OVERALL/WHAT TO KNOW: -Really great Cajun-inspired sandwiches! -Seems like a great, laid-back place to hang out and have lunch (or any meal) with friends -Will definitely go back if I'm in the area! ARRIVAL: -Got to-go orders from here twice in the same week during my lunch break around 3pm. -It was largely empty, there were maybe 2 other people there. -It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was one of the closest places to my work and I thought the menu looked good so I gave it a shot and am glad I did. FOOD/DRINK: -I had the Blackjack Chicken Poboy and the Bogey chicken sandwich. -Both sandwiches were great. Chicken was expertly prepared: not too dry, not too charred (on the blackjack sandwich), not greasy from being fried (on the bogey sandwich), delicious seasoning. -All the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, including the seeded rolls. More than that, all the ingredients worked really well together. The sauce on each sandwich complimented each preparation of chicken perfectly. The lettuce and tomato were not thrown on incidentally either (as they often are with sandwiches). They rounded out the flavors and textures in a way where the sandwich would not have been nearly as good without them. -I was tempted to get the fries, but I thought the sandwiches were an ideal lunch option on their own: filling, fair portions, great price for the quality, not too heavy, and delicious. SERVICE: -At both visits, there was a friendly man behind the bar that took my order and promptly brought me my food when it was ready. ATMOSPHERE/LAYOUT: -The vibe is of a laid-back sports bar combined with a diner. There is tons of vintage sports memorabilia on the walls and a large tv behind the bar. There are more tables and booths than bar space or high tops, which is what makes it feel a bit more like a diner.

Owned and operated by one family for over 20 years. The restaurant is named after the Matriarch of the family as her son proudly said so. I like that family are all involved in every aspect of the business. Decor is pretty and clean and totally inviting for young and old. The prices were very reasonable and portions very generous. Crab cake sandwich has an abundant amount of crab meat and seasoned simple with old bay and then lightly coated on breadcrumbs. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was tender and flavorful with large slices of steak. I'm usualy not a come slaw eater when it just comes complimentary on the side but theirs is totally home made and I could vats of just that! Ample parking and convenient to get to, I will definitely be back!

Excellent decor and vibe. Very friendly staff. Booths are small and cramped making eating with four people difficult. Fries were very tasty

Took my Mom for dinner tonight and it definitely did not disappoint!!! In fact, it was fabulous and we really enjoyed our entire experience... Friendly and warm staff, cool decor and atmosphere...and the food was delicious! Ordered coconut shrimp and bourbon shrimp for apps...both were really well prepared... Coconut shrimp had a fresh toasted coconut flavor and was paired w a yummy orange marmalade! Bourbon shrimp were sticky sweet and slightly tangy cooked w onions and bursted w flavor! Mom and I both had the fish and chips for our entrees... 3 nice cod filets beer battered and so crispy on the outside while the inside boasted tender, fresh and delicate cod! Served w fries (I chose seasoned and Mom had steak fries), tartar, lemon, and coleslaw (this was the only thing I didn't care for, but my Dad makes the best slaw so nothing usually compares). Oh, and get a side of the creole Mayo to dip ANYTHING in it...so tasty!!! Used it for my fries and fish a little too! Overall, a lovely place to frequent and a staple I will happily add onto my go to spot list! If you've never been you need to go! P.S. Their prices are incomparable to most Babylon restaurants...dinner with a 25% tip (and the 4% cc service charge) was only $65! We didn't drink, but for 2 apps, 2 entrees (with leftovers) and an Ice-T, I think this is a very good price point for the quality of food and service we received.

Caught Tricia's after a quick detour and one thing led to another and landed in Babylon Village looking for the nearest gas station after we left Robert Moses Beach- before heading home. Time-wise, it was cutting right into our Dinner and for us, Tricia's was a quick come-by. Pub-ish style, some Bar seating, Booths and smaller tables. Place may not be spacious but for the short time we were there, Tricia's was comfy. Baseball posters and old-fashioned tchotchkes make up the style here- with an excellent Music mix of Aretha, Cat Stevens and Dion. Blackened Fish Tacos were good and replete with Fish. Hubby's Crab Cakes were also good and commented on the wonderful lump crab. Waters weren't filled right away- and to me, that bit of attention- was needed, but service was pleasant and rounding it out with a 3+1/2. The neat thing about Tricia's was- food was good and price was right for a quick bite.

Good menu, great prices. Food was better than average bar food. Fried clams were ok, sweet potato fries were a little thin and oily, but good. Didn't need a dusting of sugar! My daughter liked the burger. I would go back and try other items! Thanks!

This is a local love for sure! It's official. I wish I could say I've been dining here for years, but sadly I've overlooked this gem for some time. Not so sadly though, I will be back soon and often. Tricia's has the absolute best burger deal, it was cooked perfectly medium rare, seasoned wonderfully, and treated fantastic! What I mean to say is it was such a quality burger, dressed with crispy curly bacon and a Cajun aioli, Swiss cheese all in an awesome bun and quick grilled to perfection. This was a supreme treat, not only is this an amazing burger it's an awesome deal! For $10 you can choose any of their 8oz burgers and five shrimp any way you want them. TEN "DOLL-HAIRS!" Man what a great day I had here at Tricia's. I'm upset I haven't been sooner, I've always wanted to check them out and just hesitated every time. The menu looks dope with all their poboys and specials, I can't wait to explore and indulge. Our server was a cool dude; super friendly and helpful, always making sure we were well taken care of. A fat juicy perfectly cooked burger, 5 shrimp, the most amazing sweet potato fries and a buffalo chicken and bacon sandwich all for under 23 bucks!? Good coleslaw came with the sandwiches and a bowl of free pickles for us to share was a nice touch as well. It's these kind of local dive bar cafe joints that keep pulling at our heart strings and filling up our bellies for years to come. Truly an awesome day all thanks to this awesome meal at a great price. Wait, I don't feel I conveyed how great these sweet potato fries were... take the best ones youve had and throw them out, these were so much betterererer; Yeah I said betterererer; they were super fresh, super crispy, and super melt in your mouth fantastic. I don't even do sweet potato fries much anymore and I'm craving more of these bad boys. The maple syrup on the side... that could be helped out, I'd prefer less of a sticky sweet heart attack and more of a maple mustard mayo jobby, but the cinnamon and brown sugar fries were bomb af. Please visit and leave your pretension at home.

    Complimentary pickles!

Nah - the boys just ate that. Chinese or Asian fusion? We just had that the other day. Diner? Nah. My daughter remembered Post Office Cafe and we went. It was very loud in the front and we almost walked out but figured we'd give it a try. They seated us way in the back (I had no idea this place was so huge!) where it was quieter. I ordered a chicken salad of some kind with avocado and salad. My son ordered the mac and cheese - it was the highlight of dinner! Absolutely delicious. His friend got the Thai calamari which was decent until he got to the bottom. It was soaked in seasoning and too sweet. My daughter got the buttered pasta - children's portion. I'll let the photo speak for itself. It was drenched in butter. On the bright side - service was great, most of the meals were excellent, waffle fries on point. I mentioned the pasta and showed our server the pool of butter. He took it off our bill without even asking. So ... 4 stars - 5 stars for local business service and just lost the one star for the less than stellar meal and app. Will probably be back!

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.
