To say they have everything is probably accurate. I found the plants that I wanted and some ground cover I didn't know I wanted till I saw it, LOL. Prices were very good. I don't have a lot of comparisons, because where I live near Ft. Meade, there aren't many nurseries nearby. This place is definitely worth the drive for me. Parking is ample, but a little tricky. I mistakenly drove around to the commercial side and had to turn around to get back to the non-commercial area. There were lots of wheeled carts of different sizes. Everything is laid out according to types of plants and their needs - very efficient. I only spoke to three employees, two at some length, and they were so friendly and helpful - big plus for me! I take my business elsewhere if I don't feel welcome. Here's a little oddity that you want to watch out for: GPS kept wanting me to turn onto a side road next to an auto dealership, on the wrong side of Highway 301. (This was coming south from Gambrills/Crofton.) I submitted a correction, but till they fix it be aware the nursery is on the east side of the highway, sort of opposite the auto dealership.

I came to see the redbud tree but was sad I couldn't bring it home. I am hoping they can procure a variation that will fit my space as I know it'll be a beautiful addition to my garden! Relocating my hostas and hibiscus, I also grabbed tools needed. A very special shout out to the team - Ruth and Ryan for all your time and knowledge, and James's helping hands in loading the goods into my truck! They were sold out. But I did get an interesting tree which produces an herbal tea leaves. We'll see how it turns out. Also they were serving hot dogs and soft drinks. This was a welcome treat. Well be back in the spring.

WildFlower may look like the average retailer from the outside but once inside you are transported to a gorgeous wonderland. The store is much larger than I anticipated. While I thought it was just a florist I discovered it is also a gift shop. Regarding floral services, I selected a lovely arrangement from the large cooler with a variety of bright gerbera daisies in it. There were several florists on site very busy making arrangements so I could have had a custom arrangement made but there was no need since the cooler selection offered plenty of options. Regarding gifts, they carry some of my very favorite brands and artists. Some of my favorites are Jellycat plushes and the Jellycat plants they had here were so cute! Jellycats always have great expressions and the fabrics feel so good. They also have various items from local artist Kim Hovell like candles wrapped in her Chesapeake Bay inspired oyster paintings. Her work in hues of blues is always very calming. WildFlower also carries locally made artisan Choquette chocolates. When I want to give a little thank you or hostess gift I always choose choquette chocolates. There were plenty other neat gifty items and I'll definitely be returning to do a little shopping. As far as customer service goes, there were about three florists who were very focused on what they were doing and one kinda gave me a weird look, probably because I was audibly ooohhing and ahhing and taking photos of the gorgeous displays (after asking if it was ok.) There were also a few people on the floor who were very helpful. One lady in particular was my saving grace and she was super helpful and friendly as I looked to pick out a last minute gift. I really wish I had more time to wonder around WildFlower. I'll definitely be back!

I didn't walk more than 5 steps into the store before someone was by my side asking me what I was looking for and how they can help. Him letting me know the layout of the store was helpful, but still not really necessary. I just want ti browse and be left alone, I will ask you if I have questions. Anyway, I was very underwhelmed by their couches on display, they are all out dated looking and just ugly. The store is also huge and everything is spread out, it seemed empty or at least lacking personality or decoration, or something . Maybe that's because of covid and lack of supply? Idk, but again everything was super traditional, not my style at all. Overall I was very turned off by the sales approach and would not return. They need to come up with a more modern way of selling furniture because this is not going to work for future generations in my opinion.
