But I don't recommend if you expect them to do everything according to your manufacturer's recommendations. I brought my AWD Camry in to get serviced. Everything went well except for the part about the drive shaft bolt retorquing. There's a bolt on the drive shaft of AWD Carmy's that Toyota requires retorquing every 10,000 or 15,000 miles / 12-18 months (depending on driving conditions). Toyota service centers do the retorquing every service they do. But when I talked to the service rep at this location, he didn't know anything about it. My point is that you'll probably be happy here if you just want basic car service. But if you want to make sure you get manufacturer-specific things done for your car, take it to the dealership.

I emphasize that the case of overfill was not the fault of the Valvolene staff. I will warn any readers that the 1998 Vortec 5.7 L engine, which the owner's manual says takes 5 quarts of oil, can give an owner fits. I would advise drivers to warn the techs to stop filling at 4.5 quarts, run the engine, wait for the oil to drain down into the crankcase, and then evaluate the apparent actual capacity. I deeply regret any harm my previous review has caused this business. I dropped one star as I felt more optimistic when Brodie was foreman. In this business your comfort level and satisfaction will depend very much on the maturity and professionalism of the staff on duty.
