I absolutely love the Huntington location! All of the employees there immediately assist you and are extremely polite. They also immediately make your order in a timely fashion (3-5 mins depending on how much you order) and there are many tabes to sit at. The restrooms are clean and there is always an employee cleaning the floors which makes me feel safe knowing that the cafe is clean. The ambiance is welcoming and safe. The food is absolutely freaking delicious! I have never gotten the hot food, but really want to. The smoothies are amazing as ever (I get them almost every day) and if you get tired of one smoothie, there are endless options to choose from. The bowls are even better. They have so many options. Having been to multiple locations around LI I was expecting more of the same. But this location made the best smoothie & wrap by far. I always get the health nut and it's always good but this place really raised the bar. If this was the consistency all of the locations had I'd be getting tropical smoothie every day. This plave is great or meh, depending on what you're looking for. I have ordered twice, both times getting the berry oat protein shake with pea protein and vitamin C. That was GREAT - I was ill and really needed the boost. I recommend it. The Thai Chicken Wrap was pretty good, but there were some gristly bits that were a bummer. The really odd choice I got was a salad that had veggies, pickled red onions, white rice, black beans, hummus, and...light ranch. LIGHT RANCH??? Um, NO. Never, EVER let anyone be so uncouth and American as to drizzle ranch dressing on your hummus. That's just handfuls of WRONG. I ordered the salad without that dressing, and it was very fresh. So, order, but examine ingredients & tailor accordingly. Ultimately, the food menu reads like something that a non-foodie might put together while trying to be clever & different. Always fast service - usually a line ..... I always get the detox island green since it is the lowest calorie drink option on the menu. Nice ginger snap on the flavor and only natural sweeteners come from the j gradients used, no added sugar in the detox island green. Not to be confused with island green drink - those have over 500 calories. If I'm being indulgent the peanut butter cup is my drink of choice but you are looking at upwards of 700 CAL's The pomegranate is also super refreshing at around 500 calories. read more

I go in this afternoon for a sandwich and a smoothie, wait 20+ mins for my order. I see people who ordered less behind me get their food well before me (they ordered in store not on the app). When we finally get our food, I asked the woman at the register if they forget to make the sandwich, perhaps the reason others were getting before me. She says "there were others in front of you". Was at this Smoothie place back in the beginning of August or so. I was driving home from a hot day at the beach, and craved a strawberry smoothie. I looked up the local Smoothie place. It took me here. The smoothie was average tasting, but it cooled me down. What stood out to me was that this older gentleman(owner/manager) was quite stuffy, curt and impatient with the new? worker. The other employees rolled their eyes at him too. Now I see why another customer stated the employees are rude to the customers. Just a tip.. if you are rude and impatient with your workers you are training, it will backfire in your face. These kids make what? minimum wage? And that's how a boss treats them. I like how you can have the option of getting it sugar -free or made with splenda. If you are on a diet and think these regular smoothies are healthy - think again. You should know that most of the smoothies are made with sugar added (Turbinado) to make them taste better and honestly I find them sickly sweet when ordering one with naturally sweet ingredients. If you are coming here in search of a healthy choice, order with "No Turbinado". I recommend the Health Nut, Avocolada, or Chia Banana boost, all of which can be ordered without extra sugar and still taste great naturally. i went into tropical smoothie at approximately 8:45 pm and i ordered my smoothie shortly after i decided to make the choice to order a wrap at around 8:47. i was calling the women i'm the back and she was not responding. another women came to the front to broom and she said she would be right with me. i was waiting until 9:00 and then the women decided to help me and asked what i wanted. i told her about the wrap i wanted when and then she told me it was too late, they were closed, and the oven was off. meanwhile, she was making a wrap for someone else 2 minutes earlier and apparently the oven magically turned of right after the wrap was done. i am very angry with my experience at this tropical smoothie location. they are rude, and their food is sub par. i will be calling the manager when they open again in the morning. read more
