I've been a huge fan of Trios pizza for many years, BUT I was very disappointed tonight with their wings + potato wedges.. The wings were dinky and wimpy on flavor. The "Spicy Cajun Wings" were not at all spicy, and the "Honey BBQ" were no more than plain, unseasoned wings with a container of honey bbq sauce.. Very underwhelming. Lastly, my "Full" order of potato wedges was a joke. I counted 8 pieces, which makes me wonder what a "Half" order looks like.. At $5 I found that lame. We've ordered from Trios a few times, each time time food has been great! Hearty wraps with whole wheat wraps available. Excellent salads with great add ons (shrimp, salmon, chicken...) very tasty and thin crust white pizza. Only compliant was the potato wedges. They tasted great but we only got four small wedges in our order. read more

I love their pizza. I do not think I ever got a bad pizza from them. The veggie pizza is phenomenal. I never sat down and ate at the restaurant but I can say that its clean and the layout it nice. The outside deck is a nice touch. It seems like they have partial table service. my go to pizzas are the following; The Veggie, The Carne, The Hawaiian. My sister told me about this place last year and now I can't get enough of it. They always have something new and delicious! The owner personally manages the place and cares a lot. He asks you if you had any complaints and THEN really listens [I never have]. I like their pepperoni pizza but my husband prefers their sausage. My little one just wants it plain! I ate here out of convenience, and I had a great lunch! The place is immaculately clean, including the bathroom. I ordered a Blackened Chicken Wrap and a coffee. The wrap had fresh ingredients and an awesome aioli dressing that had a kick to it. The coffee was strong, much better than what I make at home. The staff was also very welcoming. We came here super hungry. Ordered two small Stromboli's that seemed pricey... little did we realize these Strombolis are so big they could actually feed two people! The ingredients inside are so good, and I'm glad I asked for marinara sauce on the side because it's also very good together. On new years day trios was the only place open in the area. I should have gone for a hot dog at the 7-11 this was truly one of the worst pizzas I have ever tasted. They don't sell slices so ended up buying 3 small pies at 15.00 each which is outrageous, we had to explained to the kid behind the register that we wanted a real tomato pie, it seems they call every pizza there a tomato pie which is not the case at all. Avoid this place at all cost. If you want good thin crust pizza go to Jules or trevi and of course there is always good old pizza box. I would go to dominos before ever going to trios again. Great wings! They are small and crispy. Personally that's how I like them. Baked with the sauce on the side. They would have been crispy tomorrow still, but I ate all 24. My wife had a panini and it was also very high quality. The pizza has a style of its own. It's more like gourmet pizza. I could probably eat a whole pie but it is very good. read more

The ingredients in their pizza are very fresh. The entire product as a whole is put together very well, and the work put into creating such a product shows in both taste, and display. We have always been Jersey tomato pie freaks and recently discovered a place called La Villa in Morrisville, Pa, just before the bridge to Trenton. I have a shop right around the corner from their restaurant (and it IS a restaurant, not just a pizza place), and I hold Antionio, and the rest of the gang there, fully responsible for the additional 15 lbs. I've gained over the last 6 months......... All I can say is: "Large Square Calabrese Pizza" OR "Beet Salad, no cheese, w/fried onions"..... Part of me is ANGRY that Antonio and his family opened up so close to me, but the other part of me is thinking, which of the two things written above am I getting for lunch tomorrow........ First time visiting, pizza was very good. We got a tomato pie with eggplant, Invernale and an Ultimate, and all three were cooked perfectly and delicious. Also got a side salad and potato wedges, with were also very good. Only complaint would be that the chicken wings were super tiny, as in bite sized meat on the pieces. Hoping this was a one time deal because of the vendor, because they were cooked very well, just a tiny wing. Overall loved the food and will be back as it is close to our new house. read more

I love this place. My wife and I tend to go here when the kids are away at the grandparents house. The kids are not big fans of the chunks of tomato on the tomato pie. However my wife and I are. Salads are delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. Eating on the deck during the summer adds an extra pleasure to an already great meal. read more

Ordered delivery for lunch on a weekday. Ordered online and it arrived in about 30 minutes-- very fresh! Love that all sandwiches can be wheat wrap, regular wrap or panini. Potato wedges were good as well. Sandwiches came with a large pickle and herr's chips. Will try something else next time-- very impressed. read more

Good pizza, but it's pretty much a place where you order at the counter and hope to grab an inside table if available in such a miniature dining facility that it is, particularly during winter months. I'd say that there are maybe four two top tables, maybe two tables for four people, and the noisy large party table in the back seating maybe 8 or 10 people where when they bring wine to that table ( a BYOB estab), expect the accoustics to be high and obnoxious from who sits there. There are more tables outside for mid April to mid October( warmer months obviously. ) You would think by now the owner would expand given it's success. The other thing is, with individual slices sold, you may walk in and see a plain pie with maybe 2 slices left at 7:00pm on a Thursday. With that said, I asked the young millennial cashier if they were making more and if any fresh plain pies would be coming out. Her answer was, " I don't think so " Within 15 min a fresh plain pie came out as I was ready to leave, finished eating. Suggestion to the dining out novice in Montgomery County : Always consult the owner rather than the youthful staff in any place on questions because they do not know. There have been times though when I have gone in on a Friday evening, in which they will not put out anymore plain cheese pizzas after 7:30pm which is utterly ridiculous. Salads are pretty good here for the price, but you get a very oily , greasy roll along with it and no bread plate. by the way, their pizza that they bring over to you is accompanied by cheap , thin paper plates. When people walk into the restaurant you have no idea if you should sit down and someone will come take your order or you should order at the counter. The girl at the counter did not say anything just looked at us. We took a menu and did not know what we're were suppose to do. And we watched the same thing happen to others. Trio's is a welcome addition to Keswick Village. Not sure what happened with the previous reviewer, but I believe that was their opening weekend. Certainly no excuse for a bad experience, but they have certainly upped their game since then. Terrific thin crust gourmet pies and other Italian specialties. We order from there frequently. The kids love their thin crust plain cheese and my wife and I enjoy their authentic gourmet options. The restaurant is small but nice, clean, and the staff is always welcoming. I have been to Trios in Glenside several times. I work down the street at PITC (a small nursing school) - and we frequently order Trios pizza for lunch meetings for the staff. We all love it. I recommend the thin crust vegetarian pizza and the wedge potato fries are good as well. Whenever I asked the the staff for paper plates and napkins, they were very nice and gave me some. The staff is very friendly as well. The atmosphere is great as well. It's on the second story of the building and there are windows overlooking the main street, Easton Road. Excellent thin crust pizza. Just moved to the area and I was looking for a good pizza place (which ranks right up there with getting cable). Couldn't be happier that Trios is in the neighborhood. I got the Rustica thin square pie to go, and it was perfect. For anyone who truly likes a good pie, I've sampled from many so called "legendary" places... My first impression is that this place is right up there. Baked to perfect texture, with the right balance of sauce, cheese and toppings. It was really nice to find another option for pizza delivery that isn't a mass-produced chain. We always get the Rustica square pie with garlic, mushrooms, and pepperoni (it comes with sausage but they're always nice enough to swap for us). The crust is tasty and not bland. The pepperoni is spicy and there's not too much cheese. This pizza is reminiscent of Trenton tomato pie which is what I grew up with and have a great passion for. The Girard Ave location offers much more on the menu. Pizza was good but the individual specialty slices are much better. Got an order of wings which the online menu says is $5.50 but I believe I paid $6.50 or more them. If I called them average I'd be generous. They are what prompted me to write a review. I walked in before looking for a good pasta dinner and walked out after realizing that they didn't have the same menu as the Girard Ave. location and thought I'd give it a try. This is above average pizza. It is thin crust variety. If you want a thick crust Sicilian style tomato pie you would be better off going to Pizza Box. But the thin crust pizza here is very good, not greasy, and it is made with quality ingredients. I think the price is higher than the run-of-the-mill pizza places in Glenside (Apollo, Luigi's, etc.) but IMO the superior product is worth it. read more
