My only recommendation is that they add some photos/art prints of the Southern Railway steam locomotives that roared through Easley until 1953 to "localize" the restaurant's ambience. Fake eggs real disappointment! I always try to support local, and was excited to try this restaurant. It was a big disappointment wanting an EGG sandwich and it's just a fake looking object that resembles an egg. Also, the quality of the sandwich was meh, for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich to barely have one piece of bacon total, that's a swing and a miss. It is sad when a chain such as Dunkin has a system for more consistency. We had also asked for butter but that went on deaf ears. I have become a big fan of cream cheese and lox bagels. I decided to try this spot since I currently am staying nearby. The menu was excellent with a variety of options. Breakfast and lunch choices like different bagel sandwiches, some salads, etc. It's spacious and decorated like a train station inside. Service was friendly. I got a combo which meant for $3, I got a fountain drink and a side (bag of chips, pasta salad, potato salad, fruit cup were the choices I remember). It's not the cheapest for a bagel but I expect that when getting lox and the portion was satisfying. They have pastries and some dessert (pineapple upside cake) in case you also want something like that with coffee or tea. I saw at least 3 items on the menu that I want to eat so I will be back. Lunch today was with my niece and brother at Iron Horse Steamers. Not my first time getting food from here, but my first time dining inside. My niece treated us to lunch, and I ordered the chef salad with thousand island dressing. My niece ordered the Mulligan, and her dad ordered the Grand Central Station. They enjoyed their bagels. My chef salad was beautifully presented, but all of the lettuce was bitter. I ate the toppings off of it, but the bitterness of the lettuce was too much. I had some friends that wanted to come here and I was happy to try a new place. Parking can be hard to find but I was lucky to find one on the street. I decided to get the Bailey Yard on an everything bagel with the pasta salad. It was my fault and I should of asked but I just assumed but the pasta salad had feta cheese on it or something similar to it so I wasn't able to eat it since I was pregnant. The sandwich was really good and filling. I also got a sweet tea to drink and it was good. I got my husband a Union Station on an onion bagel to go. I did get a half of a dozen bagel to go with some schmears. I noticed one of the bagels looked like it was something I didn't order. It was rainbow colored and I didn't think it was for me. I did go up front and ask about it and they did fix it. The schmears I got were really good and just the right size for the bagels. My daughter loved the french toast bagel with the cinnamon spread. Their bagels are great, the sandwiches options they have are creative and delicious. I was blown away by how fresh my sandwich was! Loads of fresh, vibrant veggies! I'm trying to remember the name of this one. My son loves the kids bagel breakfast sandwich, and the loaded potato soup! The atmosphere is casual but nice, busy at lunch time, many options to choose from, including salads. They have basic self serve coffee as well. The service is good and the food very flavorful.
