Trifecta used to be good but I don't know what happened. We took a break from them for about 8 months and decided to order again this past week. The food and packaging has completely changed. We ordered 20 meals (2 per day for 2 of us) and so far we couldn't finish any of them because they were either mush or tasted horrible. The new packaging is horrible and leaks through the bottom. I am sitting on a 48 hr Shift (military) in which I cannot leave to get food. Unfortunately I've been living off of lifesavers, corn chips, tea, water, and breakfast I cooked because I haven't been able to stomach the meals I brought with me to work. What makes it worse is they already charged me for this current week. So now we will have to pray our next batch of meals taste like something, otherwise that's $564 down the drain in two weeks!! The first delivery was damaged so they had to resend it. I didn't get a notification that it was being delivered till that day when I had already left the house and gone into the office. They charge my card a week before I get the next set off meals, and it's impossible to cancel without calling them. I brought in the second package and set it on my run and it leaked this gel all over and ruined the rug. Ohh and the meals suck! The meals are super small and flavor less. I gave one to a friend and they had to cover it in salt and pepper to get it down. The packaging is ridiculous too. I'm not even Mr. Green or some environmentalists, but the amount of packaging and waste from delivering these is insane. Tons of styrofoam and probably 5 to 10 pounds of these ice packs. I received my food on Friday and the dinner I ate on Tuesday gave me food poisoning. I was vomiting violently from 10 PM till almost 3 AM. Today is Thursday and I am still sick. All of the food came in containers that were not vacuumed sealed and one was even open a little. They tell you the food is good for seven days which is insane. Even the salmon they said would last for seven days. The breakfast eggs were liquid eggs and not real eggs. I have written to the company and I have still not heard anything. I moved to another state and called their customer service to see if I could get my order shipped to my new address. I'm a new Trifecta customer. I strive to eat healthy. I typically prepare my own meals. However, in an effort to save myself some time, I've decided to accept some meal prep help as a 2024 New Year gift to myself. Again, I'm new, so there's not much history for me to reflect on...but, so far, so good. I chose the keto meal plan. I track macros. I'm not "really" eating a strict keto diet; however, I struggle to stay within my carb allotment (i.e. if I eat how I want to, I over-eat carbs)...by ensuring I eat at least one low carb meal each day, I have a bit more flexibility when planning my other two meals. Each entree is clearly labeled with nutrition information (protein, carbs, fat, fiber, calories, etc.), so adding the meal to my macro app is super easy. My order arrived on exactly the day Trifecta said it would. I ordered 7 entrees, they were packed in a box with dry ice, very cold/frozen upon arrival, and delivered by FedEx. The entrees are vacuum sealed. I store in the freezer, move an entree to fridge to thaw the night before, and then reheat in a skillet on stovetop. You can microwave but they recommend stovetop for best quality. Meals taste fresh and delicious and I love that they are prepared using organic ingredients. You can choose to select your own meals or choose to have the chef select for you. I let the chef pick, I like to be surprised (I'm not a picky eater). I recently noticed that Trifecta is currently offering a promotion for new customers. I'm not new, I've placed a few orders...but still, I'm newer. There was no promotion being offered when I first signed up. I emailed Trifecta, I asked if they would honor the promo for me, even though I don't exactly qualify. My first delivery still hasn't arrived (Friday delivery delayed until Saturday, until Tuesday, and now Wednesday). Customer chat, while easy to access and mildly apologetic, has offered nothing to make up for this pretty significant delay and oversight, short of arranging to skip my next delivery. After one update email from upper management apologizing for the Friday delay, I've had to proactively reach out for updates on delays. My boyfriend who lives with me opened a new account the same week, experienced a one-day delay (Saturday delivery), and received his food with the ice bags almost completely melted and bottom of the box had dripped through. As his box contains meat, we were both a little concerned, but let it go. His meals have been alright, but exceedingly small. For a company that markets itself for athletes, I only see the pre-set meal plans working for non-athlete women, at approx 300 calories per meal. Active adults will need to purchase a la carte to even have a hope of getting enough calories. To be fair, serving sizes are all on the website, and I simply didn't pay close enough to them as I was finally sucked in by months of social media marketing. Other things to note: - My boyfriend experienced some serious bugs on the website while trying to order that were frustrating enough that he almost passed on the whole thing. - He received tracking information from FedEx, while I haven't received any. When I brought it up with customer chat, they stated that most of California is covered with GSO, not FedEx, and they don't provide shipping/tracking information. Not sure why one of our deliveries made it, and the other couldn't, but they haven't offered any additional explanation or apology. -This was mentioned below in another review, but you need to call to cancel. I have been buying the Clean meal plan from Trifecta for about a month and a half, now. I decided to get really serious about my fitness and nutrition - the fitness was there, but the nutrition was not - and tbh, I just REALLY wanted abs this year!! I bought 2 meals a day, 7 days a week, because having to cook and clean, when I didn't really know much about my ideal diet + meal prepping, wasn't really possible with my busy work schedule. To add, my trainer approved the macros, and all I've needed to do was cook really simple breakfasts for myself, to supplement. Admittedly, starting off was really difficult - I was hungry in between meals, so I divided my Trifecta meals into half, and spaced them out through the day. Now I feel full throughout the day. I've been cutting weight successfully (dropped 3% body fat, currently at 20%), feel happy and healthy, feel that I have time in my day, and am super excited because - I have ABS! :) I've definitely never encountered this level of success before, with my diet. When I do decide to cook, I feel more empowered and knowledgeable about the ingredients and portions I'm making. In regards to the taste, I'm happy with it. Admittedly, there are sometimes lots of duplicate plates, and the plates can be hit or miss (mostly hit). But generally speaking, they are tastier, and more filled with variety than meals I'd be willing to cook for myself. I also choose to microwave my meals, even though they also recommend using an air-fryer or oven. Those options might yield better results. Also worth adding that my MAIN goal is fitness and getting to my ideal physique, so taste isn't my highest priority. I have received at least four orders from Trifecta so far, and thankfully so. My husband and I order enough bulk to feed each of us for 7 days per week, 3 meals (each) per day. Any time I've had an issue (one item missing, or a billing issue on my side) they have been quick to resolve it in a manner that suited me best. I've had no problem adding or changing my orders. I also love that the food comes rather plain, so I can add whatever I'd like to it. I get bored with food easily, so it's nice to change it up. Knowing what is in each container and the macros of every portion helps tremendously; my husband and I count macros and there is no need to weigh raw and portion then cook and so on. I really wanted this to work. My wife and I both set up accounts so we could each get 5 days worth of meals. Not one delivery has been on time or correct. I've been missing meals and a LOT of repeated meals. It's very boring to eat the same dull meals several days in a row. If I wanted this I could cook a large meal and then store for the rest of the week. Trifecta will tell you the 'never' repeat meals on the first missed delivery was a fluke. Yet neither are true. This system is very expensive and bland taste. There are a lot better for less. Oh and 100% money back guarantee is false as well. They refunded $151 of the $161 of the first delivery. I have tried multiple food delivery services by now. I like Trifecta because they say it is all organic, they offer different meal options and it is pretty balanced in terms of macros. I did the Paleo plan. Never had an issue with delivery or service. And, of course it is nice that you don't have cook! BUT I could not get over the taste. You'd think that you'd get a lot of variety if you use a meal delivery service. Not here. I mean you get a variety of meals but for whatever reason they all taste the same and just plain awful. I don't use a lot of salt or condiments in my food. I enjoy the natural, plain flavor of the different types of foods - meat, seafood, veggies, etc. With these, there is no flavor. Regardless of whether it is salmon, chicken or beef, they all taste the same. It is one way to go on a diet - just get meals that you have 0 appetite for! You just don't look forward to that time where you get to sit down and enjoy a nice meal anymore. Yeah, I lost a little bit of weight but I also lost interest in food, or the food I was eating. I want to live life and enjoy it to the fullest, even when it comes to my food. Not suffer through terrible tasting meals just because it is organic and supposedly healthy. I say supposedly because wild caught salmon is always bright pink. Farm raised is light pink. They say use wild caught but I'm having a hard time believing that because the salmon that came with their meals was always barely pink (farm raised?). It got to a point where I was eating them because I had all these meals that I paid for. I felt bad not eating them. Also, the meals are vacuum sealed. So you'd think they last longer. Nope. For a little under $15/meal after shipping and tax, Trifecta delivered nutritious meals every week for 3 months while I was traveling for work. This helped me reduce trying to figure what to eat. I was hoping to lose weight without going to the gym. Unfortunately I didn't see results because on the weekends when I went back home, I didn't stick to healthy eating because I started getting tired of the same type of meals every week. Been using trifecta and I have to say the meals are by far the best prepackaged cooked meals on the market! However I have received a lot of duplicate meals, and a lot of meals with broccoli and salmon, two things I don't like eating everyday! I have to take a break for now because it's a little pricey for me now that I'm Not working, but I'll be back! So convenient and tasty! I just wish there was a menu to choose from, not the a la carte but full meal selection, I just want to be able to select my meals. Hope they come up with this option in the near future! Ah, Trifecta! I'm your target customer! A six-day-a-week CrossFitter looking for a convenient way to track my macros and watch my nutrition more closely. I'm largely vegetarian, so I went with the veggie meals. The meals do decently for my macro goals, but are a bit lacking on the protein side of things. They taste fine. I wasn't expecting to get double supreme pizza delivered that would fit into my nutrition plan, so I'm cool with a tad bland-ish. To my disappointment, though, it appears the kitchen doesn't calculate the nutrition information properly. The label on one of my meals with veggies, rice, and a Beyond Burger patty seemed very low. The nutrition info was as follows: Calories: 410 Fat: 7g Protein: 11g Carb: 78g I've been doing this veggie thing long enough to know that plant-based burgers have way more fat and protein than that, so I confirmed with customer service that they do, indeed, use the real "Beyond Burger" patties. Here's the nutrition information for a Beyond Burger: Calories: 270 Fat: 20g Protein: 20g Carb: 5g The burger is listed on the label, in the ingredients, but seemingly is not accounted for in any of the nutritional information. What gives? Does this mean that ALL the nutritional information in their meals is unreliable? I checked the rest of my packages and the other meals including the Burger listed less protein than the individual burger on its own. Looking back, the meals with the tofu seem low, as well. Given that I only started using Trifecta to optimize my nutrition, track my macros, and up my performance, I'm not sure I'll continue using these guys. read more

Did not like the taste and had trouble figuring out how to cancel. It would be nice if they had a "pause your meal plan" option, and not just stop a few meals.
