This place is not being managed properly. Whoever owns the place should consider evaluation of the leadership. They have inexperienced cashier taking orders, (incorrectly might I add) orders are coming out late and wrong, and there is no way to get in contact with management to advise because they don't answer the phone! This is no way, shape of fashion how a establishment should be tan! Just HORRIBLE!! read more

On Wednesday morning at about 10 am 8/05, I went to the TSC in the Publix Plaza in Conyers. I made my order and proceeded to stand in the back with my mask on. As I waited for my order, the service was very slow and I noticed they were filling online orders as well. I waited patiently as more people came in and left. After 30 minutes, I realized I was late for my appointment so I went to ask the young lady if she was the manager. She replied, "What's the problem?" I explained that I had been waiting for more than a half an hour and people they were trying to serve, in store, not online, came in way after me. I suggested that they needed a better system since it seemed most of the workers were working on online orders while the people in the store have to stand for a long time with their masks on. To my shock she replied, "Bye!" I explained that I was a customer and should not be spoken to in that way. She repeated, "Bye! I don't have to serve you." I told her i needed my food or my money back and she asked for my name and I replied that my name was not taken when I made the order. She requested my credit card and when I realized she was not going to serve me, I put my card on the counter and requested my money back. Immediately, she picked up her phone and dialed muttering, "I don't have to take this." I asked for my money several times to which she did not respond while continuing to hold on the phone. I saw that it was getting later and later for my appointment, so I picked up my card and walked out. My plan was to call the police but I was already 15 mins late for my appointment. I made a complaint to headquarters and I am still waiting for them to contact me. I have never been this disrespected and dehumanized in my life! I will never set foot in this or another Tropical Cafe. Obviously, these people have not been trained in customer service. I am still waiting to get my money back. Total disgrace! read more

Service was below average. Management needs to hire people who are familiar with good customer service vs just hiring someone who may be "personally nice" that needs a job...very disappointed for a Tropical Smoothie especially with a great location. read more

Don't ever come if you're in a rush. The food is really good but the teens (or young adults) that work here are incredibly slow. They spend a large chunk of the time they could be working looking at their phones. It took about 20 min to get a flatbread sandwich, there were 2 ladies in front of me. I also witnessed a person who ordered online arrive for their order, and it had not been started. I'll keep coming, but I know to have NOTHING to do when I go in. read more

Went here with my cousin to get a quick light lunch. It took forever to get our smoothies and two tacos, and when we did the guy didnt smile or give us any utensils. The smoothies were really good. I got the " get up and goji" and my cousin the "blimey limey" which she loved. For our meal we got the , you pick two, tacos and shared them. I got the new Thai Chile Steak while she got the Korean BBQ Steak. It was really good and had a little bit of a kick to it. Plenty of meat and satisfying.My cousin loved her as well so I would go back for a taco or try something else. read more

I mean this location is ok compared to the one off of north Decatur road. I always order the Acai berry boost which is a delicious smoothie, however at this location it's bland. Service is always dry and not welcoming. I asked one of the guys who works there what was his favorite flatbread because i wanted something different & he responded he doesn't like any of them because they all lack flavor. He unfortunately did not suggest any popular choices. I had to stand there and take a wild choice which was the chicken bacon ranch. It wasn't bad. I doubt I'll come back to this location but if I do I may have to specify making the smoothies more flavorful. They also do not have dine-in trays so I had to eat off of the bag they put my sandwich in. read more

Went there once and menu looks nice. We purchased 3 smoothies and we all agreed they tasted a little watered down...not enough flavor. Might give them 1 more chance but it will be hard with Smoothie King one block away. read more

They are terrible in communication skills, I mean come on it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that when someone walks in your restaurant to greet them and when they ask politely not to mess their smoothie up by adding to much ice, it doesn't mean rip me off by charging me full price for a half cup of smoothie. Definitely the attitude of the staff is a reflection of store manager and owner. So if you want to buy a cup of loaded ice and sugar watered down and pay full price this is the place to get your smoothie. Just saying...Don't waste your money nor your time for they just simply SUCK! read more
