Delicious bbq (ribs are off the chain), sides and desserts. Everything is made with love and attention to taste! The Mac n cheese alone is worth our 1.5 hr drive from Braselton.

This is what is shown on their website.

Food was very good, would eat here again. However, the burnt ends aren't burnt ends. They're chopped brisket with sauce - clarified with the staff and showed the picture they have one their menu which is different from what is served. It was the least favorite thing we ordered. The sweet potato crunch was delicious, as was the mac and cheese. The sliced brisket was moist and tender. We ended the meal with the peach cobbler and it was runny and undercooked. Would not order it again.

very good food, esp brisket and soul roll. very tasty bbq sauces you can add at your table. very friendly service. my ONLY complaint is that my complete meal didn't all come out at the same time. i.e., got brisket and my side, but by the time the soul roll came out of the fryer (oven?), my brisket was cold. (crying emoji) still recommend though.

    Best BBQ in town

Great food! Great service! So glad I stopped by for the best BBQ in town! They have many options for those who love BBQ but not pork. You won't be disappointed.

Food was INCREDIBLE as you can see it was mostly gone by the time I thought to take a picture service was on point, everyone was friendly and attentive to us throughout our visit. Casual, laid back environment. Great place to stop in and have some amazing Bbq and soul food!

I stopped by Smitty's Smokin Soulfood today. They're open Thursday to Saturday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. I went at lunch time, and there was a nice crowd. You can dine in, call in or order at the front. I ordered the sliced smoked brisket 2 slices that are weighed on a scale, green beans and mac and cheese. The smoked brisket was ok, it was not melt in your mouth tender, and not as good as my brother's smoked brisket, but it was ok. The green beans were seasoned well, I didn't have to add anything to doctor them up. The mac and cheese had ALL the cheese melted on top and none actually in the mac and cheese. When restaurants say "homemade or soulfood " I expect it to be as good as what I can cook or better, this mac and cheese was not. All in all the food was only ok to me, but not "I gotta go back good". At $19.00 and some change I ate my first meal from Smitty's Smokin Soulfood.

I was hungry and didn't know what or where to eat, not like there is a lack of options, but did I want ramen or something more local in regional flare? I picked the second one. I ended up at Tupelo Honey because fresh southern fried chicken sounded amazing and this place wasn't going to break the bank. I guess this place is a chain but I didn't know this until I was eating. The staff were beyond friendly and attentive and they answered all of my questions about the food. The restaurant was super clean. I ended up ordering the half bird with original seasoning on it. The seasoning the put on it is a crystallized honey power and something else in it, it gives the chicken a nice sweet flavor but not overpowering. They also have a spicy version for you spice lovers. The half bird came with 4 pieces as one would expect, the crust was crispy and the chicken was awesome. I was eating the dark meat and couldn't get over how juicy it was. The real test as you all know is the breast, is that going to be dry? Nope, it was so moist and flavorful, it was a home run. I guess they brine their chicken for some good amount of time and it shows. My sides though I wish I would have gotten more adventurous, the meal came with two sides so I got a salad and the fried potatoes as a recommendation from the waitress. They were good but the mac n cheese looked better. Overall this place is great and I would go again. It's right downtown and the service was fast and friendly. Great place for some fried chicken .

Inky's Philly Cheesesteak in Easley, SC, delivers a fantastic take on a regional favorite…read more Located at the base of The Silos--where several food trucks ply their specialties--Inky's stands out as a spacious, comfortable spot with large booths that invite you to settle in... and maybe stay a while. High ceiling, lots of wood paneling, very vintage while still feeling up to date. The menu includes burgers, deli-style hoagies, and salads, but let's be honest: the cheesesteak is why you showed up--and it's good enough to keep you coming back. There's some real history behind the name. Albert "Inky" Harris ran the first cheesesteak and hoagie shop in Philadelphia back in the 1940s, and the current grandchildren owners carry that legacy forward. Whether every detail has been perfectly preserved or lovingly remembered, one thing is certain: they source their white American cheese from Philly, and the result feels authentic. And that makes all the difference. The fresh-baked Liscio's rolls are huge--soft and warm on the inside, with a firm, crusty on the outside. Like me... on a good day. Inside, finely chopped steak, peppers, onions, and that perfectly melted white American cheese are blended together, so every bite delivers a balanced, satisfying hit of flavor. No "all onions in one bite, no meat in the next" surprises--just consistent harmony. And the star of the show? Certified Angus ribeye. No shortcuts. No skimping. No regrets. Sandwiches come in 7", 12", or the "I wish I was still in college" 18" option--because sometimes restraint is overrated. My wife and I split the Colossal. The meals are served on trendy paper-toppped metsl trays. The staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome and walk you through all the options. Sides round out the experience with plenty of choices: fries, tater tots, onion rings, pasta salad, fried mushrooms (hello, childhood), and a standout option--house-made chips, sliced and fried fresh and disappearing faster than your willpower. Bottom line: If you're craving a true Philly-style cheesesteak without leaving the Upstate, Inky's is absolutely worth the stop. Just don't plan on eating light... or sharing. Hours: M-W: 11-8 Th-Sa: 11-9

The Authentic Philly Cheese Steak. Is that one word or two? According to the menu it is…read more"Cheesesteaks", which auto correct doesn't like, but there it is. Rainy-ish Thursday December night at about midnight, or really 6:00PM but as dark and rainy as it was, it felt like midnight, the crowd had not hit yet but was trickling in. I found the opportunity to hit up Inky's going to a Clemson graduation party from Greenville. Good timing. No wait seating. Allowed to get a beer from next door, craft beers from Silos Brewing. Ordered the authentic standard 12 inch Philly with the Cooper cheese option, no additions because we are playing the authenticity game. Which is in itself a bit of an argument since a few "authentic" cheesesteaks in Philly swear by Cheese Whiz as authentic. Cheese Whiz is not an option, but provolone or American and Cooper are options. This is otherwise certified Angus beef ribeye, sliced super thin and incorporated on the grill with onions and the cheese into one homogeneous filling of authenticity. Also, the roll is the authentic Italian style from Liscio's Bakery - softer and chewier. I am not sure if it is a Liscio style or if they actually import these, but they are the real deal for texture and flavor. So, all that is fantastic. My only beef with the authenticity is just that....the beef. Not specifically the beef quality, but the beef quantity. The Philly Cheesesteaks I have had (in Philly) usually have a higher beef to bread ratio than my experience here. Could just be the chef for this one, but it seemed that my experience has been beef almost overflowing the hoagie bread. With that said, this is a fantastic and mouth watering sandwich. Not dry. Steaming hot. Came out very quickly. Made to order. Priced at $14.25 with tax comes to $15.53. I would say that coupled with the Silos experience, this is a destination worthy sandwich. If the restaurant keeps it this way, still worth it, but I wish there were an option to pay $2 more, for example, for 1.5X meat and it would be perfect. Oh, and maybe add the Cheese Whiz option for that side of town.
