    Fresh fruit

This shop is located inside the Science Center and replaced the old McDonalds I remember when bringing my own childrena couple decades ago. The food includes Mexican food and also Pizza, which seems to be the popular choice. The food came up really fast, and was enough to keep the grandsons happy. Tables are throughout the food court and kept clean by Science Center staff and very small crowds this day.

    Non ergonomic spoon

Overpriced and under quality. Spoons are terrible Go somewhere else and avoid the museum ripoff.

Oh wow, the food in the museum has definitely changed since I've been here as a child, we came for Go for Stacks to see the Space Shuttle for the last time in the museum and of course my kid was I'm hungry. So we ventured towards where I remember was McDonalds' I was happily surprised to see all the food options. We had just arrived before they closed and I thought we would get already made pizza but it was made to order so it was nice and melty for my pizza loving kid. I am so glad we didn't order two pizzas since the individual was big for even my kid to have leftovers. We opted for the Mexican area of food and it was again large in portion and most importantly delicious.

%100 Angus Beef Double Cheeseburger with bacon, side of fries and drink!

Came here for lunch after work. As NHM next door used to have the Trimana Grill. As you see I got the usual! Cheese burger or what is referred to the %100 Angus double cheeseburger with Bacon (Which is extra) and comes with the side of fries. There was no line as it wasn't rush hour. The servers there are very nice and quick! Which I appreciate! Got the buzzer that signals when your food is ready to pick up. Didn't wait long and once I arrive to pick it up the servers kindly asked if I wanted some condiments. It's been some time that I haven't had a nice cheeseburger from Trimana, therefore I enjoyed it! Next time I'll order the chicken strips and or pizza which are very delicious as well. Maybe as a quick snack of course. Also a very reasonable price since you're visiting the Science Center or other neighboring Museums!

    Chicken tenders

Horrible. $12 for three small pieces of chicken? They were so small and for that size i felt like I was being robbed. I asked if they can at least give me another small piece to make up for something and they said they'd have to charge me extra for it. Horrible.

Taco Limon is a must! Every time that we come, we eat here. Food is always fresh and employees are super nice. Ask for Wendy!! She is super sweet! And is always smiling

I've been back at the Science Center many times since my last review but never tried the eateries on the other side. Came through on a random weekday, I decided it was time for a try. I ended up at Pizza Benne/Taco Limon (Yeah, it is ONE place) and debated about either a pizza or a burrito. The only reason the burrito won out is because it's a weekly special! Put in that order with "no beans, no cilantro please?" and it only took all but 5 minutes to get the order out. It came with a side of chips and salsa which was above decent. The burrito, though! The fish was seasoned and fried to near perfection. There was also a proportional amount of veggies. What sorta brought the whole thing down is the fact that both fish and veggies were drowning in too much rice! It might as well have been a rice burrito with fish and veggies. They really need to portion the ingredients better. I ended up having to open the whole thing up and discard some rice. (I hate wasting food!) FOOD: 3. (They can do better! I know it!) SERVICE: 3. No other interaction other than putting in the order and getting paged once my order was completed. VALUE: 3. Although I could have had something better for the cost. PARKING: $15 since it is the California Sciences Center. OVERALL: 3. Really mediocre at best. I almost regret not having a pizza instead... .. and that's probably what I'm gonna have next time I come through.

    Chili and cheese fries
    Susan L.

Ate here for the convenience as opposed to the food. Located inside the CA science center, it's one of your few dining options. What I ate: - Chili and cheese fries: Pretty standard. Chili was flavorful, fries became the right kind of gooey from the chili and cheese. Pretty filling for me Pros: - Right in the CA science center, no need to leave the museum to feed the kiddos lunch. - Menu had a bit of everything, but I don't know about ordering a salad from a place like this. I think I'd opt for their grill items like burgers and hot dogs - They had a small kids menu, which I was thankful for - Price was right - Plenty of seating inside, and a nice patio outside as well - Staff was pretty diligent about cleaning and wiping down the tables pretty quickly. The area was neat and clean Cons: - Not the BEST food in the world. But no complaints. It saved me the trouble of having to pack lunches and lug them around the museum Would I come again? If I was coming to the CA science center and was too lazy to pack lunch, then yes.

I had a very pleasant experience today at the Trimana Grill. I was helped by Ninfa && she was so sweet. I ordered the carne asada fries && the portion was so big. They were really good. I would definitely 10 out of 10 recommend coming here if you come down to the California science center.

    Veggie wrap $17.50
    Tracy K.

I ordered the closest to a vegan option, which is a veggie wrap. Make sure you let the cashier know you want no cheese. $17.50 is really pricey for such a small wrap with very few ingredients. I'm glad I double checked with the cashier because I had ordered the veggie wrap and she inputted chipotle chicken wrap. The wrap also came with kettle chips, a cookie, and a banana. The kettle chips are labeled vegan and it's made in canola oil and seasoning. She helped me check with the kitchen and the fries do not contain milk in it. I also ordered a PB and J ($11) that also included kettle chips, cookie, and a bag of chips. The bread they used for the PB and J was so hard. Not a fan. I found it extremely unsanitary that the cashier wore gloves to not only to push buttons on the register and held onto the pen and the receipt, but she also put the kettle chips into the bags. Management should really go over proper sanitary procedures with their crew.

May 2026 - 2nd Visit…read more A girl broke things off with me today, and yet somehow eating here was the lowest point of my day. I don't understand how this place has won awards. I ordered a double hamburger and sweet potatoes fries bc I knew better than to order the sprouts after last time. And I have to say, the burger outdid itself after last time -- I've easily had dozens of better burgers in backyards. This burger had NO flavor. None. Halfway through eating it I realized they didn't put any effing pickles or sauce on it. WHAT?! How did you forget this?! But still, even without those, are you guys not smashing any season into your burger? I feel like I've discovered a conspiracy on par with the Da Vinci Code, which if I'm honest I'm not sure if that's a proper conspiracy analogy bc I never saw or read da Vinci code. Sucking a ketchup packet would've resulted in a more flavorful dinner. Licking a Hollywood blvd sidewalk for 3 seconds would give you a better sodium intake. But I digress. For health and digestive reasons (bc my digestive system is not really functional) I snuck in a radish to eat post burger. I am not kidding when I say the grocery store GMO Monsanto radish had more flavor than the burger. The sweet potato fries were the "highlight" of the meal and tasted as good as anything you'll get in a grocery store frozen aisle. There's no reason to ever go back.

Very interesting combination it comes highly recommended! We went with curly fries cuz we are from the Midwest and there are no Arby's out here lol but I opted to grab a side of their classic sauce, which ROCKS! It was so good I was pouring it on the last few bites of my burger. Do yourself a favor and get some classic sauce and pour that stuff right on your burger, you won't be disappointed! Check it out!!

If you find yourself in the neighborhood you will realize quickly that it's not the best of neighborhoods. However you must stop by at least once at Hawkins to enjoy some hommade food. I had been wanting to come here for more than several years. Since I knew I'd be driving by them on my way back from visiting someone. I made sure to stop today and try them. There was several people sitting in cars and standing waiting for their orders. They have door dash and all these other delivery options. Most of there orders are delivery. We overlooked the menu and decided what we were going to get. We ordered 1 fat cheese without onions and tomato combo 1 triple cheese burger combo with large chili cheese fries added pastrami 1 peach cobbler The order came to $52. And some change There menu is American, specializing in burgers, but also serving tacos, hot dogs, chili cheese fries, and burritos. Menu highlight is the "Farmer Otis Burrito" (a 2-foot-long burrito) and options with pastrami and hot links. There menu options are huge just keep that in mind when ordering. We waited for our order for about 40 minutes. Remind yourself fresh and good things take time. My burger was so fresh packed with flavors the meat crispy the mayo and mustard on my buns made me wanting more. The pickles were delicious. Now for that triple burger make sure you bring your hunger that's no burger to play around with. 3 large patties just might send you into burger coma. Those large chili pastrami fries are a meal within themselves. We barley put a dent into them and gave up we were full. Now for dessert that Peach Cobbler was deliciously homemade. Only thing missing was some whipped cream. The cinnamon and nutmeg in each bite was mouth watering.
