Came here last night after work and was really impressed with the quality of the food. You come in, order your food, find a table, and the food is brought to you. It's BYOB so that's nice. Prices were really reasonable. Space inside is limited. They have outdoor seating too but we opted to sit inside because the sun was beating down on us. I really enjoyed my caprese panini and slice of tomato pie

    Ultimate (Large) square pie

First time try; been zooming by this place via the 22 bus for years...! The pizza (Ultimate thin square, 16 slices) was delicious; fresh, crispy, flavorful...not oily and greasy. Service was great; ambience casual and low key. Will definitely return to try the other menu items; a welcome change from the usual pizzeria places.

mushroom spinach wrap - wow good!!

May 18, 2023, 3 for lunch - working hard for 4 hours, over 3 miles and many steps dragging a few years of stuff from my daughters off campus housing unit at nearby Beaver College/Arcadia University. We wanted something close but good!! and Italian as my daughter would like. Counter service was a little goofy marching us all up to order but I guess it keeps the personnel costs low. I don't feel the need to tip as well?? There were still many trips to the table etc etc. I dislike having to go and stand in line to then pay the bill as well. Okay quips and complaints over. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen looked perfect. Lots of parking out back. We ordered two slices of tomato pie (four squares?) just to keep us busy. ABSOLUTLY a massive surprise and one of the best couple of slices I have had in years!!! We were in NY/LI for 16 years and now Florida for 1.5 years. The best there was half as good as these slices. I ALMOST went up and cancelled my lunch entrée and ordered the rest of a pie??? BUT my wife said we might come back after graduation if we like the rest of the food we ordered?? The crust, the sauce. the cheese oh my!! 10/10 My wife got the small salmon salad that had a few shrimp. All cooked nicely and served hot. she loved it and the ingredients were fresh and properly cooked. A large portion for a small order, so plenty of food. The garlic knot was nothing special especially after the pizza mega hit. 9/10 My daughter who has been anxious for some veggies after cleaning out boxes of food and canned good for school end.... she got the small craft salad. This thing was very large as well? Hard boiled egg, lots of veggies, fresh and tasty, She loved it and we got another to go for her last night in the dorm dinner/stay. 10/10 I ordered the Porot Nata Wrap on whole wheat, basically a veggie wrap with mushroom sauté greens and peppers etc etc. in a pressed grilled wrap. It was as expected - terrific!!! If I had a complaint it was a little too wet and runny and this sogged the wrap and it was very messy. 9/10 Priced very reasonably, drinks were inexpensive etc etc. VERY nice spot.

The Longobardi with Mozzarella | sausage | provolone | long hots | roasted red peppers | caramelized onions was good. It had a surprising sweet but good flavor. The spicy Cajun wings were OK but I didn't like the meat they used for the drums but the flats were better. The potato wedges were fully cooked but it lacked flavor. Next time we'll get the square pizza but other guests got it and it was bigger.

The Carne pizza. Amazing if you're into meets top-notch pepperoni, excellent high-quality cheese!!

Pizzas, nice and thin very crispy. Nice environment with a beautiful outside deck overlooking Easton Road and what used to be Glenside Weldon school which looks beautiful but the star of the show is the pizza and there's so many different varieties. If you're not in the mood you can get a delicious sandwich and their quick and very friendly. This is a place not to be missed.

    Small Plain Stromboli w/ Pepperoni
    Nick G.

Probably one of the worst Stromboli's I've ever had. It's a day away from Halloween and I'm thinking what I Just picked up at Trios may instead have been one of their decoration props. Actually looked terrible upon opening the box as the cheese was not melted and the dough was pure sog. On top of that the thing was bland as hell. Also ordered 6 wings with the "hot" sauce. Wings were about the size of a baby's finger and, yep, no hot sauce. Pretty underwhelming to say the least. I'm a big fan of a good pie or Stromboli and have been to probably hundreds of places around the Philly/So Jersey area, and Trios easily lands in the bottom tier.

    Dinner & homework.

Clean and comfortable surroundings. Perfect patio to enjoy a meal alfresco with family or friends. Friendly staff. Blow away by the food! Especially at these prices. Byob. I will be working my way through the menu this year.

The chicken parm with manicotti was cooked to perfection. The cheese was ample and melted over the entire dish. The final entrees was the dinner special tomato pappardelle with Dorado and shrimp. It's been a LONG TIME since I've been to a really good restaurant. I would argue there aren't too many around, this is clearly one of them! ANYWAY...this is a charming location with a warm and friendly set up. It's in an unexpected location but very close to the Elkins Park train station. The entry is handicap accessible but likely the bathroom is not. The floor plan is pretty open and they haven't crammed tables and chairs into the space. So the spacing between tables is very comfortable. The pastas are LOVELY. Light (even/especially the gnocchi), perfectly cooked and partnered with very interesting sauces that are beautifully seasoned and topped with very fresh ingredients. The pasta is complimented and not overwhelmed. The appetizer was creative and delicious (baked peach with burrata over asparagus). The dessert was crazy unique and felt like a delicious hug (chocolate cake with strawberry and blueberry topping-trust me it is a must!). Great place for a romantic meal or a special occasion. Their prices are pretty consistent with everyone else but the preparation and presentation are superior. I'll be back for sure!

I made a reservation and selected that we were visiting for a celebration and wanted a regular table, not a high top. When we arrived we were escorted to the bar side of the restaurant and brought to a high top. The hostess was happy to move us to a nearby regular table when I mentioned it, which we were happy about. We started with cocktails - a white sangria and one of their signature cocktails - the orange blossom. Both were presented nicely and really good. For our apps we opted for the pizza bread with pesto and calamari. I don't like calamari much, but my bff loves it. However, I ended up having 3 pieces because it was so good. The pizza bread wasn't what I envisioned. It was a very thin, almost flatbread like texture, with a thick layer of pesto. I should have opted for the tomato topping instead. For our entrees, we did the make your own pasta dish with gnocchi, grilled chicken, peas, and a Rosa sauce, the chicken piccata, and a side of the parmesan roasted potatoes. The gnocchi was the standout here. It was pillowy, light, and so flavorful with the Rosa sauce. I could have eaten the whole thing. The chicken piccata was a little strong on the lemon side and the sauce needed to be a bit thicker. If it was served over pasta I think it would have taken it up a notch. The crispy parmesan potatoes were a hit. They were seasoned very well and delicious. They have a selection of desserts as well, but we decided to skip this time around. Our server was hustling and did a great job checking in on us. The establishment feels more like a nicer pizza place than a date night spot, but I'd go back for the gnocchi alone.

I visited for the first time (definitely won't be my last!) on Sunday evening with a few girlfriends. The area is popular due to the Keswick Theatre being nearby, so I definitely recommend a reservation. Every dish here is authentically Italian and made from scratch. It's a BYOB establishment and gives off an early 2000's Tuscan vibe. Props to our waitress, Chelsea, who didn't miss a beat. She made the dining experience so enjoyable. I was with friends that are regulars at Trevi, and she remembered what they typically order. It's clear she genuinely enjoys her job and goes above and beyond for her customers. Our group ordered a few appetizers to start - the Brussels sprouts and fried burrata ravioli were great options for vegetarians like me. The Brussels were seasoned nicely and the fried ravioli was crispy. I highly recommend the eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was thinly sliced and breaded. I asked for spaghetti on the side and it came with the perfect amount of sauce. Chelsea also stopped by with a cheese grater and sprinkled some cheese on top. We couldn't leave without having desserts and there were plenty of those to go around. I personally couldn't wait to try the banana gelato and I was not disappointed one bit! It was thick, creamy and full of banana flavor. From the food, to the service, to the customers, everything you encounter at TreVi is wholesome. The energy inside just makes you feel at home. I look forward to dining here again soon!

The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

I called for a reservation on Sat. afternoon for that evening. Was told to come at 5:30pm (!) because they were going to be crowded later. No additional customers came to be seated outside. A handful of customers arrived for dinner after 6pm. When we asked why we were told to arrive so early, the manager said that the kitchen gets crowded, so they have to limit the number of customers to not "overwhelm" the chef. But at 5:55pm, there were only 3 couples inside and we were outside. We think that it may have been a simple mistake, but we will never know. The second problem is that for the last two Saturdays there, they have been hosting a daycare center (?) with several kids running around pretending to water the plants, playing with the hose, etc. for over 1 1/2 hrs. The outdoor dining area was soaked. Not optimal for a Saturday evening dining with a fine wine. Also, the outdoor music speaker was broken for at least 2 weeks. No music to enjoy. Just the screaming kids. Lastly, our check listed prices that were higher than those on the menu. Normally, we would not have even paid attention. But we were so unhappy already, we asked for a menu. Perhaps we were mistaken? No. We were told that they are raising their prices, but the new menus were not yet printed. We suggested that, to avoid further confusion, they simply charge the prices that were listed on the menu. And this is where the worst insult came in for us. The manager said that if we were worried about a few dollars, then we were......(cheapskates was implied, not spoken). We didn't argue. We wished them well. For several years we have enjoyed La Piovra and before that the Trattoria Sicilian. The food is decent to very good, and the atmosphere had a relaxing, European feel. It has now turned into an active daycare on a Saturday night with an insulting, fundamentally dishonest manager. And an honest apology would have sufficed.
