Tried the crab fries, very rich and delicious so I recommend sharing the fries with others. Food is well prepared which makes the small wait worth it. Burger / Pub/ PO boy Cajun flare which is very appetizing when your in the mood. They make the wings very well. Had the bourbon steak sandwich. Spot on followed up with a pecan pie which completed the meal. Staff are great, friendly and on top of things. Parking can suck but know where to park . Terrible service, the managers don't care. I used door dash to have food delivered. I said that I wanted no bacon on my black jack chicken sandwich, they included bacon and did not include the bread, how is that a sandwich? Really? The receipt clearly states no bacon. I would definitely come back to this cozy little restaurant. As soon as you walk in, the waiters greet you and you're helped right away. Everything was pretty straightforward, got pickles and hot peppers to start off the meal. I ordered a burger and shrimp special and everything came out perfectly. If you like sweet and savory, I would recommend the bourbon burger. Way better bang for your buck too compared to the other places around the area too. After going back I noticed an up charge for using a credit card. There was no formal warning or disclosure on the menu, it was just added after we got our bill which is against their agreement with credit card companies to use their services. everything else was wonderful except the surchage. read more

Just had the best bad lunch experience ever! For those of you in or around the Babylon area, Tricia's Cafe goes beyond comically bad. The waitress was clearly strung out on something (she confessed that she could barely stay awake.) She took our order and repeated it back incorrectly twice: me: "buffalo chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries please." waitress: "ok, steak fries" me: "no, sweet potato fries" waitress: "right, steak fries" me: "no, not steak fries. SWEET POTATO FRIES." (There was only one other occupied table, by the way.) 10 minutes later the waitress came by and said "oh, I need to get you menus." We reminded her that she had taken our order, and 5 minutes later she came back to take it again. Apparently she lost the order in the 3 feet between our table and the computer. When the food came out, my buffalo chicken sandwich magically transformed into a burger with bleu cheese and hot sauce. And it sucked (very dry, flavorless). She also forgot the fries... The experience was so bad, I thoroughly enjoyed it for the sheer absurdity! There are so many good places to eat in Babylon, it's easy to say stay away from this dive. read more

This is a cute little place to grab a bite - but it won't be quick. I came in one afternoon for lunch during the week. My dad and I were the one of two tables in the place so we thought we would be in and out. We both ordered steak sandwiches, medium rare, but it took about 30-40 minutes for them to come out and mine was more on the medium well side. There was only one server in the restaurant but he seemed so flustered - he was running around taking orders bringing drinks and the phone kept ringing for I assume take out orders. Poor guy. He was very nice to us and didn't rush us despite being overwhelmed. I would like to come back and try this place again. My food was delicious so it's worth another shot to me. read more

Went there today for LUNCH with my boyfriend and the bill was just under $45. I couldn't believe it. I looked up the menu online before going cuz we were trying it out for the first time. There were no prices listed, so we said ok, let's try it. My son got the wing special as his dinner. My daughter and I got the burger special. Normally I have ALWAYS loved their burgers. I love a plain beef burger...nothing added to the meat except salt and pepper. Well, these burgers brought me back to being a kid and not in a good way. Spent a great day at the beach. Worked up an appetite. Came here based in yelp reviews. Ordered chicken wings and shrimp as an appetizer, two burgers, lemonade and a Coke. Waited 1 hour and 5 minutes. No food. Our waiter seemed very aloof. Asked if it would take much longer, he said it'd be right out. Waited an additional 15 minutes, hunger turned into anger. Asked the waiter if we could just pay for the drinks. He brought us the bill, said he was sorry. Paid for our drinks and left no tip. I understand sometimes things just don't run smoothly, but as long as there's some communication with our waiter, I'll let it slide. Didn't even comp our drinks. Hospitality? My dad discovered this place a long while back. We only ate here a few times since the seating is very cramped and it is always crowded. We did, however, order from here OFTEN. They do take-out. Family-owned, quiet gem tucked right off the Main Street. We've been coming for years - you start to crave their food after awhile! Cons: They did not honor a recent advertisement for five dollar burgers, which was the reason we went in the first place. The waiter informed us that they were losing too much money. The advertisement was four days old. We had already waited a while for the table and then we had waited a while to place our order because they were very busy. By the time we were told this, we just decided to stay rather than leave. For this reason, we would not go back. First time I came here, the server/bartender looked like he had either either gotten into the losing end of a bar fight, or had fallen down a flight of stairs - on his face. My kind of place already. I always order the potato skins, which are quite good and the sweet potato fries, which are very good. The fries come with some sort of brown sugar sauce on the side, which really make the dish. If you like sweet potato fries, try these. My husband likes the po boys and orders them every time, so I'm assuming there are quite good. I'm downgrading a star because last time we went for lunch, we arrived at 12:20. The guy (I think the chef since he didn't look familiar) who wash washing the glass on the front door said they don't open until 12:30. Wouldn't it make sense to tell us they aren't open yet, but are free to grab a seat and wait? OK, fine. That's asking a lot, I guess. No biggie. But when we went back at 12:35, the door was still locked. So lame. So we ended up across the street at Glen's, which is really the best breakfast place around. So lunch wasn't ruined after all. Wide beer selection, menu had a very good variety of foods but not too many that it would be confusing. We ordered an appetizer of wings and crab cakes. Both of which were outstanding. Real crab meat, lightly pan fried, crispy and tasty. The portion of wings was large and over flowing for 10 dollars. We couldn't believe the portion that was served. I ordered a typical burger and seasoned fries, all of which was cooked to perfection and came to the table sizzling hot. Due to covid I have not been able to enjoy my favorite dinner spots but last night my husband and I went out to Tricia's Cafe for the first time in a while and they never disappoint. It was a little bit of a wait due to less seating but the food is phenomenal and definitely worth the wait. The wait staff was entertaining to say the least and we can't wait to go back. I love this place! I love how it is set up with all the oldies photos upon the wall and the music played in the restaurant is also the oldies. Never a bad experience. Burgers are always fresh and hand pressed. You don't see that often done at restaurants anymore. They have a large but comfortable sized menu with many different things to choose from. The burgers are definitely my favorite though, they're always fresh and hand pressed. Always made to order, never made ahead of time. Their chicken wings are very juicy and a good size. I never leave the place hungry. Gotta love that! There is one young lady who has been serving me ever since I started going there and she is a great waitress. Very personable. Always suggests menu items that go along well with others. Always laughing and smiling, she truly makes my time there enjoyable.
