Syed at Trophy Towne was the MVP of our team's end of year dinner banquet last week. I'm the owner and director of Brooks Debate Institute in Fremont, CA. I coach 100+ students, mostly local middle schoolers from Hopkins Jr. High, and every year our team ends the season with a team dinner evening at Dave & Busters. This year I wanted to give out some some end of the year awards and honors and was originally planning to just print certificates. The morning of our event I decided to see if I could get some nice plaques and medals same day and found Trophy Towne on Yelp just down the road. I showed up to their office just after 11am and asked if it was possible to get custom award plaques and 7 medals made by 7:30pm-- that I hadn't even designed yet. Syed said he could do it and somehow performed a miracle for us. I went home, downed a Red Bull, and designed all 22 plaques and 7 medals. I sent the very last image files over to him at 4pm. Poor experience. I've done promotional items for over a decade and was hoping to receive better service. I had to do the mock up vision myself and instead of the company taking my idea and perfecting it, they slapped the engraving on my Yeti without aligning it properly, so it looks crooked. As a professional promo company I expected more than I recieved and paid quite a hefty fee between the Yeti and the customization. When I brought it to the workers attention he went back and forth with me about why it wasn't a big deal which I eventually shrugged off and left. After leaving I received a text from the owner basically reiterating what the worker was saying to me which was excessive given I had already footed the bill hours before for work I was not happy with. Bad production and customer service overall. I wish I would have taken a photo of the final product to show the misalignment but I didn't. read more

Even though we had a tiny hiccup with our project, Trophy Towne was a fabulous partner and I highly recommend!

Seems like a small mom and pops place but very messy and unorganized. The man there is very nice but if you take someone's expensive order for etching and don't take down their number to let them know the etching print is size 8 on a large item and etch it anyways that's going to piss people off. Please confirm what you're doing on these items, especially if it's a high priced item and there's no way to undo it. read more
