AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We ordered from Uber Eats and our driver forgot to bring us our smoothies - just brought the other food. We tried contacting him but he did not answer his phone. We then contacted Tropical Smoothie to find out whether the driver had picked up the smoothies but not left them at our house, or if he never picked them up. They told us that he never picked them up and I asked if there was any way they could deliver them now. They said unfortunately they could not but then they offered to let us reorder delivery directly from them (I would have done this from the beginning if I knew i could!) and reimburse us for the smoothies!!! Epic fail. Ordered online 20 minutes ahead of pick-up. Arrived and waited an additional 15 minutes for my order to be ready. After leaving I realized my order was only half correct. The counter was complete chaos, boxes in the dining area not to mention at a minimum 12 ppl waiting for their orders. Stopped in for a smoothie with my brother while he was in town visiting and really enjoyed it! I had the detox smoothie and he tried the strawberry banana. The smoothies were HUGE and mine filled me up. I'll definitely be back to try other smoothies and possibly their food. Update 3/2/19: Grabbed lunch here today for my boyfriend and I. Tropical Smoothie is one of my all time favorite franchises. Every franchise I have visited in multiple states always satisfy. I ordered the hummus veggie wrap with a pomegranate plunge smoothie and a bad of chips. Of course everything was great so there is not much to critique in the review except the wait time and price. A friend and I waited for about 9 minutes to receive our order and the restaurant was not busy at all. There were only 2 others customers in the place; only one was waiting for her order. As far as price goes, I am familiar with what I expect to spend when visiting Tropical Smoothie but I will still protest at least a .50 cent decrease of everything on the menu nonetheless. read more

The Lansing Tropical Smoothie location MUST use the freshest ingredients! I'm convinced that they literally shutdown the store anytime somebody comes through the drive-through line, then head to the grocery store to purchase the ingredients needed for the order, and then return later to make the order. This is literally the slowest Tropical Smoothie location that I've ever been to, and I've tried this location half a dozen times in the last few months. I would rather drive the extra 30 minutes and go to the Lake Lansing location before being subjected to the atrocious wait-times here. I would encourage the franchise owner to conduct a random drive-through visit at this location to validate the complaint. read more

I absolutely love this place, I drive 15 minutes to this location, the employees are so professional and nice, I literally gave the cashier $20.00, and I forgot my change, she returned my change to me, without a thought of keeping it, and she could've, I wouldn't never realized it, because I normally pay with a credit card. I have seen it so busy in there, and they work well under pressure, and they take care or every customer well, going into this location gives me a good feeling, very clean environment, please keep up the outstanding work, your making a difference, they make excellent smoothies and they are constant, I drive pass 2 locations to visit this location, I would recommend everyone to visit this location, they are the best, above all the rest. :) read more

I'm a Tropical Smoothie fan because they have Beyond Meat options for vegetarian/vegan patrons. However, this place is a mess right now! Workers are standing around and/or poorly prioritizing tasks and when they finally help, they have bad attitudes...like awful attitudes....like openly complaining that patrons are there!??!!!? I wish that was the worst of it. But, they are also out of chips and slaw as side options; currently, they have cookies or 3 pieces of bruised fruit as side options. They must also be out of several ingredients because my Thai Faux Chicken wrap is just lettuce and fake chicken. There's one worker, maybe a manager (red head with long pony tail), who keeps saying she's "about to run to the store," but she's just standing in the back yapping with two other employees. Based on my experience today, the workers and franchise owner are giving about 20% of their best effort. So, either discount the food to 20% its cost or get your life right. read more
