factory office, she told me that the person I spoke to was mistaken. She then told me that they did not stock replacement parts because they did not manufacture the doors, they could order them for me, but there would be a charge and it would take a few weeks. Fortunately for me, she mentioned the name of the door manufacturer when speaking to someone from the service department. I told her to forget it, found ProVia's website and sent an email explaining my problem. To my amazement, I quickly received a reply from customer service asking for my mailing address so they could send me replacement sweeps for both doors at no charge. Within a few days, I had received the replacements and installed them on the doors. ProVia is obviously a company that takes pride in it's products, and has a customer service department that goes above and beyond to help a customer. Sadly, I cannot say the same for Tri-State Window Factory. read more

I highly recommend Tri-State Window Factory! We had all our new windows, siding and roof installed by Tri-State Window Factory in 2010. After 5 estimates which included Tri-State Window Factory in Deer Park, NY, we felt very confident of their products and ability to guarantee them should any service be needed as all of their windows are manufactured in house. It has been 3 years and 2 Hurricanes (Irene and Sandy ) and a very cold harsh 2013-2014 Long Island winter and all of our windows, siding and roof show no signs of wear. Also, our energy savings have been significant. This is truly a testament to the their superior products and expert installation. Tri-State Window Factory is family owned and operated. Andreas Kypreos and his father John and brother-in-law Andrew, all made us feel at home and very comfortable. We never felt the pressure of a hard sell. Christopher M. who was the foreman on the siding install was always there to overlook the installation and answer questions or issues that arouse. He is quite the craftsman! Furthermore, several homes in and out our neighborhood had work performed by Tri-State Window Factory as of a result of the stupendous job performed on our house. Do it once, do it right! The whole process from start to finish was outstanding. I live in western Nassau County but traveled to Deer Park because I needed 12 new windows for my upstairs and knew of Tri-State's excellent reputation and quality. I went to the Deer Park showroom and within 1 minute of arriving, I was greeted by a smile and friendly person named Ken. After explaining my need, I was shown the window choices and given a detailed explanation of the manufacturing process and the various features and lastly a demonstration. After negotiating a good price, I signed the contract and within 2 weeks my windows were measured and installed. The installers were terrific as well, neat, organized, efficient, and very skilled as I had some challenging areas to install windows. The windows are airtight and virtually soundproof compared to my old ones. I highly recommend them and am looking into getting a new roof with TriState. read more

My wife and I saw Renewal by Andersen at the Home Show in Commack. We signed up for an estimate. The salesman came to our home and showed us his traveling window show and was very informative. Very nice guy. Yeah, Fibrex (vinyl mixed with sawdust). You must understand, this is NOT Andersen windows, which is a fine product. Fortunately, I had read reviews on Yelp before he showed up. My wife had not. He gave us a price and then told us we had a quick offer discount but it was only available RIGHT NOW! Four double hung replacement windows----after discount---- $13,000! My wife just about passed out. Needless to say, we said thanks, but--no thanks. A friend of ours gave us a word of mouth recommendation, so we took a drive to TriState windows in Deer Park. Result--4 TRIPLE GLAZED--replacement widows and a new window (not a replacement) expertly installed for less than $4,000. TRISTATE IS THE WAY TO GO! read more

I don't normally write reviews, but the team at Tri-State Window Factory just did yet another fabulous install at our home (new storm door and window) and I had to share. They're meticulous throughout the whole process, from sales to measuring to installation, we have always had a pleasant experience with each team. We have done all our windows now at this point and a few doors too. Love it when friends and family comment on how nice they look and how well they're built. Had a quote from another window company and nearly made a huge mistake. The windows they were going to sell me were "contractor grade" cheap windows. Called Tri State windows based on their reviews and warranty. Their salesman came in and told us all about their windows. Every last detail. The other company didn't tell us anything. Very happy I was able to cancel the first windows in time and go with Tri State. Their price was cheaper than the other company for higher quality windows, to make it even better they called me the day after measuring and said they had a cancellation, asked if I wanted to do the install the next day, so my windows were installed not even 2 weeks after the sales representative was sitting with us. We started with Ken, our terrific salesperson. During the project I called and emailed him numerous times with questions and requests and I had return calls and responses before the end of the day, without exception. The installation crew was professional, pleasant to work with, efficient, and eager to please. This is the third time I have used Tri-State window factory! I could not be happier. Andreus my salesman was great to us again. In my opinion these windows are far superior to the Anderson windows I have used in the past. The entire process was painless from dealing with Andreus (our salesman), the guy that came to measure and the install team. The installers did a fantastic job installing my windows and cleaned up spotless when the were done. There is not one thing I can complain about. The Tri-State windows I had installed last year were incredible over the winter, no drafts or cold air coming in anywhere and on the coldest day the glass on the inside was just about room temperature! I had one window installed by Tri-State and I would recommend them to anyone. I need all my windows replaced but finances only allowed me to do one right now. I walked in and at no time felt pressured to do more. That in and of itself is commendable. The window is fantastic, opens and closes with ease and has the automatic locks which was important for my daughters room. I had an installer named Vinny come to my home to install and was so impressed with him as a person. He installed the window beautifully and even showed me how to put an air conditioner in it for the summer. My front door was broken and he told me what to go and purchase to fix it. I will be replacing all my windows over time with TriState.....fantastic windows with fantastic people working for them!!! read more

From ordering to installation only take 2 weeks and as promise for Saturday installation, Price is reasonable and great workmanship from removing old windows, installing and cleanup, All 5 crew members need to be recognized their great work (Jose, Luis, Fernando, Leone and Rene) It been three week since installation completed, during this time it have been rain, snow falling and 30-40 mph wind gust, all windows have no sign of leak and wind draft, in fact the windows so good it make my room temperature 3-5 degree better compare to my old windows. Only one minor issues is the insulation caulking they put it between the window and the window stopper are not paint friendly, it was difficulty to paint on. Aside from judging the quality and design of various window vendors, we wanted the scheduling and installation to be coordinated by the vendor with minimal drain on building management and maintenance personnel. My husband and I moved into our house a year ago and were left with the original windows. After knowing my mother had used Tristate in the past numerous times, I decided to sit with Marc and we reviewed the window options. We have dealt with TriState many times over the years, and have never been disappointed. This time, it was to replace our front and storm doors. Our salesman, Andrew, showed us many different options. He answered all our questions, but let us make our own final choices. He sent an expert fitter to mark our dimensions, then selected a terrific team, led by Carlos, to detach the old door and install the new one. They did a great job and were clean and respectful of the home. One of the best things about TriState is that it always stands by its products.
