This review is for the new Tropical Smoothie Cafe at 10000 N Rodney Parham. One star is too high for the way I was treated at this location. I only returned a second time because the last time I was here the app would not take my points code on the receipt. (BTW... it would not take the code for this visit either.) When I asked the manager if she could fix my situation, she said I would have to call customer service. I asked her if she could call customer service for me. (As there was only one car in the parking lot and no one behind me in line.) She said she could not. I replied, "I was very excited about this new location opening, but now I am thinking I will never return." She answered with a shrug of her very uncaring shoulders, "Well...customers come and go." And... that folks... is what this location thinks about me as a customer (AND I am a customer with a loyalty account.) Oh...and they had the gall to stick the very irritating (now I have to get out my glasses to read) clipboard asking for ye ole fast food drive-thru tip. Geez. This is by far the worst restaurant and the employees are the least professional that I have dealt with. First let's address a serious issue. Why doesn't the app update the customer when when there is no plant based meat that can be that can be purchased at the location. That's on the corporate people to fix So my wife goes to the location to pick up dinner and is told there is no plant bases meat, she says cancel the order.. while there they tell her they cant cancel the order i have to do so from the app. So she leaves and i cancel the order.. the app says incant cancel the order and tells me to call the location.. i call the location and they tell me "you have to come in and cancel the order in person". The so called manager on the phone then proceeds to hang up on me. I eventually had to call the customer service number to start the process of setting up my refund. My level of frustration is extremely high. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. Horrible experience. Burnt both sandwiches and neglected modifications requested on smoothies and sandwiches. Calls went straight to voicemail and they were still open. I had two kiwi quenchers with one being made with Splenda and I saw the girl making the smoothies pour them both out from the same blender which tells me neither were made with Splenda and when I asked if one had Splenda she said yes and neither had anything written on them so if it did I would have no way of knowing it. read more

I shit you not I have never in my life had to wait so long just to get horrible tasting food. I'm not talking about tropical smoothie as a chain, it's great! It's just this location . This location is absolutely horrible. I've tried again and again to come back, thinking "oh it was just a bad/slow day." I always give places the benefit of the doubt. But man after a certain point you seriously just can't justify the short comings. I am not Exaggerating when I say I have never had a pleasant experience at this store both with the taste of food or wait times And I know tropical smoothie takes longer than most places, that's okay. But I'm saying this location takes even longer. 40+ mins when you are the only person in line ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS is unforgivable. And I only get a wrap combo or two for whoever else is with me. I don't get big fat order that would warrant those wait times. Honest to god do not recommend this specific location at allllll. Man y'all have no idea. Never have issues with any other tropical smoothie. Just this one. Oh yeah! And let's also mention why the price of my exact same order that I get Everytime Is always different? I work down the street so i eat here often. i order the same thing EVERY TIME, and every time it's a different price. I ordered today with a tomato allergy, i ordered the ultimate club with no tomato and i get the sand which and it was tomato. i let them know, they take the sandwich back and give me the same exact sandwich with pieces of tomato. unable to eat the sandwich. read more

I love the Mocha Madness smoothie, and have for years, at locations all across the USA. So I decided to get lunch at the Rodney Parham location, and went through the drive through. After waiting behind 3 cars for about 10 minutes, I made it to the window. Where I was greeted by 2 order takers. However, there was no cross communication to or between these two, and they continuously contradicted each other, so after having enough of repeating my order over and over again, I asked to have my order taken by just one person. Where the female intercom orderer proceded to sigh audibly, so I rightfully asked "Excuse me?". No response. As I was placing my order with the third person in this visit, the others were still listening and trying to take my order through the intercom and conflicting with each other. I made the mistake of pulling out of the drive through before reviewing the order, because they left one of the multiple smoothies off the order. So I pulled in and went in, where I stated, "I just went through the drive through and did not get a smoothie I ordered". And another girl in the business proceeded to tell me "you didn't pay for the smoothie". I then said,"I am not saying I paid for it, I am saying I did not get it. I don't have a problem paying for something I did not." She decided to repeat herself, since it seems she thought I did not hear her, when I clearly responded properly to her, as she was looking at me, so I repeated myself again as well. Then left after paying for and receiving the missing smoothie. I do hope the franchise owner reads this and takes action. Little Rock has far too few people who work in customer service who actually know how to treat a customer. And I am an agreeable customer, despite my continuous enduring of messed up orders and pathetic customer service. read more

I have had several orders wrong at this establishment. But this one is the worst, I just got a Jamaican Jerk... NO JERK sauce! COLD chicken! So basically cold chicken and some pre packaged rice.
