The Food Is Legit Deliciousness, The Pigs Tail BBQ was bursting with all the smoky flavors that would leave you craving for more..... The sides of cold mac salad , mac & cheese for the hot is a 10 on craveability..... Overall this place is pure BBQ heaven, service was excellent, The owner took the time to engage w/ my queries and the Corn Soup is a stunning accompaniment on its own level. On the first day of me walking , I saw this place was buzzing people standing on the streets, cars double parked .... I can smell the BBQ aroma even 3 blocks away. But I decided on my second day to take the plunge into this BBQ Paradise of Yumminess !!! I'm definitely coming back this month & will do the Lamb BBQ & Chicken with Fries...... I can only dream of this constantly.

My dinner plate. They also gave me a complimentary soup. That was amazing. I forgot to take a photo.

Food is good, we love the barbecue lamb chops and chicken. The garlic sauce is really good with everything.

Why did I wait so long to come here?!…read more I mean, I know why. It's a bit of a trek from where I live. But I'll happily travel for good food, and Trinciti absolutely justified the journey. As an Indian, I don't say this lightly. I know my Indian food. I was already aware of the historical overlap between Indian and Caribbean cuisines, but Trinidadian food fascinated me. The familiar spices and flavors are there, yet they've evolved into something entirely their own. You can taste the migration story, the adaptation, and the creativity in every bite. A quick practical note because Instagram reels had me misinformed. They do take cards. You don't need cash. Also, parking isn't exactly abundant, and there aren't many nearby places to sit with your takeaway. My advice is to grab a table and eat there. The space itself is small and pretty no-frills, so if you're coming for ambiance, this isn't that kind of place. But if you're coming for flavor, you're in exactly the right place. The setup is simple. You line up, order when it's your turn, and move things along. It's a busy spot, so a little menu reconnaissance goes a long way. The staff are efficient and patient, but they're not mind readers. Asking them whether shrimp or chicken is "better" feels like asking someone whether you should prefer chocolate or vanilla. Both are good. It depends on what you like. We ordered the dhalpuri roti, which is a soft flatbread stuffed with seasoned ground lentils. If you're sharing, ask for it not to be wrapped. Otherwise, it comes rolled up like a wrap. We filled ours with both the curried goat and the oxtail because we weren't there to play it safe. Both were excellent, paired with those comforting, home-style potatoes that soak up all the flavor without overwhelming you with spice. I also couldn't leave without trying the doubles, and we kept it plain. Oh. My. God. Flavor bomb. At its heart, it reminded me of chole bhature's distant cousin. The same comforting chickpea soul, but interpreted through Trinidad's lens with pepper sauces and chutneys that make it unmistakably its own. I honestly think the chutneys are what take it over the top. For the bake and shark though Pay first, take your number, and when they call you up, tell them how you'd like it dressed. Personally, I have a "trust the chef and give me everything" philosophy, so I said yes to it all. The result was a glorious mess of crispy fried shark piled high with pineapple, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and an array of vibrant chutneys that I am still thinking about. They do not skimp on the fish. Watching them assemble it from the front row is part of the fun. Before you leave, do not skip the cassava cake. The raisin dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's entirely personal and worth trying if you have a sweeter tooth than I do. They also sell plenty of snacks and hot sauces, so take a look around before heading out. One final thing I appreciated. They have a restroom and a sink stocked with soap. Trust me, you are going to get messy. That's part of the joy of eating here. If you're the kind of person who side-eyes people for eating with their hands, this might not be your scene. If you're willing to embrace the delicious chaos, Trinciti will reward you generously. I left full, happy, and wondering why I had let distance keep me away for so long. Some places are worth the drive. Trinciti is absolutely one of them.

My first time trying doubles AND my first time in Trincity. The line started all the way outside…read morewhich added to my anticipation. My Trini friend was shocked that I;ve never had doubles and so this day was my lucky day. When you reach, the servers take your order along with as many toppings and additions. They also had bake and shark, bake and saltfish, and other items to choose from such as dhal puri roti, pholourie with tamarind sauce, it was my first time so I didn't go too crazy and wanted to appreciate the essence of the doubles. I would go back again. It is takeout, so don't get too comfy. Make sure you're ready to grab your order and take that first bite after you leave or reach your destination!

If…read moreyou do go, the best things to order are the Guyanese patties (chicken or beef), a refreshing coconut water, and the currant rolls, which tend to be the highlights. Personally, though, I'm not much of a fan of the rest of the food. Those few items stand out, but overall the menu didn't quite win me over. Now you officially have the Supreme Touch

I ordered a curry beef and I took one bite and the inside of my lip was still on fire 10 minutes…read morelater. When I complain, they say there's no way it can be spicy as everything is supposed to be mild. They don't take into consideration that the cook's spice tolerance might be higher due to them consuming a lot of spicy food so they can't tell when they've put too much spice. I could even see the high amount of pepper seeds in the curry compared to the previous times I've gotten it. The chicken curry is also often too spicy. Sometimes you get lucky and the chef working that day doesn't overload it with spice but it's rare. I see unsanitary behavior more and more often. People touching notepads and pens then using the same gloves to touch the fried chicken pieces and plantains. The notepad is on the same place they wrap the rotis. Then the lady taking cash goes to wrap a roti and uses her bare left hand to do it. Same hand touching money all day. The A rating doesn't mean much since restaurants get wind of when the inspector hits other restaurants and just tries to be on their best behavior then go back to being nasty after. Also, they use a shady tactic in which they make you wait longer so the line grows long and the store appears more crowded, making passerby think the store must be good for it to be crowded with so many people. They don't even try to hide it. When you order for delivery, the workers pack the food immediately so it sits there getting cold for 30 minutes until a driver picks it up. ZERO common sense. Today is the last straw that made me never order Sybil's again. I go in near closing and a worker is cleaning the steamtable bins with soap and water. You know how you place the steel containers of food on hot water. So they were cleaning the hot water basins with soap and water right at the table. The worker then uses a dry dirty cloth to wipe the soap clean, obviously there's going to be some dried soap residue still left since it was never fully rinsed with water. I've seen workers in the afternoon taking the stainless containers of food off the table, the dirty soapy water now on the bottom of the container dripping onto the other food as they lift it out. Wow. And you're ingesting parts of that everytime you eat.
