This place has been here since I could remember. It has a variety of dishes that you can choose from. It is a family owned restaurant, it's very spacious and welcoming. The owners are there from time to time but whether the owners are there or not, their employees are very friendly. Everything is fresh, especially the pizza. Don't expect it to be ready in less than 5 minutes. They are made to order so avoid coming in if you're in a rush or super hungry. On certain days it's the best and closest thing to Olive Garden except there aren't any breadsticks only garlic knots (2 per person). The service is quick and easy to order. I only recommend checking your order before leaving. In most cases my orders are good but on others they mess up or I'm missing an item. Speak clearly over the phone if you do that as well when ordering. The desserts are big slice portions so it's shareable. The pastas were better than expected--fresh ingredients and beautiful vegetables made a nice impression. We also ordered garlic bread just to be safe, since it wasn't clear if any bread was included. They ended up sending a different type of roll, so we ended up with a lot of bread--no complaints, just something to note. One thing worth mentioning: silverware wasn't included, which was a letdown since we had the order delivered to a hotel. It really should be customary to include utensils with delivery--especially when it's clear it's going to a hotel. Prior to ordering delivery through DoorDash, I called Pasta Roma to ask about the calamari. The young lady that answered the phone was very pleasant. I ordered the calamari and beef lasagna. The calamari was too salty to finish with too much batter for the small pieces of squid. I did not like the marinara sauce. The lasagna was a little salty, but decent. I thought the portion was small for the price. The garlic bread could have used more garlic. I love calamari, but I would not order it again based on the saltiness and the marinara sauce. I'm not sure if I would order the lasagna again because I know I can get a larger portion that tastes just as good for the same price from a different restaurant. I didn't expect the salad and haven't tasted it yet, but I know I will have to remove the olives, I hate olives. I haven't decided if I will give them another try. It's near USC. Been a customer for at least ten years. Yes it's fake Italian food, cheap and fast but today I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it was the most disgusting and disappointing one I've ever had. The meat was that filler meat with just beef flavoring. Which makes sense since it's about $16 dollars with tax. I immediately wanted to throw up. It went right into the garbage can outside in the parking lot. The dressing for the side salad was supposed to be a balsamic vinaigrette, but it was all high fructose corn syrup with a thickening ingredient or agent used to make it thicker and creamier only to resemble a vinaigrette. But it's not. Barf. Barf. It looks like there's always new owners. The owner was there today for lunch and you can just observe her and see how toxic and abusive of a boss she is to her employees. When I asked for two more pepperonis she was pouty and signaled to the worker to go get them in an irritated manner. She didn't say Yes I'll get them or any word. She was just angry and had on such a mean face. Never coming back here again. Smells different, looks dirty. You lost a long time customer. Good luck with everything. Great find near USC Greek row! Looks kinda sus on the outside, based on the worn-out sign, and it feels a little cafeteria-esque on the inside, but the food and prices are absolutely superb. First off, the portions are ENORMOUS - could definitely be sharing size or two meals. The farfalle gustaso was a fantastic balance of flavors (mushroom, sun dried tomato, baby shrimp) with not-too-heavy of a cream sauce. The chicken parmigiana was also pretty good and included a hearty portion of grilled veggies and pasta. The bread rolls were a bit dense and flavorless on their own - I think they could've used butter on top - but held together nicely when used for soaking up extra pasta sauce. Service was friendly, so overall a pretty great experience. TL:DR: Bread could be better, but otherwise deliciously large portions. read more

Hello , I ordered food today for delivery when speaking with the girl on the phone I kept telling her I wanted the penne pasta with pesto sauce then when my order got delivered, it was a chicken sandwich with pesto sauce, which is fine but I had just gotten my teeth cleaned and I needed to eat something soft so the bread was a little more on the toasty side, which was fine I'm not complaining about the food really I'm really complaining about the service when I called to let the girl know that she had made a mistake with my order that I wanted the pesto pasta with Penne pasta. She mistake my words for a Panini chicken pesto sandwich but the girl argue with me saying I said Panini sandwich when really I said penne pasta with pesto sauce. I just hung up because she was just arguing with me about what I wanted and I ordered over the phone and they took my card information down and charged me.
