On a recent Saturday morning, we decided to give the Triangle Diner a try for breakfast. We found a parking spot but were told that there was a 30 minute wait. We decided to stay and wait and are extremely glad that we did! I originally was hoping to get a Turkey club sandwich but on the weekends, they only serve breakfast. I was still in luck as I ordered a breakfast club sandwich which came with potatoes. Gotta have my pancakes so I ordered two. Everything was beyond delicious and the portions were humungous. I can't even remember when I needed a take out box at breakfast? My companion had an Eggs Benedict platter of which I forgot to take a photo. The staff is very friendly and well organized especially with those who are waiting patiently! We now started a new tradition of having breakfast here, each time that we visit Saratoga NY! read more

Fantastic experience! Easily one of the best breakfast places in the area. The prices are extremely reasonable considering how much food you get. The place is clean, the staff is attentive and friendly and the food is so delicious. Everything came out quickly and the waitresses were on top of refilling our coffee and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The pancake was deliciously spongy and it was humungous! This is a small but mighty local diner. It's always busy, but definitely worth the wait. Their menu is updated daily with specials and it's hard to choose what to order, but you can't go wrong with any breakfast item. Their pancakes are huge. One is easily enough to share between two people, but has great fluff, crisp and flavor. Their corn beef hash is one of the top I've had and worth ordering if you haven't tried it. This diner has stood the test of time and will continue to be one of my favorite local places when I come back home to visit. read more

I was in town for a quick visit after almost 10 years, and I knew I had to go to triangle for their eggs Benedict. After all this time, I am SO happy to say that it is just as good as it was back then! Nothing has changed (other than some covid dividers), and the staff are still just as friendly as ever. The coffee is delicious and the bacon was crispy. I am so relieved that all is just as wonderful as it was back then! Thanks for the great time! read more

So, three days after I left the 5-star review below, I went back. First time, I had the Irish Benny at my server, "Star's" recommendation. This time, I had to try one of the daily omelet specials. I asked Star if it was available. Although no longer that day's special, she asked if they could make it. The kitchen did, and it was an amalgam of deliciousness! Plus, they substituted a warm chocolate chip muffin for the slice of apple pie (slight upcharge). Talking w Star (in between bites), I learned that the daily special omelet changes daily (duh, as I point to my forehead and say, "part's on order"). One of her faves is sausage, walnuts, goat cheese, and spinach. Star also mentioned they do amazing things w Brussels sprouts and beets in an omelet. No pics this time. I ordered a fried chicken covered in sausage gravy w/ homefries and toast off the specials IT WAS A LOUSY FROZEN "BANQUET BRAND" type of chicken patty. one of those weird compressed chicken patties, not even breast mean. Small local diner that is absolutely delicious! I've driven past this diner so many times and while it's unassuming on the outside, it's so worth getting a sit down meal here! Definitely a true diner and not one of those chain diners. Theres a great menu with lots of fun options. The eggs florentine was delicious and their hash browns and home fries were so yummy. Revisited this old favorite breakfast spot after moving out of NY over five years ago. Triangle Diner is just one of those small town staple community breakfast spots. The Southern Fried Chicken Benny has always been my favorite local breakfast. The chipotle hollandaise sauce is absolute fire!!! If you like Benedict breakfasts, this is a MUST HAVE. We ordered a single pancake for our daughter and they brought it out looking like Rudolph which she adored. The quality and service here are top notch. After five years this place is everything that I remember. Amazing staff, fast and attentive service, and delicious food. Food was very good Loved the all the choices. Atmosphere was nice small town feel. Parking limited. Our waitress was not the friendliest a bit of an attitude with us. I think she was not happy we wanted to wait for a table. The person that greeted us at the door was friendly and told us we could wait about 10 min and we agreed. We thought she said wait at the counter but the waitress wasn't happy about that and made it clear . All the others we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. I tipped my waitress but gave the other waitress who we interacted with at the door, register and counter an additional tip. I told her I knew she wasn't my waitress but she was a pleasure to deal with and made the difference in our experience. If my review was based off our waitress it would not have been good. We looked for a diner to get breakfast on our way to Danbury, CT. This place with hundres of reviews and a 4.4/5 score looked like a winner. We get there and the parking lot is packed, so is the restaurant. Promising. Well were wrong, we were so wrong. They got the eggs right, but the hashbrown was dry as hay, the cornbeef hash tasted like... well I can't think of a comparaison but it was not good. The toast was dry, thin, barely buttered and tasted mostly like carton. The OJ tasted like is was made of pureed orange peels. Also I'm a big guy but even for waffers, those restrooms were tight quarters. The restaurant also had an unsavory smell. The only saving grace was the service. This morning my husband and I went to the Triangle Diner before our trip home to Long Island NY. It was small from the outside but don't let the size of the place fool you they are Big on taste and food! Wow what a delicious breakfast we had. I had the Breakfast sandwich 3 eggs Canadian Ham sausage American chews on a hard roll OMG it was the Bomb! It was so good I wrote on the check that it was the best breakfast sandwich I ever had ! And I meant it! The portions were huge and so reasonably priced ! My husband had the eggs with kielbasa he said it was fantastic ! Loved this place! Small interior with maybe 8-10 booths and your typical diner atmosphere. Prices were beyond fair considering the surrounding toga restaurants. -Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich W/ Homefries: 5/5, completely surpassed my expectations. Sandwich was stacked with bacon and very filling. The homefries were cooked and seasoned perfectly and easily some of the best I've ever had. Our dining experiences here have ranged from mediocre to downright unpleasant. The menu is extensive and quirky, with some items seemingly included for the sake of being different rather than being well-thought-out (chocolate chip and pepper jack pancakes, anyone?). The food itself is typically under-seasoned and inconsistently cooked--either overdone or underdone, and prepared in oil that tastes like it's changed infrequently. While the hostess is always lovely, the service from our waiter has been consistently inattentive and rude. There's always a wait to be seated, and there's often a bottleneck at the entrance and exit. To be honest, there are far better diners in the area. This is such a solid diner. We got lucky on our visit and sauntered in and promptly sat at the briefly empty counter seats just before a rush of the hungry masses.
