I asked him to look for our receipt in his records. He admitted that they save all receipts, but said it was too much trouble to try to find it; but expected us to have the receipt. Only a 1 way policy. He also admitted that he was the one that sold us the bag For us, it was a buyer beware shop. As an example, they apparently charge different people different . When making the purchase we on the price least our loss was reduced a little. If you do decide to visit the store, it's a good idea to bargain with to save money. In a luxury resale business, every person who walks in should be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of whether they arrive dressed head to toe in designer labels. I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was a potential customer with legitimate high-end merchandise who wanted information about doing business with this store. Instead, I left feeling as though my questions were an inconvenience. Customer service matters, especially in a business built around people trusting you with expensive personal belongings. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from a luxury brand with Gucci's reputation and prices. It is incredible that a company of this caliber does not stand behind its customers or honor the commitments made by its employees. Frankly, I would expect better service. I got better service at a 99-cent store. Gucci should invest more of the money it charges customers into properly training its staff in professionalism, communication, and customer care.
