My recent stay at the Ocean Casino Resort was another positive one. I will provide feedback for a few key areas below: Room: I had read so many reviews that the cleanliness of the rooms, something that I had always raved about, was no longer at the same high standard as it had been in the past. These comments made me nervous about what I would encounter upon my arrival, but the place was as clean as ever. Our housekeeping attendant (I believe her name was Jahanana), was sweet and very on top of things. Aside from that, the furniture in the rooms had been refreshed since my last visit. The room was very spacious and offered a sitting area in addition to the bed and desk. While all rooms have at least a partial view of the beach, we lucked out this time with a really spectacular northern view. The bathroom was huge with dual sinks and a massive shower. Restaurants and Bars: The options for dining and imbibing have changed many times over the last few years, but there is always a variety to satisfy a spectrum of tastes. Some of my current favorites are Chez Frites, Harper's, Nola's, and Zhen Bang Noodle & Sushi. (I have reviewed various places separately over the years.) Check-In Process: We were able to choose our exact room by checking in early via the confirmation email. This made things much easier when we arrived, as we just grabbed our keys and went upstairs. Express check-out was also offered and saved us time as we wrapped up our experience. When we did have to engage with the front desk staff, they were perfectly nice. Fitness Center: I have always loved the gym at the Ocean, as it is massive and offers plenty of space for people to spread out and use their vast amount of equipment. They literally have every piece of cardio and weightlifting equipment you could ever want. However, they were promoting the space as being renovated and renamed "Mussels", but all they really did was upgrade the spin bikes and rowing machines to Pelotons and rebranded that section of the fitness area with the Peloton name. Plus, there was no longer an attendant at the desk, and one morning there was an obvious straggler using the facilities. Location: The Ocean is located at the northern-most end of the boardwalk, which allows it to be a bit more quiet and outside of the craziness. However, it is only a few minutes walk to the Steel Pier and other big casinos. Parking: They offer both valet and self-parking at various costs. Pools: Their Eclipse pool offers indoor and outdoor sections, making it accessible all year around. They also have a bar in the summer. However, I prefer the Boardwalk pool, which is adults-only. It is shallow and more for standing and dancing during their large DJ parties. However, if you go on a weekday when there are no ticketed events happening, you can use any of the daybeds or lounge areas for free. Plus, they still have food and beverage service, so you do not need to go up to the bar. Their French fries are fantastic and served as a massive portion. From a cocktail perspective, I love the Prickly Pear Sparkling Margarita made with Lalo Blanco Tequila, cold-pressed prickly pear juice, beet juice, and fresh lime. Casino: The casino is clean, well-kept, and offers the standard variety of slots and table games, as well as a sports betting area. My recent trip to the Ocean Casino Resort just reemphasized that it is my go-to lodging option in Atlantic City. It is clean, fun, and offers a fantastic overall experience. read more

The many rooms that I have occupied were NOT properly cleaned ( bring your own cleaning products+ disinfectants) but had great ocean views. The Casino is always Fun. The pool ambiance is completely ruined by the large number of kids. There isn't a designated Adults Only pool. Service wise this hotel is comparable to a Motel 8. Herb, the self entitled " Bell Captain" ( this hotel doesn't have a Bell Team) is corrupt, unscrupulous and unprofessional. Herb will only arrange for your luggage to be transported to your vehicle or a Taxi, by Valet services; if you Tip him First. Herb will start by telling you that as a " bell Captain", he has to move your luggage himself to the front entrance ( in order to get a Taxi), he has to " move away from the desk" and " that's a big Favor/ task". I witnessed as Herb told this LIE to many and received a Tip ; then proceeded to arrange for the luggage to be taken on a bell cart by Valet services. At no point, did Herb transport luggage in bell carts to vehicles or Taxis , himself, because that's not his job. He's a CON artist getting tips / commission prior to providing a Service that's included in the cost of the hotel stay. Since I didn't fall for his CON nor did I Tip him beforehand ; Herb refused to arrange for Valet Services to take my luggage and I wasn't even provided with a Bell Cart. I was forced to drag 2 very heavy suitcases+ a bag and a large purse through the Lobby and Casino, myself in order to get a Taxi. Herb was very Rude throughout his interaction with me; even though I was willing to wait the necessary time to get help. Additionally, at this hotel, the Red Do Not Disturb ( DND) Light is not respected. Housekeepers knock on your door regardless, early in the morning. Housekeepers and other staff members do enter your room when the RED DND LIGHT is ON. I have alerted security about this matter but nothing was done about it / no follow up. If you approach a housekeeper with a request, you will get the following response: " I Don't Speak English". Often housekeepers have loud conversations in Spanish, while Guests are inside their rooms sleeping or working remotely. read more

So disappointed in this casino for one reason. The dramatic exterior and the posh modern interior was commendable even offered a late night coffee truck at the rear entrance. All this was great but walked a far distance on the boardwalk on a humid night to visit this casino specifically for the live poker room, WHICH IT DOES NOT OFFER!!! SO DANG MAD!!! read more

This was my first time staying at the Oceans in Atlantic City and it did not disappoint. We spent two nights here. There was plenty of stuff to do some of the highlights was the pool, the beach, the boardwalk and the casino. There is an insane amount of things to do and I think honestly every day you can experience something different. The carnival is cool and all the shops along the boardwalk. They have little trolleys to take you from each side of the boardwalks because you can definitely walk a lot throughout the day. It was a fun and exciting trip that I will almost remember. I recommend you being some water bottles in your luggage so you have them as the room is not stocked. All the gifts shops are a bit expensive. Also make sure you bring beach stuff if you do plan on going to the beach! Enjoy your trip. read more

Ocean is defined as one of the top casinos In Atlantic City. Years ago, it did not stay on as Revel but was resurrected like The Phoenix and now stands tall in the casino scene. Overall, I usually just play the slot machines here, never really play the table games at all. One time I was here I did see Jay-Z , Tyrese, Joe Manganiello and a few others for a big event but I could see the celebs from the casino floor where I was playing. It is a very nice sized property-this casino, also free drinks are offered while you are actively gambling on the casino floor. The waitresses take the orders and come back in due time for an alcoholic or nonalcoholic drink. Also, activities like TopGolf, The Gallery Bar for sports betting and HQ2 is on the property for the nightclub experience. Amazing pool experiences are here as well, the indoor-outdoor pool. Usually my top visits are Borgata hotel and Hard Rock, just as a player and consumer in Atlantic City, but lately Ocean I'd say is definitely right behind because each trip I take here I will try to visit or stay at this property again. Mr. Cashman is one of my favorite slot machine games to play and a few months ago I won about a $100 that was just from playing 50 cents a spin at this casino. read more

As a Prime reward member for 3 consecutive years, I came with high expectations. My favorite Casino in Atlantic City. Located at the end of the boardwalk with stellar ocean views. Has an attached day and night pool party venue. Plenty of restaurants and bars to visit and a food court for an added touch. I usually come here twice a year to see a show at their theater Ovation Hall but you are drawn into the casino as soon as you are standing in front of it. I loved our stay here. Every room has an ocean view and was very clean. The whole hotel just seemed clean and way better than most of the run-down hotels/casinos in AC. The layout is a little confusing at first with different elevators to different floors but we got the hang of it. We enjoyed our time at the indoor/outdoor pool but will probably splurge for the spa next time to stay away from kids. They have a very nice outside grass area near the lobby. The casino is nice and clean and the games were fun. We lost money on the slots but it didn't spoil our time there. Rooms were a little expensive during the summer but for how nice things are, I can understand. They have nice food options (a cafe and restaurants). It things can add up fast so be sure to bring snacks! We really enjoyed the gym too, it had new machines and was really clean: way better than our home gym and better than other hotels for sure. Well, I had to DJ for an event for a client in the Oceans Casino resort meeting room and I was accommodated with a room. 1st off, the Oceans Casino is a gorgeous venue. Almost feels like a futuristic adventure! The structure itself is enormous and looks like something out of Star Wars. At least to me. The escalators goo way up top.. Looks like a spaceship. So then I get to my room.. The room was beautiful! Looked extremely clean.. New.. Up to date. Bathroom was nice, big.. Great shower, sinks.. Bed and sheets were so clean and comfortable.. I'm not much of a gambler but the casino was pretty busy. Staff were really nice and kind. Overall I had a great time out there at the Oceans Casino Resort. Hopefully I'll get back there soon. I booked two rooms here, got one on the 47th floor and one on the 16th floor. I saw the differences in how I was treated for each room. The 16th floor, 90% of the time I could not find someone in housekeeping. The phone just kept ringing. I had to call from the 47th floor for extra amenities for both my rooms. Asked for more tissues for my 16th floor, never saw the tissue box. Extra Towels took over 3 hours to get delivered. Paid over 200 a night and they couldn't even spare a soap dish for our room or two lotions? My other room had a soap dish and two lotions. The view is nice here, but my room on the 16th flop was so dirty. There was tomato sauce stain on the floor and IT WAS SOOOOO DUSTY. It was dusty everywhere, from the silver window panels to the wood about the beds. The worst part was the storage space under the sinks where they store our towels and hair dryer.... They basically placed clean towels on top of dust so our towels were dusty. I always stay at Caesars or Borgata. I will Not be returning to Ocean. The only good part about this hotel was the ocean view and the boardwalk view. Another shark positive is the Asian restaurant inside, the service was amazing and food was huge portions. The inside pool is small and was crowded, we didn't bother going into the people soup. They did not have many blackjack tables either. read more

What a great hotel and casino! I was here in early November 2025 for a work conference. What left a lasting impression on me is the quality of the room and the catering staff. Wow! The catering folks are true professionals. They were so pleasant and helpful. The level of service they provided was top-notch. I could tell they love their jobs and were very detail oriented. I hope the conference officials pick The Ocean for next year's agenda because it is worth coming back just to be catered to by this staff. This review is based on my visit to the casino, lobby bar, and common areas at Ocean Casino Resort. I had heard great things about this resort and overall had a very pleasant experience. The property felt welcoming, vibrant, and spacious. I signed up for a player's card and even received a complimentary shirt, which was a nice touch. I was also informed about discounted parking, which was definitely a plus. I played a few slot machines before heading up to the lobby bar. While they didn't offer happy hour pricing, the drinks were still reasonably priced. The views from the resort and the ease of parking both exceeded my expectations. We tried to stay here for a short family vacay, but sadly the hotel was fully booked. I still stopped by to check it out and was impressed--it looked lovely! The décor was modern and clean, and every area I saw was well-lit and spotless. I also liked that there were several shops and restaurants right within the casino resort, making it super convenient. The only downside is the location--it's at one end of the boardwalk, so walking to the other end would be a bit of a hike. I've been coming to Ocean since the grand opening. I love the constant update of new restaurants and shops so you can never get tired. My new favorite restaurant is Chez Frites that salad dressing so tasty. Top amenities are the Spa and grand infinity pool located on the roof especially in the winter time with grande snowflakes coming down while you're in the Hot tub on the roof. Perfect Daycation Escape! We did a quick daycation and it was just what our family needed! Everything was super convenient. The pool was refreshing, and the ocean view? Absolutely perfect. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view. Although I'm a blackjack girl, I skipped the tables this time. We wrapped the day with dinner at Amada, which was incredible. and as a bonus, we got to enjoy the drone and fireworks show right from our seat! My wife and I are VERY UNHAPPY with our foreshortened stay at Ocean Resort. It is impossible to get any kind of real clarity about the charges levied against us. I have tried contacting the hotel only to be repeatedly put on hold and then cut off. I visited Ocean Casino on Monday, June 27th expecting to spend the day at the casino, only to be told upon arrival that the casino floor was closed because of a burst pipe that caused flooding. What was most disappointing was that I was never notified beforehand. I received no phone call, text message, or email, even though the casino had my reservation and contact information. Had I been informed, I would have simply rescheduled my visit instead of making the trip. To make matters worse, there was no apology and no effort to make things right. The only thing I was offered was a small bottle of water. While I understand that emergencies happen, communication and customer service matter. A simple notification, sincere apology, or even a small complimentary offer would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my time and business were not valued. I hope Ocean Casino improves its communication with guests when unexpected situations like this occur. read more

***Fight night Casio Hotel Stay*** I have read some reviews and can only provide my honest review based on my say. I booked the room for the Boots Ennis MATCHROOM boxing event. I was met a lady that was so kind and positive. I had even forgotten my license in the car and she booked the room and said go get it how me and ill hand you everything. I did just that and she gave me my keys etc no wait UNTIL she saw I was retired military. She asked me to wait and provided me with a free parking card for being a veteran. I am awaiting the hotel stay opportunities she says veterans receive. The Room: It was clean and freshly turned. The Facility: Now knowing it is NJ and a Philly fighter was in town i expected to have a hint of weed in the air here and there and that's alright. It was not being actively smoked in the facility. The areas were well kept and the signage was sufficient. The Staff: Amazing, from the old man at the security prior to the elevators that's was extremely nice and funny, to the bell hops that gave me awesome directions. Let me not forget that awesome lady at check-in. The Food: Now this is what kept me from a fifth star. The restaurants inside were a bit overpriced for the food being served. Now that's on the restaurant, but the pricing. I don't know about that. We went to Ocean Resort to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Going during what is considered off season I was able to book a room about 2.5 months in advance with their advanced rate discount and pay about $80 for a contemporary king room, which is a steal if you ask me. Paid extra for early check in and clean air quality room choice. Darwin checked us in and he was fantastic. He waived our early check in fee for us which got our stay started on the right foot. We got a nice room on the 25th floor with partial ocean view. The room was clean and felt very upscale. We got dinner at Amada (that'll be a separate review) spent some time on the gaming floor, and then retired to the room to relax for the rest of the evening. Check out was super easy in the morning. I'd definitely recommend staying here and we plan on returning to check out what they have during the summer. read more

The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is huge, clean, has plenty of security, lots of restaurant choices, an indoor/outdoor heated pool, and large rooms. The hotel is only 40 minutes from Cape May and I enjoyed how the hotel had fires throughout the terrace, which kept hotel guests warm and able to enjoy a clear view of the drones flying around. I had some comp rooms to use and booked a 2 night stay with my sister. We had arrived around 9 and unfortunately the parking deck level 11 was closed. We ended up parking on the 12th floor and still plenty of parking spots. Check in process as quick as we had checked in early and selected our rooms. We just needed to pick up our keys. Elevator system is great as it is separated by floor blocks-- so getting to our room on the 32nd floor was pretty quick. The room was clean when we arrived. I love staying at Oceans- great variety of slots and gaming and food places! I love going to caffecino late night for a sweet treat! For a weeknight, the casino floor was always packed. And of course the house always wins! I also like going to Oceans- it's a quieter part of the boardwalk. Also the Starbucks just opened recently and that was a win for me! read more

The 26th floor is a very nice floor. Rooms are clean and spacious. But I still gave it my Lysol over. Bathroom shower water don't have good pressure would be my only complain. But the bench shower seating is a nice touch. There's a refrigerator but no microwave. They want you to go downstairs and buy food. I was offered the top floor for $2900. High roller price. But I kept my $42 comp room on the 26th floor. No brainer $42 or $2,900. But comps only can be gotten Sun to Thurs. This room is fine for me. I'll be going back home in the morning. Plenty space. I especially like the bench seating in the shower. Great touch. So much has changed since my last visit pre covid. Even the reward cards and system they are using for the reward cards are upgraded. Rooms got a nice makeover. Colors really working together. Warm and cozy. I been away for a good 6 yrs. Because there are so many casinos in PA that are now closer drive for me. But I'll come to Atlantic city more this summer. My grandchildren would love coming to walk the boardwalk, play in the heated pool. There's much to do. The casino has so many newer games then where I do go when thinking to gamble. Seems like wherever I go. I am a winner. So I accept my blessings humbly. Stayed at Ocean Casino for 2 nights on my husband's comp. I usually like this property because it still feels newer compared to other casinos in Atlantic City. This time was a completely different experience. Our room had constant cracking noises coming from inside the walls, especially in the bathroom. It was loud enough to keep me up all night. At first we thought it was just the wind, but even after the weather cleared, the noise didn't stop. After a long day of gambling and dinner, we came back late hoping to finally get some rest, but the noise was still there. At that point, I was exhausted and frustrated. I called the front desk and was told security would come "after a while," which was not acceptable since it was already past midnight. I ended up going downstairs myself to demand a room change. The initial response was disappointing -- I was offered a low-floor room or one with two beds, which felt like a downgrade rather than a solution. Only after asking for a manager and pushing back did they finally move us to a higher floor with a king bed and waive the service charge. Honestly, it shouldn't take that much effort and stress to resolve a basic issue, especially at a hotel like this. If I didn't push, I would have been stuck dealing with it all night. On the positive side, the casino staff were friendly and welcoming as always. But front desk management really needs to step up and handle situations like this with more professionalism and urgency. read more

I didn't stay here but checked this place out and was impressed. For one thing you can actually see the beach/ocean from this place unlike the other hotels/casinos that tend to have zero natural light. They have a large modern lobby and areas with lots of bars/restaurants to choose from. The casino also has pretty good drink service and I noticed lots of security, probably to ensure there are no issues since the Boardwalk seemed a little sketchy in places. I'd come back here for sure and would consider staying here if I could get a good rate. read more

I went for a two day mid week get away with a special someone. My review is based strictly on the room, room service, and front desk staff. We did not explore the amenities or casino. We went simply as a break/ reset. The resort itself is very modern and appears to maybe be the newest on the strip. Upon entrance you feel like you are high scale establishment. He feels like a real "resort". Check is was smooth and took all of 3 minutes. The front desk staff was pleasant and greeted us with a smile and provide a map that shared all the amenities. Our room was very nice and clean. Compared to other rooms at other casinos this was top tier. With the floor to ceiling wall windows with the perfect view of both the Atlantic and boardwalk for a brief second I thought I was on holiday abroad. The majority of our meals were room services. To be Atlantic City prices were reasonable and a decent portion size. While we sampled different options hands down breakfast was the best. Loved the omelets. I enjoyed my stay. It was the reset I needed. I hope to return and explore more of the resort. read more

The casino itself is impressive, though outside of the Jingle Bell Bar, holiday decorations were sparse. The sheer size of the space likely makes it challenging to create a fully decorated look throughout. That said, Ocean has other strong points. We've attended a show here before, and their entertainment venue stands out as one of the better options compared to other casinos in Atlantic City. The layout, sound quality, and overall atmosphere make for a great experience. What an absolutely gorgeous architectural design. My partner was visiting America for the first time and decided to get the room with the view. I highly suggest staying in a studio suite or bigger with the floor to ceiling views of the ocean. It was breathtaking. We hit the slot, won some money that's always nice. The pool was epic. Clean, well ran. Towels available. Plenty of chairs. (Mind you it's December) the heated Infinity pool cascading to outside. The pool was heated and gorgeous outside. The hot tub was also spacious. But you better run like heck when exiting the pool to the hot tub in the freezing cold . We didn't eat dinner in the hotel. We did council oak and docks. However we did have an amazing brunch at Harpers. Located in ocean. When we first arrived I noticed all 6 of coffee pods were decaf. I called and asked if I can please have regular we don't drink decaf. Someone came and delivered some pods. 6 more decaf and 2 regular. I did not realize because they were in a box. The reason I deducted a star was because we did not receive maid service after speaking to a maid in person and giving her my room number and told her we are going out for a few hours. Upon arrival no one had come even though I selected the option on the door for maid service to come. Then I called housekeeping and spoke with someone. I said no big deal but please have someone remove the trash and replace towels we are all out. They assured me no problem. We went out for dinner and some more gambling and came to the room untouched and now no towels to shower. That was upsetting and I tip maids every day when I receive service. My husband and I went to Oceans to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. Everything was so fabulous. While we were there, we visited the coffee shop, the burger place, food court and casino. We walked around at the shops too and we went to eat breakfast at the restaurant there and we played slots and craps. I will be back. Everything was maintained well and our room was nice. We used the fitness center, pool and did a day pass at the spa. Highly recommend. read more
