So disappointed in this casino for one reason. The dramatic exterior and the posh modern interior was commendable even offered a late night coffee truck at the rear entrance. All this was great but walked a far distance on the boardwalk on a humid night to visit this casino specifically for the live poker room, WHICH IT DOES NOT OFFER!!! SO DANG MAD!!!

This was my first time staying at the Oceans in Atlantic City and it did not disappoint. We spent two nights here. There was plenty of stuff to do some of the highlights was the pool, the beach, the boardwalk and the casino. There is an insane amount of things to do and I think honestly every day you can experience something different. The carnival is cool and all the shops along the boardwalk. They have little trolleys to take you from each side of the boardwalks because you can definitely walk a lot throughout the day. It was a fun and exciting trip that I will almost remember. I recommend you being some water bottles in your luggage so you have them as the room is not stocked. All the gifts shops are a bit expensive. Also make sure you bring beach stuff if you do plan on going to the beach! Enjoy your trip.

Ocean is defined as one of the top casinos In Atlantic City. Years ago, it did not stay on as Revel but was resurrected like The Phoenix and now stands tall in the casino scene. Overall, I usually just play the slot machines here, never really play the table games at all. One time I was here I did see Jay-Z , Tyrese, Joe Manganiello and a few others for a big event but I could see the celebs from the casino floor where I was playing. It is a very nice sized property-this casino, also free drinks are offered while you are actively gambling on the casino floor. The waitresses take the orders and come back in due time for an alcoholic or nonalcoholic drink. Also, activities like TopGolf, The Gallery Bar for sports betting and HQ2 is on the property for the nightclub experience. Amazing pool experiences are here as well, the indoor-outdoor pool. Usually my top visits are Borgata hotel and Hard Rock, just as a player and consumer in Atlantic City, but lately Ocean I'd say is definitely right behind because each trip I take here I will try to visit or stay at this property again. Mr. Cashman is one of my favorite slot machine games to play and a few months ago I won about a $100 that was just from playing 50 cents a spin at this casino.

I loved our stay here. Every room has an ocean view and was very clean. The whole hotel just seemed clean and way better than most of the run-down hotels/casinos in AC. The layout is a little confusing at first with different elevators to different floors but we got the hang of it. We enjoyed our time at the indoor/outdoor pool but will probably splurge for the spa next time to stay away from kids. They have a very nice outside grass area near the lobby. The casino is nice and clean and the games were fun. We lost money on the slots but it didn't spoil our time there. Rooms were a little expensive during the summer but for how nice things are, I can understand. They have nice food options (a cafe and restaurants). It things can add up fast so be sure to bring snacks! We really enjoyed the gym too, it had new machines and was really clean: way better than our home gym and better than other hotels for sure. Can't wait to stay here again!

We loved it here! The hotel, the ambiance, the decor - everything was amazing The concert venue is very new and comfortable. I wound definitely recommend coming to a show here. The casino, the bars, the food - there is so much to do! This resort has ocean views and plenty of spots where you can take in the scenery. I highly recommend this place!

Well, I had to DJ for an event for a client in the Oceans Casino resort meeting room and I was accommodated with a room. 1st off, the Oceans Casino is a gorgeous venue. Almost feels like a futuristic adventure! The structure itself is enormous and looks like something out of Star Wars. At least to me. The escalators goo way up top.. Looks like a spaceship. So then I get to my room.. The room was beautiful! Looked extremely clean.. New.. Up to date. Bathroom was nice, big.. Great shower, sinks.. Bed and sheets were so clean and comfortable.. I'm not much of a gambler but the casino was pretty busy. Staff were really nice and kind. Overall I had a great time out there at the Oceans Casino Resort. Hopefully I'll get back there soon. Whether I DJ or not who knows. But I'll definitely be back there soon!

Loved my stay here! Such a vibe from start to finish. There were so many spots to lounge both indoors and outside, and the indoor/outdoor pool was definitely a highlight- adults-only from 8-10 AM was a nice touch. The location right on the boardwalk couldn't be better, and the room views were absolutely amazing. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and I had the best time.

I booked two rooms here, got one on the 47th floor and one on the 16th floor. I saw the differences in how I was treated for each room. The 16th floor, 90% of the time I could not find someone in housekeeping. The phone just kept ringing. I had to call from the 47th floor for extra amenities for both my rooms. Asked for more tissues for my 16th floor, never saw the tissue box. Extra Towels took over 3 hours to get delivered. Paid over 200 a night and they couldn't even spare a soap dish for our room or two lotions? My other room had a soap dish and two lotions. The view is nice here, but my room on the 16th flop was so dirty. There was tomato sauce stain on the floor and IT WAS SOOOOO DUSTY. It was dusty everywhere, from the silver window panels to the wood about the beds. The worst part was the storage space under the sinks where they store our towels and hair dryer.... They basically placed clean towels on top of dust so our towels were dusty. I always stay at Caesars or Borgata. I will Not be returning to Ocean. The only good part about this hotel was the ocean view and the boardwalk view. Another shark positive is the Asian restaurant inside, the service was amazing and food was huge portions. The inside pool is small and was crowded, we didn't bother going into the people soup. They did not have many blackjack tables either.

What a great hotel and casino! I was here in early November 2025 for a work conference. What left a lasting impression on me is the quality of the room and the catering staff. Wow! The catering folks are true professionals. They were so pleasant and helpful. The level of service they provided was top-notch. I could tell they love their jobs and were very detail oriented. I hope the conference officials pick The Ocean for next year's agenda because it is worth coming back just to be catered to by this staff. The room we stayed in at The Ocean was clean, modern, and comfortable. The view was nothing short of amazing! Actually, no matter where you went in the casino/hotel, the view was jaw-dropping. Clearly, a lot of thought and planning went into the layout of this hotel. The gaming floor left us wanting for nothing. Plenty of slots and table games everywhere. The drink servers were prompt and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

One of the best resorts in the area. Lots of dining options. Gorgeous views. Modern rooms, although some rooms need to be updated. Full sized gym with a variety of equipment including a Peloton section with bikes and rowers. There's also an Exhale spa on site and a shopping area. No need to leave the property, but if you do it's right on the boardwalk. Easy access to the boardwalk and beach. Note: no coffee machine in the rooms.

Nice location along boardwalk with great views. Updated place with lots of architectural features that are interesting. The staff that we encountered were friendly. They really keep this place clean. Saw multiple employees walking around cleaning throughout our visit. Lots of game options - slots and tables. Nice sports bar in middle of casino that had a pit and lots of TVs.

We tried to stay here for a short family vacay, but sadly the hotel was fully booked. I still stopped by to check it out and was impressed--it looked lovely! The décor was modern and clean, and every area I saw was well-lit and spotless. I also liked that there were several shops and restaurants right within the casino resort, making it super convenient. The only downside is the location--it's at one end of the boardwalk, so walking to the other end would be a bit of a hike. That said, they had bicycles available for rent by the hour or day directly in front of the hotel, which is a fun solution. Overall, it's a beautiful spot and I enjoyed my time here.

Ask the Community - Ocean Casino Resort

Are there things for kids to do at Ocean?

Yes, there is an indoor and outdoor pool

Do they have towels at the pool?

Yes, they provide towels at the pool.

    What time is check in?

    3pm

    Is there free parking?

Hello! Self-parking rates are as follows:…

Does the Ocean have a cigar lounge?

There are smoking sections within the casino gaming floor, but not a specific cigar lounge that I know of.

Can non hotel guests use the outside pool?

You have to be a guest of the hotel to be able to access the amenities such as pool, exercise room & etc. Rest of the hotel is open to all guests like shopping districts, great restaurants and nightlight activities.

Can you have food delivered from hotel's restaurants?

Yes, but you will have to pick it up in the Pick up Drop off car service area!! (front valet Entrance) So just order from the district and pick it up there .....easy!

I was getting great offers the past few months. I haven't gotten any offers for November yet. Was thinking maybe it's because the current offers expire on November 5th. Did everyone get their November offers in already ? I know some did for sure.

I haven't been getting any offers either. Super disappointed after months of getting amazing offers I believe weekly! Not sure why it's happening, but I think back in September they were changing the cards and guidelines that go along with them.…

Do they have buses coming from NYC to this casino?

    Yes

Is there an indoor pool and hot tub? What are the hours of the pool?

There's an indoor pool. I'd call the concierge to get more info on that and hours.

I know that platinum card holders get certain upgrades when checking into rooms has any platinum been able to upgrade to a suite complementary on Sunday? Or any day using thief platinum card & how are early has anyone checked in on Sundays

We did the same thing and stayed there last week end on a "casino special offer" showing overnight rate of $99.00. When we checked in another couple next to us was doing the same thing. It must be popular! The place is really pretty, but somewhat…

Do they offer free drinks in the sports book? Or in the Casino in general while playing?

Yes alcohol is free if gambling. I do believe in the sports book you may have to purchase at the bar.

I've stayed at Marriott properties for approximately 12 years and have accumulated 800+ nights with Marriott, so I have a pretty good understanding of the standards I expect from the brand. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Borgata was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had. We checked in Saturday. That evening, we went to put food in our refrigerator and discovered food belonging to a previous guest still inside the fridge. Gross, but I initially brushed it off as an isolated housekeeping oversight. The next morning, things got significantly worse. The TV in our room wasn't working, and when my friend went to take a shower, she discovered a significant amount of someone else's hair sitting in the shower drain. There was also no soap in the bathroom hand-soap dispenser, so we had to call to have that addressed. At that point, we went to the front desk and spoke with Connor, a manager. We explained everything, and he was apologetic and told us he would put a $100 food & beverage credit on our room and send housekeeping up to properly clean the room. We appreciated the response and went back upstairs. Except housekeeping never came. After waiting, I called the concierge to check on the request, only to be told that there was no housekeeping request in the system. The concierge then put one in and I asked how long it would take because we needed to get ready for dinner. I was actually told that I could take a tissue and remove the hair from the shower drain myself. I'm sorry, but absolutely not. I paid to stay in a hotel room. I should not be cleaning another guest's hair out of the shower drain myself. Eventually, housekeeping did come. However, after the housekeeper left, the hair was STILL in the shower drain. I literally had to follow the housekeeper into the hallway and point out that the hair had not been removed. This is not about expecting perfection. Hotels make mistakes. It is about basic cleanliness and the fact that we repeatedly gave the property opportunities to fix the problem, and somehow the most obvious issue was still not addressed. Then, to make matters worse, I received our folio after checking out and discovered that the $100 food & beverage credit Connor specifically promised us was never applied. So now I'm left wondering what, exactly, was being done to resolve the situation. I have stayed at an enormous number of Marriott properties over the years and have never experienced this combination of poor housekeeping, lack of communication, and failure to follow through on a commitment made by management. Food left in the refrigerator. Hair from a previous guest in the shower drain. Missing soap. Broken TV. Housekeeping request not entered. Being told to clean the hair myself. Hair still left in the drain after housekeeping. And finally, the promised $100 credit not applied. That is an extraordinary number of basic failures for one stay. The Borgata is a major property, and as a Marriott-affiliated hotel, I expected significantly better.

    $$

Bally's Atlantic City -- Good Blackjack, Bad Parking, Elevator Tried to Kill Me…read moreVisited: Friday, July 31, 2026 -- roughly 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 3/5 Bally's Atlantic City still feels like a classic gambler's casino, and I mean that as a compliment. Not a nightclub disguised as a casino. Not a luxury lifestyle palace where blackjack has been reduced to four tables next to an aromatherapy lounge. Bally's feels like a place built for people who actually came to gamble, drink and periodically question their financial judgment. The blackjack was the highlight. I found $15 tables with standard 3:2 blackjack payouts, which instantly earned my respect. No surrender, but otherwise a perfectly playable game. Better yet, most of the players actually knew what they were doing. No donk-fest. No splitting tens because Grandma appeared in a dream. No hitting a 14 against a dealer 6 because "the vibes said so." The East Coast table energy was excellent--talking, laughing, ball-busting, collective groaning and the occasional spiritual crisis when the dealer somehow manufactures a 21 out of six cards. Two dealers stood out: Russell, originally from D.C., and Stephen, a local New Jersey guy. Both were entertaining, personable and ran a good table. Good pace, good banter, no nonsense. The craps table was also fun, except apparently the dice had joined organized crime. Nobody got much of a deep run going, including yours truly. I controlled the dice twice and produced two legendary performances: Roll. Seven-out. Twice. That is not craps. That is basically a direct deposit into Bally's operating account. Upstairs there's also a cool rotating bar overlooking the casino floor, and I had a very good gin and tonic there while reflecting on my relationship with probability and poor decision-making. Now for the deductions. First: $20 parking. Twenty bucks to park so I can go inside and voluntarily hand you MORE money? That sucks. Second, and much more importantly, the elevator on the way out nearly turned my foot into an orthopedic case study. I was wearing flip-flops and stepping into the elevator behind a family that had just arrived. My right foot moved forward and, at literally the last second, the elevator suddenly jerked upward what felt like about six inches. My toe slammed into the raised edge, I tripped, and momentum plus gravity sent me forward in a full-body swan dive directly onto the poor woman standing in front of me. There was no dignity left. None. One second I'm leaving Bally's. The next I'm basically performing an involuntary Olympic diving routine into an unsuspecting tourist. Thankfully it ended up being more comical than catastrophic, and nobody appeared seriously hurt. But that elevator movement was absolutely concerning. If a lift can shift noticeably while people are boarding, that is something management needs to inspect immediately. Because today it's my toe and an embarrassing midair embrace with a stranger. Tomorrow, if something mechanical goes seriously wrong, it could be a legitimate safety and liability issue. So Bally's gets 3 stars. The gambling itself? I liked it. Good blackjack rules, competent players, fun dealers, energetic atmosphere, decent craps action and a cool rotating bar. The $20 parking irritated me. The elevator attempting to convert me into human origami cost them another star. Come for the 3:2 blackjack. Stay for the East Coast gambling energy. And apparently watch your damn feet when entering the elevator.

9/13 Bed bugs…read more.. My sister-in-law and I needed to take care of business in Atlantic City and we decided to stay at Bally's. To our surprise the room had bed bugs. The following morning my sister-in-law had an emergency meeting she needed to attend so she left me the responsibility of reporting the incident. Initially, I called the front desk to report the incident, they told me that I needed to file a report. No problem, I go to the front desk upon my departure, I tell the attendant my concern, she reports that SECURITY needs to take my information to start the filing/complaint process. Cool, no problem, strange...but no problem. As I'm waiting for security, a manager, I believe, walks to me and asks can he help me. I explain my concern, he reports that filing an incident report was the correct thing to do. He reported something about reimbursing me but seemingly his concern about the bed bug seemed minimized. At this point, a security person walks over and I explained to her my concern. She takes a picture of my sister-in-law's Bally's card, takes a picture of my license and states that my sister-in-law should file a report as well. I leave the hotel, contact my sister-in-law, tell her what she needed to do and leave the rest to her. The following day she attempts to contact Bally's as a follow up and they tell her, the Bally's rewards member, that there's nothing that she needs to do. So what's the resolution...none to this point. My resolution is that it will be a cold day in hell before I step foot back into their hotel/casino. But if you decide to do so...check the linen before you go to sleep.

They gave us a "complimentary upgrade" to the Ocean Tower even though we had booked 2 months ago for the Rendezvous Tower. We were not impressed with the "upgrade". It was like they divided 2 rooms to make one. The TV is too far from the bed to really watch it, the sofa was dirty and stained. The bathrooms were much smaller with 24" vanity in bathrooms with no place to place your toiletries. The shower was nice ...and extremely slippery. Yes they did supply a rubber mat that was probably 18" long at best. So proper placement before water hits the slippery floor was imperative. The sink faucets cold water was always warm and the shower water was at best lukewarm. We did go and complain about this and they offered us a "comped" meal at the VIP. More about that later in this post. We have ALWAYS had some sort of water view (even if so slight) and with the upgrade we got a dirty rooftop with spotlights ‍ Casino floor had very few "cocktail" Waitresses for water or coffee (we don't drink) We were also "comped" VIP dining for one night. It was horrible. Dried jerk chicken, pork was under cooked, the soup was like a salt lick and just a couple of bite size dessert options. I guess they expect people to just go and drink. Good thing I was able to fill up on a salad and lemon water. Not sure if we'll be coming back to this casino in the future.

Although I didn't sleep or stay at resorts, I did go to visit to gamble. I find they have a nice…read morearray of games and you could win a little here. Employees were very friendly as were the waitresses. It's not as glitzy or glamorous as the Borgata or Ocean, but still a decent casino. Parking here is $10 compared to the HARDROCK which was $25 on a Sunday which I find to be outrageous. Too bad I parked at the HR first !
