I had a month membership and had a difficult time getting an appointment for the sauna. With that , even after managing to get scheduled in, there are no showers to wash off all the toxins eliminated and how logical is it to reabsorb everything just sweat out? I just about fell over when I heard the staff tell a customer "Don't shower right away ... The toxins will still release" Wrong! Wash that poison off asap (rinse off immediately is the health industry recommendation and common sense). Fasting and juicing is undoubtable good for you, but going days on juice only and with no medical staff/dietician supervising...high cost/high risk... I'm not understanding how substantial, physical health claims and services are not regulated by licensing or require certification. Offering alkaline water is a wonderful feature ... not helping to wash out the bottles (ick!) is really just not sanitary.

Beautiful Resort, Disappointing Front Desk Experience…read more The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, comfortable villas, and a great restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful stay. After we had already checked in and paid the required incidental deposit, we were unexpectedly told to pay an additional deposit. When I questioned this, the Front Desk Supervisor, Michael, told us that if we did not pay immediately, our reservation would be canceled, despite the fact that our stay had already been paid for. What was even more disappointing was the way we were treated. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude, with repeated references to "hotel policy" rather than any genuine effort to help. This happened on my husband's birthday, and it completely ruined the beginning of our celebration. The property deserves five stars, but the customer service we received at the front desk was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no guest should be treated this way.

Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. They do have room service, plenty of parking, on-site spa (did not try), and a wine tasting room (did not try) near the restaurant ... separated from the hotel. The decor in the lobby area is a little dated, but neat and clean -- front desk staff were very friendly.

Walking away and ignoring a customer doesn't solve the situation. I had to call her back and say, "Excuse me, since you don't want to take my cash, I'd like to pay with my credit card." She returned with an obvious attitude, turned the credit card terminal toward me, and walked away again before I had even finished paying. I was truly disappointed by how I was treated. A little courtesy and communication would have gone a long way. I have been a loyal CVS customer for nearly a decade, picking up the same prescription from this…read morelocation -- the same location I've been coming to since I was in elementary and middle school in this neighborhood. What happened today was one of the most disrespectful and incompetent pharmacy experiences I have ever had. I came in to pick up my medication and was told it was an insurance issue. I spent my ENTIRE day making calls -- to my insurance, to my doctor's office -- getting everyone to do their part, only to come back and still be told it wasn't going through. Why? Because Jinny, the pharmacy technician who was "helping" me, did not know how to properly process the claim and refused to listen when I calmly explained how this prescription has always been handled. Instead of listening, she stayed on her phone texting for five minutes while I politely asked to speak with a manager. When I repeated my request, she looked me in the eye and said "what do you want -- your medicine or the manager?" She then put my medication back on the shelf and refused to assist me. I continued asking for a manager and she acted as though she couldn't hear me. When Yvonne came over, she told me to my face that I didn't know what I was talking about. Both employees were dismissive, condescending, and unprofessional. I was mocked and belittled while I stood there calmly advocating for myself. Then -- and this is the part that says everything -- the head pharmacist walked over, pressed ONE button, and it was done. Instantly. The same thing I had been telling them all day. The girls went quiet and returned to their work. Not a single apology. Not one word of acknowledgment for the full day they wasted of my time. I asked to speak with the manager and was told he was on vacation. I asked for a contact email or number to escalate and was told they had none. Convenient. Jinny's incompetence and refusal to listen cost me an entire day. The disrespect shown by her and Yvonne is inexcusable. I will not be returning to this CVS -- or any CVS -- after this experience.
