The eggplant was really soggy, and the whole sandwich was lacking that crispiness I was hoping for. It wasn't quite what I wanted. On the bright side, the marinara sauce was pretty solid--not too sour or tangy, and it had good flavor, but the sandwich itself was just missing something. It wasn't my favorite. That said, they do have a lot of other options on the menu, and I'll probably give them another shot. This time around, the only other thing we tried was the gelato, and that was amazing. You can tell it was fresh, and it was definitely the highlight of the meal. The deli has a good amount of seating, but it does get really busy during lunch rush, so just a heads-up. You can pre-order if you want to skip the line, which is a nice option.
