Love this place!! Excellent, fresh, creative food. Salads, burgers, chili. Yummy food that pairs well with menu selections.

16oz can fills 1 1/4 pint glass? Menu board says 16 oz draft beer. Closer to 13 oz. Change the board. Don't lie!
    Robert N.

Great beer selection BUT... I asked twice if the pints were 16 oz. The beer menu on the flat screens says 16 oz. so I ordered a Barley Brown and it went fast. Next beer was a 16 oz. tall boy and low and behold, filled to the brim the Van was still 1/4 full. The owner was at the bar when I cashed out and I asked him if they were 16 oz. pints and HE said they were. I informed him that they were 13.5 oz. and they needed to change their beer menu boards if they were going to serve Cheater pints.

Burger Week 2017, Mac N Cheese

----- Burger Week 2017 Review ----- 5th burger of the week: "Dry" This was severely disappointing. From the pictures from the Burger week site, I was really looking forward to this mac n cheese burger, but in reality it ended up being very dry, both the burger, the mac, and the bun (which was all that was on the burger). There was nothing but carbs, cheese, and meat on this; normally that probably wouldn't have been an issue, but the burger was overcooked, the mac n cheese was dry, and with the bun it was just very poor quality. Hopefully this is not representative of their normal quality, or other items.

Definitely a locals pub. Came here on a Saturday night, and it was popping. Super crowded. My friends and I came here to play pool, since they have many pool tables. Beer selection is decent. It's not a super clean place and has a divey feel.

Long tables for large groups. Pool tables and dart area.

Love the chill vibe. Staff is eager to please and the food is tasty! Get the fried pickles, quesadilla, and Mac n cheese! Well curated drink menu on screens. Perfect for gathering friends and having a great day. Huge TV!

Specific a burger week 18 review, and it was very good! The great peanut butter slaw on a burger kept it sweet with the salty and being it was slaw and not just a blob of peanut butter, it was thinner and not chewy. You got the flavor without your mouth getting stuck together. A very good beer selection, wide variety, and drinks for any taste. As well as a bottle selection for even more options.

    Mediterranean plate, it's so yummy

The Mediterranean plate was amazing. The food here is actually pretty great you have to try it. Great staff, great place , great time, thank you

    Pool tables are well maintained

Great spot for playing pool or darts. They have three pool tables and they are all well maintained. The darts have been moved from the back wall to a side wall, and there are only two boards now. These are real boards with metal tipped darts. They do have an old plastic tip machine near the back patio as well, if that's you're thing. The beer selection here is top notch! They have a ton of taps to choose from and I am always able to find a few things I really like. They've got a decent bottled selection as well if you prefer. Food here had never disappointed me, but to be fair I've usually had 3 or 4 beers by the time I order it. I agree a burger here for burger week while not drinking however and it was amazing and juicy. They also have a bunch of events going on. Dancing, trivia, themed nights, and parties help it to never feel like the same experience twice. I've been coming to this place for years and I don't see myself doing any time soon. Hopefully I'll see you there!

If just we all looked this good playing pool.

Wow! The sweet and spicy mac is to die for! It leans on the very-spicy side, and my lips were on fire, but it was deeeee-lish!! If you can handle Sriracha sauce or Taco Bell fire sauce, it's all good. The spicy tots aren't quite as firey, but uber tasty as well. This is clearly a local dive bar - one every neighborhood needs. The kind where the wait staff doesn't have Hipster "You can wait" attitudes. I was here for a friend's surprise birthday party and the location was chosen because its her favorite hangout. The food, drinks and service is what kept me there. They have pool tables for the person who can't sit still, as well as pinball machines. The loud crashing noises comes from the gigantic Jenga pieces and players not "Winning". I'm not a bar fly but would definitely go back for the food.

Does the Triple Nickel get the Pac-12 network? I don't see an active website or Instagram to message the bar.

    Are they dog friendly inside?

Do they still have pool tables right now during covid?

    Yes! Just called.

If you canceled the lease on Playdate PDX and are reading this, don't steal my idea, you prick. Anyway, I digress. Potato jojo wedge. Back to it. I brought home some as leftovers three months ago and my eight year old is still tunneling through them like she's a mole dropped into some f-ed version of Candy Land. Look, I know the fine bartenders here promise chicken and jojos the same way cable promises service: it'll arrive somewhere between the hours of 6 and 10:00 PM. But sit your ass in the chair, get a PBR and wait. Because, much like the bygone era of cable, when the boob shows up uncensored, late at night, and wrapped seductively in paper and BBQ sauce (don't judge me! You tuned in too!), you weren't thinking of the guy with the extra long butt crack and ill fitting button up. Oh no, my friend, you were thinking about the sauce. BBQ, ranch, sweet chili, . . . or ketchup (you immature shit).

The fried chicken hits the spot and the staff is very friendly. It was great seeing 2 people working instead of just 1 person doing everything. My order was affordable too once I closed my tab. Old Portland for the win once again and will continue to support, cheers!
