Stopped by Burger District LA, about 10 minutes from Union Station right next to Santee Alley, and this turkey burger did not disappoint. Got it with bacon and grilled onions--simple but done right. The burger was juicy, the bacon had a nice crisp, and the grilled onions brought everything together perfectly. The bun was soft with a light toast, which made every bite hit. Fries were fresh and hot, not sitting around--always a plus. Quick, satisfying, and definitely worth the stop if you're in the area. I'll be back.

Happy Hour meal with an added patty and bacon, no district sauce - $10.96

Located in Downtown LA on a corner is this very small but very awesome burger joint. Man, between this place and Amboy, the residents and workers of DTLA are spoiled for choice when looking for a top notch burger. I am sure that parking can be difficult here many times during the day and weekend, but I found a metered spot right across the street, so it was my lucky day. They have a happy hour special where you get a single patty cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for under $10. You can add to them, so we each added a patty and bacon. We skipped the pickles and District Sauce, which is just their version of the standard Los Angeles thousand island-type sauce that is on In-and-Out and every other burger in town. I always get this on the side, as I prefer ketchup, and was glad I did because I really didn't like their sauce when I tried it with a french fry. The burger itself - which is indicated as halal in case you are interested, is amazing. The meat is such high quality. I was in love from the first bite. For what looks like a dive inside with just like four small tables, seems to be one of Los Angeles' top burger joints. I've wanted to try this for ever and kept putting it off because of my fear of finding parking. Now I'm sorry I didn't go a couple years ago, as parking was easy enough on a weekday lunch time, and I missed out on a good couple of years of delicious burgers. Don't hesitate at all. Just go and try one of their excellent burgers now!

    1. The vibes havent missed since they opened up. 2. The service maintains a high quality every single visit. 3. Last but never least the food. They've been my favorite burger in LA since 2021 and finally got a pic. You can create any burger you want but the menu items like the spicy Cali and the threeefle are my personal go to's and I won't deviate. Everything is good, but it's all about the burgers. The patties, the toppings, and the bun mesh well together each bite and I don't feel like crap after smashing. I'm in here monthly. Judge me then try it for yourself. Don't walk by this spot and not stop in! The turkey burger is a sleeper and they can substitute it on any of the menu items with ZERO drop off.

I highly recommend coming here. It was my first time trying this place. I came right when they opened. The guy welcomed me when he saw me. He was still setting up, but told me to let him know when I was ready. I ordered just a regular hamburger, cause that's how I try new (to me) burger places. They are located at the old Broken Mouth location of DTLA right off, I believe, 8th street. Anyway, the burger was awesome! Everything about it was good! The bun was good. The ingredients are good. The seasoning was good. The texture and flavors or the meat was perfect! Everything came together so well, it made the burger one of the best of SoCal! This is a must try place! Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Burger District in the Fashion District LA is a hidden gem for anyone who loves a truly fresh burger. Everything here is made to order from the juicy beef patty to the perfectly toasted bun. You can taste the quality in every bite, especially the patty, which is rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. The only downside? It's a bit messy to eat. But honestly, that's part of the charm when a burger is this good.Burger District is absolutely worth it.

Very good burger; I would order again, but I have had better. I ordered the Spicy Cali, which wasn't very spicy. DoorDash had a promo for Classic Small Fries: buy one, get one free. The fries were also good, nice, crispy, and lightly salted.

I ordered delivery on this one. I really wanted a burger, but not the after burger feeling. So, I went with a turkey burger with mushrooms and avocado and a small fries which was on sale, 2 for 1, lucky day. I can't speak on the service and ambience since I had it delivered, but the food was so good! The fries were the best I have ever tasted. I actually ate both orders in one sitting. I think it's the oil they use for sure. The turkey burger was perfectly seasoned, not dry at all, and with the added mushrooms and avocado, the burger just fell into perfection. I would drive her to order food. It satisfied my burger craving without the heaviness I usually feel with beef. The next day, I was still full until 2:30pm (ate around 2pm the previous day). It really satisfied my appetite in the best way!

I've heard great things about this burger and since I was in the area, I decided to pickup some burgers for my son and I. Parking was easy since there were several available meters. The restaurant is located on the corner of Santee/9th st in downtown. The ambiance is pretty cool with great art and color. The cashier was extremely patient and helped me decide on what to order. I ordered the District Burger combo. The burger is exactly what I expected. The crunchy bits on the ends and juicy patty. It's a smash burger but, still meaty if it makes sense! I had zero complaints. The burger was perfectly layered with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The fries reminded me of McDonald's fries which is a great thing! I highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat here if you're in the mood for a fire burger.

So, let me mention the not so great-Located in a more quiet corner of Downtown LA, with limited street parking and no restrooms. But aside from that a legit- burger spot. I order a turkey burger combo- sort of turned my turkey burger into something more. I added truffle mushrooms/ Candi carmelized onions, egg sunny side up, mustard. My mom ordered a turkey burger with truffle mushrooms. I will definitely be back!! It was so delicious!

This place is super tiny. Only like two tables inside and a couple outside. I got the surf and turf burger with onion rings. Nothing to write home about. Burger was pretty bland. They did put a nice amount of shrimp on the burger. The onion rings tasted ok. I only ate half and made myself finish the burger. Customer service was ok at best. I asked for one of the tables outside to be cleaned and it didn't happen. The location is it's a bustling area on santee/9th street, so you'll see many weird characters walking around and store vendors everywhere. Parking will be a big issue so you'll be extremely lucky to find a spot. Soo the surf and turf burger, onion rings and a can soda came to $24 dollars before tip. There are waaaay better burger places around down I would rather spend this $ on but try it, you may like it better than me. So glad we stumbled upon this place because it was also near a bunch of other cool spots to try! It is a kind of small shop with maybe 4-5 tables to sit on, so I would recommend getting take out. We were travelling and were only able to eat the burgers a few hours later and it still tasted phenomenal! I was a bit worried that it may not taste as good if it isn't fresh and warm, but I was pleasantly surprised, when everything was still fresh and delicious almost 5 hours later! The servers were very nice and welcoming. They were flexible with the dishes and were open to most substitutions. When we were struggling to decide which burger to order, they kindly gave us the menu with photos of each burger to help us decide! I ordered the chicken aioli burger and it was definitely a hit! It was the right amount of flavorful and was perfectly juicy. The Threefle burger was also great! We got one of the patties on the side to eat later in case the two patties are too filling! They also gave us chipotle aioli sauce on the side for free! Since a lot of restaurants charge for sauce on the side, I was super happy to find out they offer sauce for free! The sauces were also fresh and tasted home made! They also mention that all their food is made to order and they are not a fast food restaurant so it does typically take 10-15 minutes for the orders to be ready. That's still awesome because they are making each burger fresh! Overall, loved this place and can't wait to be back to try their other burgers!

We stopped in on a Sunday around 11:30, no line and very quick service! Finished eating and left around 12:05 so we must've lucked out with no line. We got two double cheese burgers and the loaded fries. The burger had impressively thin patties with a really nice char on the meat skirt, well seasoned, and perfectly crispy. The buns were quite small and a bit smooshed, but they were soft. It came with some fry sauce and pickles as well, overall a good burger. The fries had a good amount of toppings (cheese onions, fry sauce) and were nice and crispy. Kinda wish the onions were slightly more grilled for some extra flavor! Would probably go for plain next time as the loaded fries and burger together had similar flavors The interior has a few benches for seating and single bar type seating around the perimeter - I could see it filling up if there's a big line of people. The Big Mac stays the same. I went to LA to taste, apparently, the best burger in LA at For the Win. I paid $25 for two smash burgers and had high expectations. After all, when you click this joint on Google Maps, a fancy review pops up. Nice! However, when the smash burger entered my cave and caressed my buds, my mind instantly recognized it as a Big Mac. Therefore, my brain could hardly differentiate between a McDonalds burger, and the "best" burger in LA. I haven't eaten at McDonalds in 14 years, but my mind still knew what a gentle and warm face looks like. So overall, it was alright! As the reverend Shane Gillis says "Not Bad". The service was good tho. And the ambiance was a bit weird because the music was off. Haha bye!!!

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. I happened to be in the area, and even though I'd already eaten, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to finally drop in. Irv's originally opened in 1946 as Queen's Burgers, located right on Route 66 on Santa Monica Boulevard in WeHo, and was deeply ingrained in LA's historic car culture. In 1970, Irv Genis bought the stand and renamed it Irv's Burgers, and it quickly became a legendary late-night spot for rock icons like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison. By 2000, Sonia Hong took over, famously hand-drawing doodles on the paper plates alongside her signature slogan, "Just for you." After closing in 2013 and again in 2018, Lawrence Longo partnered with Sonia in 2021 to bring the brand back to life. They've since expanded quite a bit, even opening locations in Malibu and Las Vegas. On a staff recommendation, I ordered Irv's Original Roadside Burger Double ($11.25). Honestly, it was just okay. While a certain amount of grease and salt is expected with a burger, this one crossed the line into being a bit too salty and oily. On the bright side, the sesame bun was excellent, and I loved that they kept Sonia's legacy alive by printing her classic doodles on the tray placemats. While I'm glad Irv's was saved from history and is expanding, the food itself felt pretty so-so. The outdoor tables were also a bit dirty during my visit. I still love that classic roadside burger stand aesthetic with the outdoor stools, but unfortunately, I won't be in a rush to head back.

To say I'm super bummed is an understatement. I am so thankful that I happen to stop by for lunch and visit this location one last time. The same manager was there on the last day as when I went the first time two years ago. The staff there was always amazing, friendly, and the food was incredible. I think it was the Chinatown location that didn't work for them. However, the good news is that they do have three other locations and if you have never been, I suggest you check Kroft out if you love burgers, especially smashed. The other locations are in Long Beach, Anaheim, and Rancho Cucamonga. I wish them luck and I will definitely be stopping in their other locations if I am ever in the area.

Waited another 10min, while I saw other people picking up orders, so I checked in again. Same response, not ready yet. Another 10min passed by, now I'm seeeing people who came after me get their orders before me. Asked the staff again for my order status. The order pick up window person shouted my name to the kitchen each time I checked in. Finally the 3rd time they responded, they start arguing, apparently my order was done a long time ago, and it was given to someone else. It took 30min to figure out that my order had already been done and given to someone else because there was no communication between the kitchen, order staff or pick up staff. no apology, just got my food after the argument 3minutes later...Food was average, definitely not worth a 30min wait.
