** VERY LONG BUT PLEASE READ*** Normally I would never post anything like this but I feel strongly that EVERYONE should know how horribly I was treated by Miceli Brothers on Little east neck road. I ordered through Yelp (or grub hub) for a delivery for rigatoni ala vodka pie that in the description says it comes with chicken cutlets and bacon for $30 along with a soda and 6 fried zepolis. After the pizza was delivered (late), the pizza was missing the chicken and bacon. I call Miceli's to let them know my pie was wrong thinking they'd apologize and rectify the situation. Instead I was yelled at by a grown man, who I suspect is the owner. He proceeds to tell me that he does not make a pie with chicken and that grub hub has access to change their menu items. So I respond with "so you're telling me you charge over $30 for pasta on a pie?" He proceeds to blame grub hub again and said that they change the prices of the items so they make money and that if I'm expecting a refund that I am not getting it. This harassment goes on for another 5 minutes until I hang up and call grub hub. THEN... As I am on the phone with grub hub, the man calls my cellphone on his personal phone and leaves me a nasty 3 minute voicemail telling me I am just trying to get things for free. AND THEN.. I receive a text message from the same number asking me how many times have I done this before and how I am good and not to leave a bad review. I have never in my life been treated and harassed by anyone like this in my life ESPECIALLY by a business. I really hope everyone does themselves a favor and orders elsewhere because people like this do NOT deserve our business. read more

I've been coming here for years. Not on a regular basis but once every few months since we're not really pizza goers. But when we do or when I have a craving for pepperoni pinwheels I only go here. I never use third party ordering apps like Uber eats or grubhub because I know they charge for random things. So I usually call ahead and pick it up myself or order on the spot. This place has a rude, disrespectful, cursing pizzeria manager/ apparently self proclaimed owner. Regardless of us getting a "$5 special surprise bag" deal on the TooGoodToGo app, luckily we didn't have pork in the "surprise bag" but the pizzeria's manager was reluctant to even understand we cannot eat pork due to our religion & was dismissive of our first concern. Secondly, once we asked them to heat up the cold pizza as we were going on a long drive they did not want to accommodate us despite us offering to pay extra for this. The manager got disrespectful and resorted to continuously calling us cheap, verbally harassing us and saying to pay for "actual pizza" and "regular slices" If we want hot pizza. He also said we're not paying customers which makes no sense. Ordering through this app is like ordering through any other third party app like Uber or Door Dash. This food is still from their establishment at the end of the day. However there was this one employee in the back who was kind enough to accommodate all of our concerns despite the appalling behaviour of the manager/owner and helped to mediate his erratic behaviour. Came for lunch with two coworkers because one of my friends lives near by and this is their pizza place they always go to. Speciality slices today included: bacon pineapple, Sicilian, grandma vodka, white, baked ziti, buffalo chicken, chicken marsala, BBQ chicken, chicken bacon ranch, pepperoni & sausage I think that's it? I tried to remember all of them ! They also had large garlic knots, pinwheels, rice balls, stuffed pizza, and beef patties (odd). Pizza: Most slices have a sesame seed crust so if you're not into that, I wouldn't come here. Chicken Marsala slice: lame, not really good at all. The flavor/seasoning was so weak it barely tasted like Marsala wine/sauce at all. Grandma vodka: great little slice, tasty vodka sauce with fresh mozzarella on a crispy crust. Downside was this is a fairly small slice for $4. White slice: if you love a lot of ricotta this is your slice. The whole slice was spread full of ricotta and mozzarella cheese sprinkled with basil. Good slice, but similar to most pizza places. Chicken bacon ranch: this slice had the most flavor. If you're looking for a filling slice go for this one. Crumbled bacon, mozzarella & cheddar cheese, chicken bits, and ranch. I mean all of those ingredients are good alone so of course together they are delicious. (This slice does not have a sesame crust) Overall: their pizza isn't that memorable compared to other pizzerias I've been to. Slices are $4 and slightly smaller than other pizzerias. Go for the vodka & chicken bacon ranch. read more

I rarely give 5 start reviews so here it goes... This pizzeria/restaurant is AMAZING! I went there for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend for dinner. My friend suggested it to me since she went there for an event a few weeks ago and said the pizza was delicious. I asked the chef what the specials were and he suggested the Veal with prosciutto and melted mozzarella in sherry wine. It sounded delicious so I tried it and....OMG. Amazing! So mouthwatering and fresh. My boyfriend had the buffalo pizza and regular slice and he said it tasted like authentic NYC pizza.... maybe better! I've been quoted in the past as saying a pizza restaurant is the best. But all that changed today. Other pizzeria's are second to "Miceli Brothers Pizzeria & Restaurant." I met up with my brother and it was easy parking because they have a lot on 9th behind the building. Coming inside I was impressed with the dark wood trim and off color walls plus beautiful floors. It's half a restaurant and the other side is the pizzeria. At the counter we were greeted by a wonderful woman, who was eager to help. She let us pick the slices we wanted. She was very polite. If she didn't know a price, she asked the man sitting behind us eating a salad. That man turned out to be part owner of the restaurant, Antonio, a very charismatic guy that was in love with his business. After we ordered and sat down he walked over our rice ball and conversed with us for a minute. Antonio told us his brother Mathew and him own the building. They tried different crusts but went with the sesame seed in order to help the town workers (Ask Antonio the story). Once he walked away it was time to eat. Now, here it comes, the statement I'm about to make will be open for much debate, but I will be the one to say it......The bacon, chicken, ranch slice at "Miceli" is the best on Long Island! Let me explain why. The bacon they use has a deep smoky taste. Add the creamy ranch sauce and the tender chicken you have a winner. The icing on the cake was the crunchy crust with sesame seed on the crust. I never had it that way before and don't know if I can live without it. Don't forget the rice ball. That too was melting in my mouth. They have the right portions of rice and cheese. This made it a complete and tasty ball. I was pleased with the food, price, service, and atmosphere. Can I go as far as to say give them six stars? I will leave that up to you. Definitely come and try it out. You will see I'm not wrong. read more

Wow REALLY disappointed. Mistakes happen and I am okay with that when a restaurant makes it right. Ordered a Miceli Bros. Salad with chicken, was as described and expected. Soup, pasta e fagioli, not the best I've had or the worst, heavy on onions and I hate when restaurants replace Ditalini with cut up penne. But I ordered a specialty eggplant slice and it was missing. I get that things sometimes are forgotten and apologies were given and originally accepted, however, the eggplant slice which did come to the house was both ice cold and burnt. Clearly this is not the way to make things right with your customer. I ordered here because of the positive reviews and I'm glad most of their customers are happy.
