Tuesday, 6/24/2025: Easy peasy and in & out. Called ahead, received a text that meds were ready for pick up. I had to stop and say hello to my favorite lab technician Scott before leaving. Stopped by the front to drop off copies of my referrals as I had been directed to do so a couple of weeks ago. Since they changed the DS Logon for sign in to the MHS Genesis Portal I have been unable to access it. They really couldn't help me at the desk so I will need to call TriWest again & get help from MHS Genesis to restore access. Location is definitely convenient. read more

Pharmacy personal working the windows need to get on the same program. Some will check you in while trying to get new meds. Some tell you that they will not check you in for new meds, you have to use the QR code... Get on the same page. Also if it is mandatory for the QR code put it on your website. read more

Per usual the government cannot do anything right. I am in the reserves and currently on orders. I work in a secured area where I do not have access to my phone most of the day. I called the number to schedule an appointment, it rang for 30 minutes. I obviously have a job to do so I disconnected the call and returned to work. I was told about the online portal and tried that with no luck. Attached are a screen shot of the call that was never answered. Also the online portal that did not have my assigned PCM listed in the options. So then I tried another way utilizing a drop down to schedule an appointment with any PCM in Temecula and it said no results So I attempted an appointment at Camp Pendleton and it seems there were plenty of options So apparently Temecula is the only problem with scheduling. read more

Review is for the pharmacy only, as my PCP is civilian. I've come here a few times to fill prescriptions. It's convenient, yes, but for me I still have to drive 25ish minutes to get here so I only come when I'm in the area. Compared to other military facility pharmacies, I would have to rank a bit lower. When you come in, you have to scan gour ID at the machine, then it asks you questions and gives you a ticket. You then sit and wait for them to call your number. Once your number is called, you go up to the window and give them your prescription to be filled (unless you called it in for a refill). After that, you have to sit down again and wait. The second time they call you, is when you get the medication. I don't think I have ever been in and out of here in under an hour, and if that happens, it's a miracle! The facility is clean but the wait can be pretty long so be prepared to wait. I'd suggest having at least 2 hours to spend here if you have any other plans that day. Not sure why they process this way, but I'm sure there's a reason. Staff here is cordial at most. Some of the females are not very friendly. A smile can go a long way, just sayin'! Parking lot is not that big, but I've not yet had a problem finding a spot. If you're in a pinch and don't have time to wait, just go to your nearest Rite Aid. Co-pays suck, but it will definitely save you time. read more

I have been down here in the waiting room for the past 15 minutes and I can hear the lab crew CHIT CHATTING in the back and not calling me when I'm the only one here! I need my urine sample to be taken to figure out what's wrong and no one is here to assist asap. Management team need to coach the staff to get on it when people are waiting. This is the worst clinic that we have experienced, especially the pharmacy department! I don't know what happened but this department used to be efficient. Over a week ago, their supposedly updated software was trash. The staff stated that their system was down. Earlier, my wife went to pick up her prescription and she encountered the worst customer service, ever! She was told to wait once she checked in but not really telling her that it would take 4-5 hours to process her prescription! She was told that she'll receive a text message. It used to be once checked in, text will be sent 15 minutes (average) that the prescription is ready. Not sure what went down or how the branch clinic under the main hub (Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton) customer service went down the drain. And I noticed I don't see any active duty personnel anymore at the clinic. Are they now all being deployed getting ready for an "eminent" war?? Just wondering. I wish I'm wrong. You all need to improve or go back to the same customer service that you used to have! read more

Another poorly run military pharmacy. They let one person in the pharmacy at a time. One person at a time. So you have a dozen very elderly old souls who are standing in line, shivering in the cold on a December morning, while they wait to pick up their meds and/or catch pneumonia. (Wonder which will happen first? The prescription gets filled or they catch pneumonia?) Sadly, despite yet another glaring model of inefficiency, the Navy will give some numb nut a Bravo Zulu for a job well done. read more

My daughter was assigned a PCM here quite a while ago and every time she's had an appointment here, great service towards patients and quality of care are the always the standard! Appointments are readily available and easy to make. I have quite a bit of work experience in this field as I work in a hospital as well with patients and am a retired Navy Hospital Corpsman. I can also say, I understand it can be frustrating to wait at the pharmacy there, but it is a smaller clinic but it is definitely more convenient than driving to the Naval Hospital Pharmacy and the wait is going to be 10 times better, especially during this time. You will have to wait outside if the capacity is exceeded inside and you will have to have an appointment otherwise to enter the building. They do have personnel at the entrance that are asking COVID screening questions and taking temperatures as per CDC guidelines. One last thing, I highly, highly, highly recommend PA Belknap (pronounced bell*nap). He is one of the most professional, personable and thorough providers I have ever encountered! He is really there for his patients, always ensuring or referring, if needed the best medical care. read more

Had a VERY impolite and insensitive Petty Officer 2nd class checking people at the front office on the 11th of August. Though both of my children had separate appointments going on at the same time, my wife and I were unable to accompany each of our children individually. He said I wouldn't be able to accompany my son for his shots nor could I allow him to go by himself, which left my wife having to be in two places at once. The only thing that added a "star" was the fact that a doctor called and was able to accompany my son so he wouldn't be alone. read more

I went to the clinic this afternoon a little before 3 PM on 25 August. I asked the Man in window three what I'm supposed to do to get called. He told me there was a clipboard in the front of the door right inside to put my name on it and sign in. I did that and I said down in the lobby . After a while I noticed my name wasn't called so I went back out to look at the clipboard and I noticed that the six or seven people that were in the lobby with me did not sign in I was the only Who signed in. I asked a lady in the other window how am I supposed to wait for my name to be called or number whatever and she said there is a kiosk in the front you should ID card and it will generate a number. I thanked her and went to the other person who gave me the wrong info and let him know what he told me about procedure for waiting was incorrect .My meds did not come complete . I asked him why aren't they all together and he said because the doctor called it in but that was over four days ago. they should've all been together. so he said to sit down and wait and I asked him how long and he said it will not be long at all. Well it was long 21 minutes and still waiting. I got up and told him hey this is taking too long it's already 21 minutes and I need to go I'll come back tomorrow. he just said okay and he did not bother to see if they were almost complete or not. this is what I think I think he inadvertently just held those back and made me wait longer because I had to tell him that he gave me the wrong information on waiting for my number or how to get a number and decided to Play waiting game. I'm not a pharmacist but all the prescriptions should've been ready and the doctor called into prescription way before I came a few days worth. Customer service was not met. unprofessional service wrong information and playing the waiting game with my prescriptions. But I would like to compliment the female who gave me the correct information kudos to her. I will remember this next time I go and see how they operate next time One star and I've never given one star before. read more

If I could give a ZERO I would. My son had a 8am Appointment and we are only filling an epi pen and inhaler and have been waiting over an hour. We are literally the only ones here. If you have an appointment before 9 you can come and fill your prescriptions before the pharmacy opens to everyone else. Seems like they are having a company party in the back while we are stuck here waiting on them. Definitely miss the pharmacy in Texas at Fort Bliss. This kind of stuff would not fly there. Very disappointed like always with this place. If my son didn't have to get his meds papers signed by his provider for school we would definitely NOT be here. HATE THIS PLACE read more

This place has the worst treatment I have almost been to. Believe it or not I have been to worse or maybe just very similar. I was denied treatment because I unplugged the violent news on the tv that triggers me. All they had to do was plug it back in. I was accused of vandalizing property and the doctor was completely out of line, and disgusting. He wouldn't even give me his name. And said the cops were called and I needed to leave the building and never come back. read more

I have nothing but extreme grateful that this location is finally here. Lesser drive for retired , active duty, reservist who live up here. Definitely an hour save of driving instead of going down south to San Diego or west to Camp Pendleton. This clinic, is big enough. I find people here looks happier than usual pharmacy I've been into. First and foremost, this facility is terrific and worthy of five stars due to the location alone. Having these services in the Temecula Valley saves the hour trip, each way, to the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (the quality of service at NHCP is also typically outstanding so I am not comparing quality of services between facilities in this review). I have only used the lab and pharmacy refill services here, so I do not know the extent of other medically-related services which they offer, nor the quality of those services, but for pharmacy refills and lab work, this facility and its location is outstanding. Thank you for offering these services in our community and saving our time, gas money, additional traffic on the roads, etc. I sincerely hope these facilities remain open for our community indefinitely. read more

So, this morning, the father of my son went to this clinic to pick up his medicine.. He brought our son with him because I had to work and no one at home to watch him. The Corpman who greeted him at the door said, your son can't come in unless he has an appointment, go back to your car, leave him in there then come back to get your number. We understand that we're maintaining social distancing during this time but this Corpman could've suggested a better idea like, please come back on a different day when you don't have to bring your son and not a straight up, leave your son in the car and come get your number... Our son by the way is a year and a half. I work at NMCSD and we try to accommodate every patients needs the best possible way. read more

Probably the most unprofessional and rudest staff i've met in the pharmacy. They also never pick up the phone when you call to check on prescriptions which not only waste a drive but also the time of other people. As a branch of Pendleton, they give it an unprofessional reputation. If I had the time to go to a Pendleton for my prescriptions I would in a heartbeat but unfortunately I had to settle with this location. Their text line is not working (per usual) so I received permission from a service member to wait inside so I didn't miss my number. Upon having my number called, I did NOT get the text message and neither did those waiting longer than I was. I went to the counter and an civilian technician wanted to ask if I received the text KNOWING GOOD AND WELL NO ONE IN THE ROOM RECEIVED ONE. I told her no and she proceeded to annoyingly respond 'well you're supposed to wait outside' which I would have no problem w if their text service actually worked and she dropped her attitude. If I see the blonde tech again or you see this review, please know I will be filing a complaint against you. Thanks for the polite service workers in the facility but please do something about your civilian staff in the pharmacy. read more

The white male lab technician working at the front of Laboratory was VERY rude and unprofessional. He would sigh every 5 seconds and mumble curse words under his breathe. He was complaining the whole time to another tech because he couldn't find the ordered labs that were clearly there. He slammed his chair back angrily when he got up like a child. I felt unwelcomed and uncomfortable. I've never had customer service this bad, ever. Especially in a military facility. I served 8 years active duty and never did I once give bad treatment to a person just because I was having a bad day or due to their personal things in my life. Pharmacy is using an extremely flawed system. You have to go to the portal to get a prescription refill to tell you what time you have to get it picked by. It's over a 2 hour wait to find out that they still have to fill your prescription. read more

I have been coming here for 3 years as a service member with 13 years in I have to say I def have some medical issues, mainly my back. Every time I come here I get a lecture about my pain and how its normal and they give me handouts about exercises EVERY time i feel like I wasted my time or even worst that I just need to deal with my pain on my own or the typical military answer drink water and drive on they want to minimize my reasoning of being there and leave me feeling weak and that my medical issues are nothing. and the pharmacy wait is a nightmare! I already switched Dr.s to see if that was the fix it, but seems as if they are all the same. read more

The services are always fast and easy. The staff is always pleasant and easily to work with.

They couldn't get the prescription filled in 5 hours. Apparently there was confusion about dosage they said, so I drove to my doctor's office to get it straightened out. Then went back...they had another question they didn't bother to ask the first time they contacted the office so had to call again....it wasn't that complicated, said they would call me back personally and checked to make sure they had my number written down. They didn't call back. I received a text message right before closing...without enough time to get back at 5pm... I arrived at 5:03, all locked up. God forbid they should have their time wasted. Oppossite to the several low opinions of this place, we, as a family, have nothing but appreciation for the Outpatient Tricare Temecula. Not having to drive to Camp Pendleton to pick up medications is a major plus. My mom gets vaccinated in this place, and they have drawn blood to facilitate the longer trip to Oceanside. Everyone there has been respectful, helpful and very pleasant, and I really don't think we are the exception to the norm. From the enlisted individuals at the door, to the clean facilities, to the well mannered staff, this is as good as it's going to get in this type of establishment. 4.5 Stars. read more

My wife and I are 76 years old and we were treated so very respectfully by Mr. Mike Potraz as we both needed our blood tested. My wife has always needed to have a butterfly needle for blood drawn, however, Mr. Mike did such an excellent job on drawing my blood that when it came to Elizabeth's turn, she was so very convinced that the procedures went completely free of discomfort. We have nothing but praise for Mr. Mike Potraz and his professional skills and mannerism is rated second to none. His pleasing attitude makes the atmosphere very relaxing and enjoyable. The wait here is insane! You scan your ID then after an hour they call you up only to ask what you want and it's not even ready so you have to wait another hour or 2 in my case, I've been here 3 hours and my prescriptions are still not filled. Something is wrong. They need more locations and help if this is common practice here. Not a happy military family member today. read more

Could not be more disappointed for my first time going to an off base tricare facility. Waited over 2 hours for my medications in which they announced the pharmacists were in a meeting. As soon as that meeting was over all but one walked out the door, so the wait continued. read more

The pharmacy here is a joke! They have always been slow, but today was something else. They have a new ridiculous way of doing things. You walk up to the front door (you're not allowed in the building anymore) and the guy behind the desk hands you a form. I filled it out and gave it back and asked how long it would be. He said he didn't know and they would call me when it was ready. It could be this afternoon, maybe tomorrow. Umm what? I'm here to get it filled because I need it today. Do I wait? Do I come back? He had no information whatsoever. You cannot go in and even speak to a pharmacy tech. I waited a couple of hours and called to see if it was ready, but no one in the pharmacy will even pick up the phone! Every other pharmacy in town can fill a prescription while you wait. I don't understand what the problem is here. I suggest that if you can afford to fill them in town or need something same day, do not come here! I cannot even have it transferred to another pharmacy because no one will pick up the phone. Ugh read more

Absolutely THE WORST experience ever! The pharmacy staff is slow and inconsistent. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE foe the long waits, especially since you have a large number of people working behind the counter. A patient should not have to wait for 3 hours and 45 minutes for a script that is already filled and waiting to be picked up. read more

Such an awesome clinic. The staff are friendly, professional and we never have any issues. They always make our visits quick and painless. My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is how long it takes to get medications from the pharmacy and appointments are always scheduled 2-3 weeks out because they are always booked. This just goes to show that people love it here. They are always busy. The staff is great and so loving to my son. Glad there is a clinic out here.
