I went about 20 minutes before closing. No greeting. Got a "I can't believe you're here right now" eye roll from one of the employees as I walked in. Sometimes after a weekend full of gluttony foodie adventures I have to try to reset. So a great way to do it for me is within. They offer a variety of different options but since I was trying to recover I went with the Detox Island Green. This smoothie came with spinach, kale mango, pineapple, banana and ginger. I also added vitamin c since I really needed it. I'm so not a pineapple fan and that's probably the only thing I didn't like about the drink but it did do its job. Don't go here unless you want stupid people making your drink, don't go here unless you want to have to tell them exactly what goes in the drink because they don't know. They gave me two of the same drink and tried to tell me because I subbed banana in my bahama mama these drinks are the exact same. Please look below and tell me these drinks are the same. Both were white and when they made it again the sunshine was magically orange after they told me it wasn't orange. I first tried these smoothies in Texas and oh man, no matter what location I went to, they were really, really good! Lots of flavor and well worth the money. At this location, I was very disappointed, both times. The drinks were very bland and simply tasted like shaved or blended ice. Service on the first visit was mediocre. The cashier, a male, seemed as though he did not care to be bothered. On a positive note, I will say, I paid with cash and after handling the money, he washed his hands before making my drink. This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I placed a delivery order today at 7:21 p.m., only for it to never arrive. I called the café and explained the situation to both Lauren and April. They were both extremely rude and told me there was nothing they could do to resolve the issue. I even asked if I could come in the next morning to speak with a manager and explain what happened, since I paid for an order that I never received. Instead of trying to help, they spoke to me in a rude and dismissive tone, repeatedly talking over me while I was trying to explain the situation. It came across as unprofessional and made me feel like they were not properly trained in customer service. It's disappointing to be treated this way. I am a frequent customer, especially for delivery orders, but after this experience and the way I was treated, I would rather take my business elsewhere. I used to love this place and would come frequently to get smoothies here, honestly the only place I would get smoothies from. I place orders through the app and come into the store to pick them up. About two weeks ago I placed an order through the app like I always do but the app glitched out and I wasn't sure what happened so I placed the order again and picked up my order like normal. Only problem was I got charged twice!!! I brought this to their attention on my next visit and the male who helped me seemed like he would be able to give me a refund. I called after a week of no response or notice back to me. The lady manager I spoke to was very rude and she said this was brought to her attention but on "her end" she can only see a $6.99 charge that was last made on my account. They are liars!!!! The smoothies aren't even $6.99 I told her where did that charge come from because none of my recent orders were even $6.99 she dismissed me and said she would try to contact her "account managers" once more to give me a refund. On August 11 at 7:13 AM I went in to go and pick up an online order that was supposed to be ready when I get there at 11:15 the shop was closed. I shook the door. But obviously it was closed so I left because I was going to be late for work. I called in around 7:30 to let them know the situation and they said that they will cancel my order but the refund will take 24 to 48 hours it has been longer and I have yet to receive a refund. I have called the manager on 3 to 4 separate occasions to call me back and I haven't heard nothing. This isn't the first time that this has happened to me in this specific location. I am very, very upset that I have yet to receive any response or my money back. I didn't wanna write a Yelp review, but it seems like this is the only way I can get their attention. I was helped and I ordered the super green chicken wrap, sweet baked potatoes and the Bahama mama smoothie. The smoothie hands down was good and flavorful. The size is good too. I would go back just to try it again. The chicken wrap was okay. It's not something I would seek to try out again. The sweet baked potatoes were hard and needed some sugar lol I only took a bite of it and I wasn't impressed. I'm aware everyone makes them different but it just wasn't my cup of tea. Came here to try the place out for a T-Mobile promotion. Ordered through the store's mobile app without any hiccups. I show up to the store where they said they didn't make my order because they are not participating in the promo. Not only was it frustrating that they let the order go through, didn't contact me to inform me that they aren't taking the T mobile order once they received it to the app, but worse of all, did not show any care or remorse regarding all this. I was craving a smoothie all day, and my husband suggested we try the new Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I was pleasantly surprised how yummy my smoothie was. First of all, the store is super clean. Secondly, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has an extensive menu of healthy food items as well as smoothies. We did not try any food today, but I can tell you my Paradise Point smoothie was DELISH! It was refreshing on this hit summer day, and the perfect consistency. I hate it when my smoothies are the consistency of a thick runny juice. I was super excited to try this place out because the photos & smoothies looked amazing. I left super disappointed. I ordered online for order pick up because I was in another part of Rancho for work and thought it would be more convenient to order ahead. I saw they had this Island Chicken Quesadilla which had Pineapple salsa & it sounded amazing so I ordered that. I also ordered the Mango Smoothie which has Yogurt, Mango & Pineapple. I got there a few minutes early just to check in and the guy that was making the food asked what I had in my order. When I told him I got the Island Chicken Quesadilla he told me that they were out of the Pineapple Salsa but offered to make the Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla instead. I was hesitant at first but decided why not I'll try that one out instead. After I got my Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla I went over to the drink counter to wait for my drink. When Andrew asked me if I was waiting for my order I said yes and I told him I got the Mango Smoothie. He told me unfortunately they were out of Yogurt. He was super apologetic & so was the other guy who made the Quesadilla. But how.. are y'all out of yogurt? And why did you guys not contact me by phone to let me know before I got there? Y'all had 30 minutes to call and let me know. I already paid for the stuff I wanted and now I have to substitute? I ended up having him add strawberries because the substitute he offered was not what I like. I feel so bad because it was three employees and it seemed like they may have been backed up and there were others waiting just as patiently as I was for their orders.
