My AC system stopped blowing cold air. I have insurance from Sears. Sears assigned Trinity Climate Control for repair and this is only good thing Sears did. Brian came and found out that compressor need to change. He wrote report and sent to sears. Office confirmed with Sears for repair. Sears told that part is ordered and will ship. Amanda called them every week, I talked with Sears every 2 days. And after 1 month Sears shipped the part to Trinity. They know how long we suffered and put us priority in their busy schedule. Brian installed the compressor. Everything was ok for 3 days. After 3 days Air condition stopped. I left message them on Sunday. Monday morning their owner called and he came. He checked and figured out that fan motor is not working. We called Sears together, and he put his personal effort with office and after 3 days Ashley came and changed the fan motor. I was so thankful to Amanda. She worked very hard to get the part from Sears. Another thanks to Ed (owner), he came to check by himself because all technicians were busy. And thank you to Brian and Ashley. You are very helpful and professional. I am very satisfied with them and would definitely recommend to others. read more

Maybe my expectations were too high for an HVAC company. Two months earlier: furnace goes out on a Friday. Technician is 4 hours late to appointment. Can't get a replacement gas intake valve until following Monday. Shows up late Monday, replaces part. Annoyed at their lack of calling, and tardiness, but otherwise everything's fine. This past week: furnace goes out again Wednesday evening. I submit an AHS report to get someone out to fix it. They assign Trinity again. I decide to give them a second chance. -Thursday: I call Trinity to see when they'll be out. They say between 12-1:30pm. At 3pm, someone shows up, spends an hour diagnosing the problem: bad circuit board. They need to get a replacement board. -Friday: Nobody calls me, I finally get ahold of them and they say they'll be out at 2pm, and they have the circuit board. At 1:30pm they call and say there is a minor snow storm coming so they won't be out until Sunday. I request that they come out on Saturday instead, but they argue that the roads will still be bad, even though it's supposed to get up into the upper 40's. We tentatively schedule a Saturday appointment, and the guy says he'll call me Saturday regardless. -Saturday: Nobody calls me. Nobody is answering the phone. The roads are fine. Finally someone answers and says they have guys out working and he'll call me back to let me know if someone can come out. Nobody calls me. -Sunday: Nobody calls me. I leave 3 voice messages by 3pm asking when they'll be out. Finally get a call, and they show up at my house an hour later. They find out that it's not a bad circuit board, it's a bad gas intake valve. YES, THE SAME GAS INTAKE VALVE THEY REPLACED TWO MONTHS EARLIER. Can't get a replacement part until the next day. They PROMISE that we're the first stop the following morning and they'll be at the house by 8:30am, will be fixed by 9:30am, and they'll call me when it's fixed. -Monday: Nobody shows up in the morning, no promised phone call by 9:30am. By 9:45am, I call and they say they need to check where the tech is and they'll call me back. 10:30am, tech finally shows up. Side note: the technician was smoking a cigarette around our GAS FURNACE. And he left a cigarette butt in our yard. Not cool. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because they are nice to me in person and on the phone (when they answer). Again, maybe my expectations were too high for an HVAC company, but Trinity really needs to get their stuff together. I'll never go through them again. read more

This company was used by my rental company when I rented my home before moving into the Raleigh area. I used them again to put in a new furnace when we moved in because it was not very efficient and 27 years old. It was an up stairs unit which we use rarely, only when guests are visiting. So one year later it would not work, I tried to get a hold of Trinity Climate Control but they are very difficult to reach and have played phone tag too many times. When I did make a appointment they never showed up. Well the problem is according to another HVAC company is the solenoid is not working and the wiring when they installed it is not in an junction box. Which means if it was not before and they installed the new one, they did not care to do the job right the first time. So rather call them to come fix their mistake and possibly screw me again. I called another company to do it right and install a humidifier on my downstairs unit. read more

I called Trinity Climate Control to come out and look at my 20 plus year old unit. I figured that it could not be fixed (not cooling down the house). I had expected to get a price for a new unit but when Ed from Trinity came out he said that it's blowing cold air. He asked when the last time I cleaned the unit was and I said "you need to clean the unit"? Be fore I know it he was hiding off the unit. Mud, pollen, grass clippings came out in droves. Ed then added a bit of freon, told me there was no leak and registered an air temp of 51 degrees coming from the vent (house temp was 69). Ed also checked my furnace and said that was good to go as well. Overall, this was a great experience. Any other company could have said "you need a new unit" without even checking. Ed did warn that it's an old unit and you never know when the compressor will go but for now, it works fine. Total price was less than a hundred bucks and now I can save up for the inevitability of a replacement unit. Thanks to Ed and Trinity for a job well done! read more

It's the middle of December (very cold) and my heating unit dies Saturday night. Called (Michael and Son's) Sunday and they understood the emergency and had someone scheduled to come out that day. Had to cancel b/c I found out we had a home warranty and had to use Trinity Climate. Called Monday morning after leaving one message with mo return call, and they couldn't come out to look at it until Thursday!!?? I understand that there are other people with other problems, but I felt that with my whole unit down my case would be an emergency!! I've worked in customer service for 10+ years and this I feel is NOT acceptable! ! Not happy with them and I wish I could use who I want to instead of this!! My expectations are very high b/c I treat people how I would want to be treated. They seem to not care that much! read more

My AC unit wasn't working properly and because we have a home warranty agreement we were assigned Trinity. I called yesterday and spoke with Amanda, who was very pleasant and had a call scheduled today between 12 & 3. Brian called ahead and was here by 12:30 which was great. Turns out it was the unit's capacitor and he replaced it very quickly. Up and running and just in time for the cold weather on its way!! Tech was very polite and knowledgeable. I was a little worried when the Home warranty company made an appt with Trinity after seeing the reviews here. I'm happy to say that our experience was great! The technician, Brian, called when he was on his way and listened attentively when I explained what had been happening (as women everywhere know, that's not something that women can take for granted!). He thoroughly checked our system, found the problem, fixed it and waited around while the heat geared-up so that he could be extra sure it was working properly. Couldn't have asked for a friendlier guy or a better experience! He was even kind to my 2-year-old who was telling him that she could "fix it" when he was working on the thermostat! read more

This company is difficult to communicate with. Unable to reach anyone via phone, I left voice messages and not one returned call. Sparsely received information via email. I encountered AC issues and my home warranty referred this company. Diagnoses from this company was system needed flush and warranty consider this as maintenance and will not cover. I called two separate other companies because be I was not confident in the diagnosis. Both of the other companies have same findings of indoor coil needs to be replaced and outdoor service valves are severely leaking. Recommend to replace unit due to wear/tear and age, which should be covered in my warranty. But because of misdiagnosis from Trinity Climate Control, any possible coverage will be delayed. This company's customer service is the worst and they are unwilling to address my concerns of their findings. read more

Please run from ever using Trinity Air! The owner Ed will never return your call. After receiving a $417 electric bill, we knew we had an issue. Put the wrong part in our AC and caused stress on the compressor to not work. We have had them work in our unit 4 times and that will be the last. They are the worst AC company in the area. Trinity Climate Control "fixed" our A/C one time previously. Come to find out later that the "fix" involved installing pipes to where we couldn't access our filter in order to change it. They corrected that issue. The "fix" for the original issue didn't last. I called because we were having issues with the same thing again and had to keep calling because no one answered the phone when they opened. Then they said they couldn't handle my emergency today. I asked for after hours service or a recommendation for another company and all of a sudden someone was available to come out immediately. Two people arrived at my home, looked at the issue, then told me it wasn't HVAC related and that I needed a plumber. Rushed in and out of my home in less than five minutes. I decided to call another company, who told me it was HVAC related and that they would gladly come out to see if they could resolve the issue. The other company understood my issue and also let me know what shoddy work had been done by Trinity Climate Control previously. Now I know why they ran in and out of my home so quickly. They did not want to be responsible for their prior shoddy work. In the end, I found an honest and professional company who was able to resolve my issue in a timely manner. I would not recommend this company. Are they cheaper than the company who serviced my A/C today? Yes. The old saying you get what you pay for is true. Excellent Service. I have many rental properties that when a tenant calls with a heating/air issue, they expect immediate quality service. That's why I call Trinity - they typically respond immediately and fix the problem the 1st time. I've tried others but they were always inadequate and did not provide the quality:timely service needed. Also, their service agreement is the way to go when you need faster service. read more

I called Trinity CC because neither of my a/c units were functioning well, and I am SO glad that I did! Pedro (one of the business owners) came and as he worked he carefully explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He serviced and charged both units, and I am ready for his company to do regular service twice a year. His rates were completely fair and worth every cent! Terrible experience. This is the 4th time in a 2 month period of time that they have come out to "fix" our air conditioner. None of the 4 times has our unit actually been fixed. As a usually very easy to please person, I was appalled by the rude behavior I experienced. I understand that it's not fun working in the heat of Raleigh summer- but sassy rude comments should not ever be acceptable. read more
