Instead of handling that professionally, he responded rudely, saying he knew my name from caller ID -- something I had no way of knowing. When I accidentally gave the wrong CVV number, I apologized, and his response was irritated and disrespectful, saying, "Damn, we gotta do it all over again." I then provided the information again, including my tip amount. Before finishing, I started to ask for his name because I wanted to confirm I was speaking to a legitimate employee before sharing card information. He abruptly hung up on me -- not just ended the call, but slammed the phone down. I'm extremely upset because I order from Domino's fairly often, and this was some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. No customer should be spoken to rudely or have the phone hung up on them for asking reasonable questions about their payment security. I would appreciate someone calling me back or making this right, because this was unacceptable. What upset me most is that there seems to be no meaningful way to report this behavior. Customers deserve respect, and if I ask an employee to verify information before I give out my card details, that should be handled professionally -- not with hostility.
