I used to be a regular customer at Zurys Raspados, but after my last experience I won't be returning. I ordered an esquite with Hot Cheetos and drove about 20 minutes home before realizing they forgot to add the mayo. I drove all the way back to have the order fixed. Instead of remaking the esquite, they piled an excessive amount of mayo on top, which completely threw off the taste and texture. I politely asked if they could make a new one since the original order was made incorrectly, but they refused. They also refused to provide a refund. Mistakes happen but what disappointed me was the lack of customer service and unwillingness to make things right for a regular customer. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression and I can no longer recommend this place. There's plenty of similar businesses around that serve better. read more

My husband and I had an excellent experience at Zury's! We were greeted when we walked in and were helped right away by the friendly staff at the counter. We ordered the strawberry Raspado and the Frappuccino. My husband took a sip of his frappe and immediately fell in love! My strawberry raspado was also super delicious. Very good raspados! We tried the nuez, vanilla, and vanilla with guayaba and they were all delicious without being too sweet. We also saw someone come in for fresas con crema that looked very good! This place has potential to be great, but the customer service experience could use improvement. The younger staff members appeared disengaged, which negatively impacted the overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, my order was also incorrect. Having worked in food service myself, I understand mistakes happen. Still, we were respectful and patient throughout our visit. Honestly this not first time coming to this location, first time l came staff was very happy to help us. This time can say the same. I came to this location because it's one of the few places that still serve thrifty's ice cream iykyk. I placed my order which was 2 orders 2 scoops ice cream and taki esquite. She repeated my order and told us go have a seat and will get your order. We said ok my son went to sit down and l stood by the ice cream because l never told her what kind of ice cream l wanted. she just took the order and charged me. When l looked back to see where she went she told the guys in the back to come help me. They don't know what the issue was or she just didn't want to help us anymore. Honestly are conversations was minimal. The guy that came out was very nice asked what kind ice cream l wanted and we left. This place deserves 0 stars. I was too scared to say something because I don't like awkward situations. I ordered ice cream and the employee dropped my scoop on the counter and STILL GAVE IT TO ME AND HAD ME PAY FOR IT. Unsanitary! The ice cream looked expired and as if it had been sitting in the tubs for A LONGGGG time. This place needs to be inspected. The esquite was mostly mayo and for some reason it was very salty.. Worst way to run a business. They are usually super rude and unprofessional but yesterday I went wanting an orange smoothie I had tried a few years back and when I called to place my order there was no answer multiple times and no business phone, a voicemail to a cell phone always goes on. I then decided to go in person and the lady tells me that the guys that has the phone is not there and also hasn't brought any ice. She said she couldn't make me the smoothie because they had no ice. Every time that we go to zurys it's always closed even though the hours online say it's open. We end up going to other places.

Super rude customer service! My mother in law was constantly asked if she was ready while examining the menu. When she ordered a banana split they gave her flavors she never asked for and the rude employee responded back with "that's what everyone usually orders". What no ma'am. Not the first bad experience either One time mysister in law and myself visited after work and right away no welcome or smile. We felt unwanted and we were por unattended. While she ordered this rude ass lady was on her phone the entire time. After my sister in law ordered I started to order and this lady was still on her phone, after I finished my order she looked up and she said "sorry what was that" I was frustrated and irritated at that point. I have been going to Zury's since they first opened their shop on Sierra. Their Raspados are normally very tasty however the last time I went I ordered the Rusa which tasted like straight lemon juice and nothing else. When I came back in to fix my drink (because I know how it should taste) the man preparing the drink was rude and degrading. He was very agitated remaking the drink and insisted that it was supposed to taste like that. I have had the Rusa many times before, and I know how it should taste. Let's start with the place over all it's not to bad it's decent right now thanks to COVID people have to wait outside for there order that's fine. We have to do our part and help local businesses. That being said I will no longer be coming back here again for two reasons one was the food it wasn't worth what we paid for both it wasn't tasty at all. On top of that our Raspados and ice cream were melting. Which leads me my second reasoning after waiting 20 minutes for our order my mom went in there to ask when our order was going to be out.
