Came here on a Sunday to celebrate my birthday along as catch a Ravens Game w/ some friends. Let me just say a time was had! Prior to going, i made reservations on open table , which was fairly easy. Upon arrival checking in with the hostess, getting out table took all of 5 minutes. Our server was great. The only semi gripe i would have is that the wait for the food was ridiculously long. At one point we ordered egg rolls (which were AMAZING)nd it took 45mins to get. It seemed like every time we saw an order come from the kitchen it went to another table . Decided to come for the offers for HH and stayed for the fresh moist boneless wings Our server was really nice and although they don't have happy hour menus, she explained everything that was included since this was their second official Taco Tuesday. She had recommendations and didn't steer us wrong. My friend wanted to try their Loco Moco Bowl since the last time she had one was in Hawaii. The gravy is what can make or break that dish and surprisingly, she said she really enjoyed it. We come here quite often for happy hour. Although the offerings have changed over the past year, it is still a good place to get half price apps and discounts on drinks and beer Monday-Thursday from 5p-7p. The wait staff is always so engaging and they never rush you to order. New for us this time was the boned-in wings, which were off the half price menu during HH, but now are $1/piece per 4 piece order. We got the Thai chili and they were delicious. We also got the nachos, which used to be served in a half sheet pan, but have been reduced to a large platter, which is still enough for two so we're were disappointed (and they are half off too!) We got the well drinks with a mixer (tequila and pineapple juice) for $6 and it provided what it was suppose to...lol. My husband and I visited Sports & Social Maryland on Friday for a friend's SURPRISE engagement party. Admittedly, I do not frequent Maryland Live. In fact, I have only visited the casino twice since the doors were opened. But I really enjoyed myself on Friday and I am glad that I was able patronize this business. The restaurant/bar is conveniently located just a short walk from the main entrance, right in the middle of the action. The bar has many large screens and plenty of comfortable seating. We were seated in a reserved section, so our party had more of a personalized experience. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. They certainly earned every bit of our tips! I will say, the drink service was a tidbit slow, but I chalk that up to the large party in our section. The food was very good and the drinks were nice and strong. If you're looking for something quiet and intimate this is not the place to go BUT if you are looking for something lively, good music and the current game on the screens you have just found your place. We seated ourselves, and waiting for a server, the server did acknowledge us initially but it took a while for her to return to actually take out order. It seemed about only 2 servers to and maybe 1-2 bartenders so her speed makes sense but overall the server was nice and made sure our food came out timely once ordered. My mom isn't a drinker so she had a coke and myself a water, I think because it was so busy she might have forgotten to give us refills or maybe there wasn't refills at all. Who knows because we had to ration out drinks lol. Food is mid and service is hit or miss. We've had to go to the bar to order drinks, but we've also had attentive waitresses. The only pro is the TVs, it really is a great venue to watch sports. Drinks are fine but get the bottled beer. I'm not sure if they don't properly clean taps, but the draft beer is always a little off. read more

This place is inside Maryland Live. Came On a busy Sunday evening. While they had football game on along with basketball and tennis on other screens Was hard to find a seat. So we stood for a while Then we finally got couple chairs. Here is why 3 stars. But let me start with pros: You can watch games and bet at the same time. Kiosks are right around the corner. Atmosphere was very nice. Definitely the sports vibes. And very engaging crowd. Clapping. Cheering. Etc. nice Now to cons: Before we sit down - recliners where people left are looking dirty and no one cleaned any tops. We sit down. The bartender seems busy. He takes his time to remove old cups. Never cleans countertop. He didn't offer water and took another 15 min to just get an order of drinks. The whole time if felt like he was doing is a favor. Then we finally order food And when it came out. It looked great. But it tasted awful. My Korean salad was lacking flavor. Dressing was like sweet and sour but terrible version of that. Hardly any cucumber or scallions. Broccoli was ok but not salad friendly. Cabbage was not good. I asked for shrimp. That was the only ok tasting thing. I left the salad almost uneaten. Turkey club wrap. Was just as bad. Looked great but super dry. Lettuce bitter. Cheese had weird texture. Just cannot recommend the place Just go if you want a drink and watch games. My food and drinks have been phenomenal. The way that the servers and the bartenders greet you as well as address your personal needs. And I'm a very particular person has made me feel completely Welcomed. This is our second time visiting. The first time we were there for a Ravens game and this time we were there because of a friend's surprise engagement party. The food both times has been delicious. The staff there is always friendly and does their best to keep you smiling . But be warned , getting a cocktail can take a minute. We came on a Monday afternoon and were basically the only ones sitting at the bar. So, I can't complain about the service which was fantastic. I got the cheeseburger with bacon. I requested medium and it actually came out medium! The burger was delicious and the hot crispy fries was great. This replaced the stage area where they had bands playing but I can see why they did it. The sportsbook kiosks are located here and I love the huge screens throughout the place. Myra was the absolute worst. She not only took down our initial orders wrong, and had to be corrected when she read it back, but she still ended up getting it wrong. It took almost a half and hour to get an order of pork tacos, which she came back and then said they were being remade (because either she forgot them, or the staff did). She forgot drinks, and never even brought a drink menu to our table, though we asked twice. We ordered the Patron margarita tree which was a 56 dollar drink, and she brought it to us in regular cups, and said that they didn't have anymore of the small patron bottles that it was supposed to come in, but there were tons of them still on the counter behind the bar. We had just watched one get served before we ordered it, and were planning to share it between the group, but couldn't because she brought them in individual glasses, with ice in them. We had to walk up and get a drink menu about 45 minutes into our meal. By this time she had an attitude and was barely visiting the table. We asked for water, and she came back and slammed them on the table, and kept going all in one motion. We spoke with the floor manager, but he was little to no help. After he spoke with her she still did the same thing. Basically avoiding us, or moving so fast that we couldn't stop her, or only walking our way when she had her hands full, or hanging out in the back/far side of the bar. She never checked on the table or asked if we needed anything. She got to the point that when we did ask for something, she had someone else bring it to our table. We were here watching the NCAA final four games, and so we came here knowing we'd be staying longer than usual. So we already knew we were about to drop a bag, because i'm not the type to hold a table hostage and keep a server from making money. Her service with other tables was night and day. She smiled, and was pleasant. Funny thing is that the tables she was breaking her neck for were talking trash about her between groups we were seated near, and had she just fixed her mistakes with us and kept a professional demeanor we would've definitely took care of her when the check came. However, This lady was just dead set against serving us, and in the end she didn't. The crappy thing is that we just had to endure it, because we weren't about to go find another restaurant mid game. It would've been impossible to find a table as good as the one we had, and there was a 2-3 hour wait for it in the first place. She ruined the whole night on top of my squad losing, and me having to watch the game at a bar sober, when we wanted to drink and have a good time. It's sucks that this lady refused to be professional, as if we were the ones making the mistakes in the first place. The service was so horrible, that I won't even review or share my opinions of the food that we did receive. This was our first time coming here, and as of right now I don't see myself wanting to return any time in the near future. How do you have service like this in a casino? like really? read more
