The staff was standoffish, but prompt. The Smoothie was delicious, but a bit expensive. All in all, I would go back of or when the hankering for a Smoothie hits again. read more

Refreshing What began as a nice even cool morning turned into hot by lunch. A good way to combat that and be a little healthy is with a smoothie. I don't drink many smoothies and I ask myself why whenever I have one. I had a good one today, something called a Rockin' Raspberry Classic, with strawberries, bananas and of course, raspberries. I think they only have one size, it was pretty large, and it was prepared in just a few minutes. It was cold, I had to pace myself or get brain freeze, so it lasted awhile. They have seats inside and out, I sat outside for a few minutes, then headed out with my drink. We were visiting Sarasota and I had to have a smoothie from a local Tropical Smoothie franchise. We got 2 fruit smoothies that were 100% not edible. Horrible taste and so watered down. We spent almost 20.00 on those an a Thai Chicken Wrap. The wrap tasted ok, but was more of a super fat burrito that fell apart when you bit into it. Everything went into the trash except for the bag of chips that was initially a apple in spite of ordering chips. Had to return to the store to swap that out. Stay clear of this store. read more

This establishment is supposed to open at 8am. We waited for 20 minutes and no one showed up. This is the 5th time this has happened. We have previously ordered online to be picked up at 8:15. And no one is even at the shop. I don't know if the employee is the owner or not. But if he isn't , you are losing business There were a few people who walked up to the door, only to find the business closed. If you post business hours, you should adhere to them. What a difference!! New owners have taken over this place and it is a million times better! They cleaned the place up, painted, put new flooring down and hired friendly employees. Service is better (they could still use another employee to help with the lunch rush), it doesn't smell anymore, and the food and smoothies are prepared fresh and taste great. I just had a guava smoothie with strawberry, cranberry and orange - it was amazing. I also recommend the baja chicken flatbread...yummy! I was very curious to see what all the buzz about this place was so I convinced myself to give it a try. Big mistake. Waited 33 minutes for a sandwich and a water, which by the way I paid $2.00 for and the employee filled up a plastic cup with sink water. When I asked why I didn't receive bottled water he replied, "We're out." Extremely disorganized staff and it didn't look like there was even a manager to speak to.
