Still love Trixie & the coffee BUT... The 2 new girls she's hired and now mostly serve when I come by are a complete let down. They are cold, rude, fake and just too childish. And don't dare comment if your drink is made incorrectly because the fake smile turns into an ice cold scowl and its rude-Ville from there. I even saw one use a dirty utensil (I suppose a f-you to me) for redoing my drink. Sucks I had to just take the loss (and risk of getting sick) as I didn't want to cause a ruckus and even if I did want to say something, there was No one to report it to. Trixie I'm sorry sweetie but I've tried going back to give you guys another chance and these "ladies," are just a mess. Its too much to try and come by to catch you to avoid their service. I guess its on to find another coffee place. And FYI twice I've sat with other patrons outside (away from the 2 girls earshot) and their opinions have been similar. Point is: its not just me. If they act this way with me and a few others, they're acting this way with most if not all your customers. That = lost business for you. So glad we tried this place. It was hard to find/easy to drive my on 105. The building next to it says "INSURANCE" and its before the medical/dentistry lot followed by the magnolia diner if you are coming from Walden to 105. My parents live ten minutes away and we were visiting (my brother and I from Houston). We like to try little coffee shops. We were hesitant in Montgomery where there's not a ton going on or a lot of competition. Trixies was GREAT. 1) like other reviewers have said Trixie is personable and straight up awesome! I was impressed how well she knows her customers and how much she chats with them while also being extremely efficient with tons of business! 2) the coffee was so good. I got the "Kim" breve honey latte (perfect and not too sweet at all! Creamy and frothy!!!). My brother tried the raspberry mocha (hot). Both of us really loved our drinks! The coffee/espresso is TOP NOTCH. We will be back! read more

This was my first time going to this place and I loved it! The owner helped me and suggested some of the favorites. I got the blackberry white chocolate frappe with coconut milk! Stopped by here via Yelp reviews, although I failed to noticed Yelp said they were closed. A very nice woman, assuming possibly Trixie herself, saw me driving off and stopped me asking if I wanted a cup of coffee. She quickly ran inside and came back with a very good cup of americano. I wasn't having the best day, but as soon as I walked into Trixies I was invited by a warm comfy environment, the two girls working there presented me with a warm kind smile and asked me how I was doing and how my day was, and as an experienced barista myself I hate to admit it but I think these girls are better than me lol. Have been back a number of times and yes they have made mistakes before but nobody is perfect and they're happy to remake it! These girls and among other baristas are not "fake" or "childish" as some might have reviewed before and honestly don't see how they could ever be perceived as such, just because they can't give you a smile all the time when they're working doesn't mean their cold or rude lol they're just focused on bringing you the best drinks I've ever had! Came in to try the coffee shop out. The atmosphere was nice ordered some drinks for three kiddos and myself. I had a cappuccino and ordered banana bread and drinks for the kiddos. The banana bread was not very good taste wise usually it's my children favorite my cappuccino was not enjoyable either. But it could have been the day . Maybe we'll give it another try. read more

This is 100% hands down the BEST coffee I've EVER had!!!! I know there are some reviews complaining about the prices... it's top quality coffee, it's going to cost more than McDonald's. However, they are actually cheaper than Starbucks! I pay $5.03 for a medium at Starbucks and only $4.88 at Trixie's. They roast their own beans right there at the shop and the smell is heavenly. I personally am in love with the cold brew coffee with half and half and vanilla. It is so creamy and delicious without being too sweet. I cannot enough say good things about this place or the people that run it. They are so sweet and so friendly. They actually care that you love you drink and dont want you to leave without fixing it, if you don't. They'll also recommend good drinks if you're not exactly sure what you want. I love Trixie's and highly recommend them to EVERYONE. My only suggestion is to be careful if you're driving a big truck through the drive through. You have to go through a smaller old bank drive thru stall thingy and I have to hold my breath and carefully maneuver, when I do... it fits, just suck it in and you'll be ok ;). read more

We have a number of poor coffee quality (burned bean taste) Starbucks in Montgomery, Tx and I've opted for Trixie Coffee since it is better. To my surprise, Trixie was running the shop in person and sold me inexpensive coffee that wasn't burnt (like Starbucks) and the atmosphere felt more communal and warm. I have been traveling the U.S. On my motorcycle for the last month. I am from the coffee capital of the US Seattle :) and I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur/ snob. trixies rivals or beats the best of the best. It is a charming shop with great people and wonderful service. The coffee is of the finest raw beans and custom roasted by the owners themselves.
