So, I verified that he did put full synthetic and he said yes and that he always puts a 3000 mile sticker on the windshield. That is deceptive right there. I had bought two Groupons for this place and just hoping I'm being too negative, I went ahead and brought 2nd vehicle in today. The owner said that the Groupon is for semi m-synthetic oil. I explained that it states synthetic. He said yes, semi-synthetic. That's not ok. Even on the Groupon page under highlights it says they offer conventional, semi-synthetic and synthetic. My Groupon is for synthetic. Now I am pretty sure he didn't put full synthetic in the 1st car. I just left and got my money back from Groupon.

First, this is the second time I've brought my vehicle to them and it has popped up on carfax that they serviced the vehicle with an oil change when they didn't. I had spark plugs changed and it included an oil change that never occurred. This messes up the carfax with bad information and it's not easy to fix. When I mentioned it the first time they asked me to email them about it and acted like they had no idea how it could have happened, but the issue hasn't been fixed and continues to happen. Secondly, I paid these guys nearly $800 to diagnose and fix a cylinder misfire, but less than a week after leaving the shop and the issue is still there. Which tells me that they didn't truly diagnose what was causing it, but instead threw parts at it hoping that it would fix the issue. After I called to let them know that the check engine light came back on and was throwing the same code the answer I received was "it's probably a good idea to sell your vehicle". Are you kidding me? Them taking some responsibility for not fixing my vehicle after I gave them nearly a grand to do so seems like a more appropriate response.

Fortunately for us when we pulled off of I-35 This Car Shop was right there. They were so kind as to put our car up on the lift immediately and two mechanics looked up under our car. You could see where something had impacted our undercarriage in several spots and luckily for us, the impacts were not on any soft or moving parts, but only on hard metal. I was so thrilled and was happy to pay a bill. They would not take any money from me. Now who does that! I am most grateful for the peace of mind that we could continue on our travels without concern. If I lived in the area, I would be happy to take our cars there for service.
