Purchased a vehicle As Is. I was pretty iffy about it. I should have listened to my gut. Two months later I find out I have to replace the transmission. Brought the vehicle to a trusted shop and he told me they should have known the transmission was on its way out. Be cautious! I certainly wouldn't recommend. read more

My wife and I recently bought a vehicle from Trolley Square and love it. It was priced well and everything we were looking for. When I went to inspect the vehicle, it had a small oil leak from the gasket on the oil pan as well as the front passenger side mud flap was messed up. I addressed these issues with Carl during my inspection and they were fixed before we came back to pick the car up. The entire staff is very professional and personable, which was refreshing to come across from a dealership/repair shop. I would both recommend and buy from them again. read more

Beware of this place just like Marquel D. wrote. They will sell you anything that they can make money on and don't care whatsoever about the customer. They fit the slimy used car salesman persona to a T. I would never recommend them to anyone. My experience was that they did not provide full disclosure of the cars condition when I bought from them. Found out they reset the engine light that came on after ~80 miles that its leaking oil. Further inspection found that the engine timing is off and is an indication of further engine problems. Then there is the slight wobble at 35 mph then disappears they said a wheel alignment would fix it, but the truth is that both front tire rims are bent. I plan to sell the car in the spring before the engine dies. Luckly, I have a short commute to work, and it hopefully should survive the winter. Stay away from this place and do your homework. They got over on me and don't want to see it happen to YOU TOO. read more

BEWARE!!! Bought a car from this place exactly 2 weeks later on a Monday check engine light came on ! Same day went to have them look at it they insisted I make an appointment made an appointment for that Friday , the woman at the desk scheduled me for the following Friday !! I then had to wait almost 2 weeks because she couldn't schedule me properly. With that said I had to drive a new to me car that's very shaky imagine buying something that's no good from the beginning horrible feeling ! When they get the car said it could just be spark plugs or ignition coils they changed those parts engine still came on as soon as I started the car when I picked it up! Brought it back they wanted me to wait another week to have them bring it to the dealership they didn't want to fix the car and have it run like it should when you buy a new/used car at I got the car today long story short the check engine light is still on nothing they want to do about it ! Bad business if you don't want to feel like you're wasting you hard earned money please don't buy from them ! Brought my car to be fixed because I had the SRS airbag light on. Although only the dealership has the technology to reset the sensor, he was still such a great help. He wasn't trying to take advantage of my money, in fact he didn't even charge me for checking it out. He also went the extra mile to putting a screw in the side piece to my drivers seat. I have had a great experience getting my car fixed at Trolley Square Auto Group. The people there are all great and understanding people that aren't ridiculous like most repair shops around. In terms of repair costs, they are very generous and will definitely be much better than any other dealership maintenance costs. I really do appreciate their shop and them as people. AMAZING USED CAR GUYS!!! Not sure what happened with these other guys but I had a great experience with Greg. I drove up from NY to purchase a vehicle. When I arrived, everything was exactly as discussed over the phone and in pictures. When I walked in, he was surprised because I'm assuming most people that say they're coming from another state, usually don't show. I used Trolley Square to repair my BMW, their service was always great, and price was fair as well. They completed the service on time. I used them for years. I just recently bought a used 2011 BMW from them this year. The BMW was perfect in every way. I brought the car for a free inspection to BMW of North Haven, you know how critical they are, and they found no problems. They also wanted to know where I found such a sweat deal. By the way I paid a fair price and they took my old BMW in on trade. You cannot go wrong with these guys. read more

Stay faraway from this place worst people you ever want to meet. I bought a care from them in oct 2017 everything was fine unti not long after had problem with heat took it in very low on antifreeze father filled it up. With less then 1000 miles on it had no antifreeze again called and that was the start of his rant. I'm a senior citizen and cancer patient so I need my car. This ignorant man screamed and yelled at me and would not let me speak i can't tell you what the things he said to me he is the lowest person I have ever meet. Nice until you need service and it's when they feel like doing it and tie up car for days and don't even look at it. God forbid you ask why then the rants begin. Save your self the aggravation!! I'm not sure where some of the negativity in the other reviews is coming from, but absolutely no complaints here.... pleasant, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and no pressure...drove an hour to look at the car I was interested in (and purchased)....the vehicle was clean (like showroom, brand new clean) and as advertised.... while reviews are helpful to a point, you really need to go and see for yourself....I would have missed out on this amazing car had I gone by the negative reviews... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I overpaid for my 2004 Lexus ES 330. I was assured it was because the car was in great shape. For what I paid for the car there should not have been anything wrong with it. They did inform me the volume knob on the radio did not work, but that they would replace the radio. They told me the car would be ready Tues. late Mon afternoon I called to comfirm it would be ready next day, they said it would. I took Tues off work. Tues they said it would be ready in a few hours, wasn't ready, then they said 30 mins, wasn't ready, won't be ready til next day. Was told it was at the stereo shop even though I said the radio could wait, I need the car asap. Finally ready around 5pm next day. I find out they signed me up for some $189 extra protection plan they didn't even ask if I wanted. Almost immediately noticed steering is unresponsive, loose, and the front end wanders. Also, the left rear window doesn't roll up/down, and the cig lighter/charging outlet doesn't work, and the radio still doesn't work despite being at stereo shop for over a day. For what I paid NOTHING should have been wrong with it. Also not sure how they didn't notice these things in the "rigorous inspection process". I take it to them a couple days later so they can look at it. Greg Sr comes out and is immediately rude. Goes over to car, shakes wheel, shakes head. We drive a few hundred feet down the road and he says there's nothing wrong with it. I try to further explain problem, he tells me that Toyota/Lexus power steering is really sensitive and responsive. It barely feels like you're turning the wheel, it's supposed to be like that. He then pulls into parking lot, gets out, further tries to bs me. I insist there is something wrong and ask "is this how this is going to go?", he says "yup". I say, I'll drive us back, he refuses to allow me to drive my own car and gets in drivers seat. I continue to try and explain the problem, he raises his voice and says there's nothing wrong with it. He then pulls over, gets out, tells me to never come back to his shop, and walks back. I guess this grown man, this supposed professional, could not handle someone calling him out on his bs. A few days later I take my Lexus with the Mark Levinson premium audio system, a $1000 option, to the place they set me up with to replace the radio. They replace my 7" lcd display w/nav, 6 disc cd changer, amplifier, and subwoofer with a cheap, hideous, gaudy, bright, obnoxious, unit that retails for $109.99. The radio is not hooked up to the amplifier, cd changer, or subwoofer. It is cheap and not a comparable replacement. It was also poorly installed and looks terrible. Stay far far away from Trolley Square, And their dishonest, shady, and deceitful business practices especially Greg Sr and Jeff. They are the lowest of the low, they will rip you off. They are liars and theives. Once they have your money they don't want to ever hear from you again. They do not care about their customers or their customers satisfaction. read more
