My sister got married here last weekend and it was an incredible experience. The space is very cool--spare and modern with a great view. She looked lovely coming down the big staircase. We got dressed in the photo studio, which was SUCH a fun space. The food was totally delicious and the staff was really, really helpful. Ryan was a great wedding coordinator and Martha made sure my sister was taken care of all day long. Everything from making sure my sister's make up was continually touched up to making sure she and the groom were able to taste every appetizer. We had our toddler with us and they even catered to his needs bringing him chicken strips and french fries in little metal baskets with an individual bottle of ketchup. It was too cold for us to really enjoy the outside space, but we had an amazing experience even without that addition. Definitely recommend. read more

Our wedding was held at Tribeca Rooftop, and the guests have been raving about it: the food (abundance & quality which is unique at large catered events), the ambiance (elegance, views), and the service were absolutely amazing. Oleg, the manager, did a remarkable job of taking care of every detail for us, keeing everyone on schedule, and checking in often with us to make sure everything was taken care of. Even before the wedding day, Oleg made a number of important suggestions and recommendations in terms of how to make our day extra special, and was working with us all along, including through the last minute changes. Just had my son's wedding there last weekend. The venue far exceeded my expectations in every way. Many guests stated it was the most elegant, best wedding they have ever been to! We could not have asked for a more PERFECT place for a wedding. The venue offered everything and all that we could have asked for. The staff was quite amazing from the very beginning...they even brought our guests glasses of ice water on the dance floor!!!!! They were able to meet our needs and so much more. The photography studio was perfect for hair and makeup prior to the wedding. We had photos taken on the street before coming inside as the photographer captured our children in the natural light that came through the enormous windows. Our planner, Chris Madden, (rsvpweddings and events by Chris Madden) worked with the Tribeca Rooftop staff to orchestrate the perfect balance of elegance and fun. Our daughter said that "no one had told her that being a bride was so much fun' From the minute we arrived at the Rooftop we felt that we were guests. Watching our child walk down the staircase in her bridal gown took our breath away. Our kids had a vision of how they saw their wedding day....I thank the people at Tribeca Rooftop and Chris Madden for making it all happen. Our kids are real "foodies" and hired an outside caterer, Michael Scott. The menu he created with our children and Chris Madden was spectacular!!!!! He limits himself to one event an evening and he was at our event making sure that EVERYTHING was PERFECT!!! Our guests were served hot toddys, sparkling water and champagne as they entered the building....the evening ended with homemade babka, chipwich sandwiches, hobo's, frozen hot chocolate, and more.... he created the perfect meal all night long.... Bob Foreman from the Original Faze 4 rocked all night long and Dorothy from Conucopia flowers transformed the space... Went to my niece's wedding there few days ago. Ceremony and cocktail hour were outside. Was nearly 90 so got quite warm but not horridly so. For the most part the food at the cocktail hour was very good. What someone told me were lamb sliders seemed to be veggie burgers as they were green in color. One bite and it wasn't worth finishing. Found the service and bar staff impeccable. Plates promptly cleared, glasses always filled, bar staff not looking for tips. Food at the reception was great. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked medium well just like I asked. Only downside was the reception area. This was obviously an industrial building in a past life. Pipes and electrical conduit running all over the ceiling, chandeliers looking as they had been in the clearance section of Home Depot but they fit in well with the look. Room was painted stark white and it was spotless. Worst part was because there's no sound deadening the acoustics were terrible and I thought that sound just kept bouncing off the walls. Last but not least...on the invitation I got there was no mention of valet parking but they do have it although even people who work there don't seem to know about it. I had called them to ask about parking, if there was a lot nearby (there's one next door but the cars are parked on the street) or if they validate and the gal who answered the phone didn't know so she connected me to the catering manager who revealed that indeed they do have valet parking. I'm sure this wasn't an inexpensive affair probably running into six figures (ten piece band with a great horn section) and I guess you get what you pay for but I wouldn't hesitate to check this place out if you have the money. read more

I can honestly say our wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale and a day that our guests are still talking about. Had a wonderful time. Food was great. Small portions but its quality not quantity. The view is fantastic yet very relaxing. One of the best weddings I had been in a long time and I have been at many. The Band Play by Play was fantastic. Kept the room partying all night long. This is the second time I was at a wedding that they played. Great great music and alot of fun. The staff was very nice. They looked and acted very experienced. Very professional. I recommend this place for your wedding if you are thinking about having a great time. read more

We had our daughter's wedding here and it was fantastic! The staff were amazing, the food was delicious and everything worked out perfectly. The location is stunning and we were able to have the cocktail hour outside overlooking the Hudson. Our guests all loved it. We had no problem hearing the band and DJ or all fitting on the dance floor. Working with Tracy, Oleg and George was a wonderful experience. This may be a very outdated review, but a friend just attended a party there and I was reminded to write this....I got married here in Sept.2003. Tracy Sarn was our event planner-don't know if she is still there, but if she is- def. ask for her, she was fantastic the entire way through the planning and up to the day of the event. She hand held my parents and I through all the decision making and customization, and never pressured us into doing anything we weren't interested in- only offered advice and ideas. The day of taste-testing was unbelievable. We were served all the food, (caterer is Abigail Kirsch-top notch) and then the cakes. They made me 3 cakes of all the flavors I wanted to try, and I got to take them home. My parents and I, and my maid of honor left incredibly impressed. Day of wedding comes...The place looked stunning with all the candlelight and flowers, took my breath away how perfect it all was. We had an Indonesian gamalan band for the cocktail hour and Tracy set them up in this perfect corner where everyone could see and hear them. While we were greeting our guests, the head maitre'd whisked my husband and I away, and set up plates for us to eat by ourselves in the reception area. Great idea, we were so overwhelmed and caught up with the moment and so thankful they did that for us- b/c obviously we did not eat for the rest of the night! Another memorable moment was when my Mom asked the maitre'd if the guest room we had our things in was unlocked b/c she wanted to get her flats. Next thing we know, he is coming to her table with her shoes on a silver platter....I mean, WOW. We certainly felt loved and most definitely treated like royalty...The guests could not stop talking about the space, the bar, the beautiful rooftop and views. Some of my guests to this very day, still talk about me how the food was the very best 'wedding food' they have ever had and have recommended this place to others just based on that! Yeah, the dance floor is somewhat small if you have a 250-300person wedding, and there is this huge white blank wall planking it-but it's a loft space so what do you expect. But that didn't stop any of our guests from having a great time and loving this space.....Tracy and company made my wedding dreams come true, and I'm still thankful to them today for the best day of my life! read more

We recently held our daughter's wedding there and had a great experience, and have had very positive feedback from our guests. It is a beautiful space with an amazing rooftop area where we had cocktails as the sun set over the Hudson, and with amazing unobstructed views of downtown Manhattan. We had the ceremony indoors because of the heat (in July) but our daughter had quite a dramatic entrance down the spiral stairs into the area before we walked her down the aisle. The food was great and super plentiful, and the wait staff really great as well. No line for any bar though we had 245 people there. Shout out to Ryan who ran the show for us. Only minor negative was a fairly ugly brown curtain that for some reason is pulled across the wall behind the dance floor. It really detracts from the beauty of the rest of the place, and was not really very attractive in pictures taken during the ceremony. read more
