Leak still isn't fixed…read more This man seems to think it is ok to cuss at clients via text. He was unable to do the work while I was home due to the fact that he purchased chipped sink. He did the work while I was on a work trip and my boyfriend let me know that that a rebuild he did was not done and in fact leaking in a different place. He returned to fix it. I am still out of town do not know of its correct and simply asked to get a invoice to pay email via square. (HE HAS SQUARE, I run my buisness viasquare I sent him screen shots on how to do this) this is when he started cussing. I told him it's not smart to cuss at clients and as a business owner he should know how to do this. Square will protect me if the work is still not right. I do not want to give a stranger my credit card number when the work was not done right the first time. Seems simple enough. Cussing. At. Customers. Is. Not. Ok.

We had Evergreen come out to give us a quote on a repair or replacement of a toilet. The technician…read moretold my wife that the toilet we had was for a pressurized system and told her about how dangerous they were and how they can hurt people. We have used this system for 5 years. He said that he could replace the entire toilet, so she tried to get a hold of me, but I was at work and not available. She felt pressured to make a decision so she told him to just replace the toilet. They then charged her almost $1100 to replace the toilet. The new toilet runs about $285 at Home Depot. Of course, later that same evening we got a quote back from another reputable company, saying their cost for putting in a new toilet was $375, which did not include the price of the toilet, which we had originally planned to supply for whomever did the work. I called and talked to a manager about the astronomical costs and they provided me with the following information/excuse for their costs. The breakdown of how they charge is as follows: 40% for parts and labor 10% for pure profit 50% goes towards operating costs such as their fleet of vehicles and advertising. So just remember that when your quote comes back to you, 50% of your quote is just to pay for their vehicles and their advertising cost and has nothing to do with the cost of actually doing work for you. I wish I would've seen the reviews about them price gouging prior to even calling them. Because I called them to question their price gouging and scare tactics, they did refund us $54.00, as if that makes up for the several hundreds of dollars they overcharged us.

They fixed the problem. I paid $169.00 for incorrect info. When I called All American when the toilet clogged again( before I called Roto Rooter) I was told they don't work on weekends. Don't hire Weis Plumbing!…read more We live in a beautiful 120 year old home in Albany with plaster ceilings and walls. Ten years ago we had a leak in an upstairs bathtub (seal failed) which caused water to drain into our dining room ceiling, flowing down through our chandelier. It ruined part of our table, our table pads and left numerous flaking sections of the ceiling. We called Weis to fix the leaking drain. Unbeknownst to us, they "repaired" the seal with plumber's putty which dries out and cracks over time. In the spring of 2024, we finally had budgeted to have our dining room ceiling repaired and painted - FINALLY!! Three months later the seal in that same upstairs tub failed and water poured down and through our ceiling again. Once again I have patches of plaster that are cracked and threatening to collapse. Needless to say, we did not call Weis to fix it the second time. The plumber that we did call told us that it was "repaired" with plumber's putty which had dried out and cracked. They fixed it with silicone which does not dry out or crack. I sent an email to Weis last summer explaining what had happened. Foolishly I thought that I would hear back from someone with - at a minimum - an apology for what had happened. I held out hope that they might offer to cover the cost of our latest plumber's bill or - I know crazy - offer to help cover the cost of the new repairs needed. I did not hear back in any way from them. That tells me all the rest that I need to know about this company.
