I have been searching for a salon and stylist that truly cares about the health of your hair and who knows how to cut hair properly. Most salons CANNOT cut hair professionally even though they charge you for said "professional cut." Angela will give you an outstanding cut. I firmly believe that my hair grew faster and healthier because of it. My hair was so damaged, tangled and breaking off from hormones and stress. Angela was so sweet and extremely informative about hair health and products. She has a pleasant and gentle energy that transfers to how she handles the service that you're getting. She is honest and gives you all the information regarding your hair as well as how to take care of it "after" the appointment. Every single time I go to Angela my hair looks and feels so healthy, shiny and gorgeous. My scalp feels clean and my my hair has so much body. My style lasts for 7 to 10 days guaranteed when I use a silk bonnet and minimal product. Angela is the best!! Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with Rachel at Bold City Hair. I sought her services during a vulnerable time while dealing with medical-related hair loss, and I left feeling taken advantage of rather than cared for. During my consultation, I was told that my extension service included routine maintenance appointments, such as mini move-ups. However, when it came time for those maintenance visits, my appointments were repeatedly canceled--often multiple times in a row. Rescheduling frequently took several days, only for the new appointment to be canceled again. In contrast, the appointments that involved larger charges, such as removing and reinstalling the extensions, were kept. That pattern left me questioning whether my prepaid maintenance appointments were being prioritized. I also had services added to my bill, including a special scalp treatment, without discussing or obtaining my approval beforehand. Additionally, I was charged for a full highlight service on my scalp even though the area would ultimately be covered by a full hair topper, which did not seem appropriate or necessary in my situation. Another concern was the salon environment. During my appointments, I noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the stylist's hands, which made the experience unpleasant. My advice is to ask detailed questions during your consultation about exactly what maintenance is included, how cancellations are handled, whether additional services will ever be performed without your consent, and what their policies are regarding rescheduling. I wish I had done so. I cannot recommend this business based on my experience, and I hope sharing it helps others make an informed decision.

She talks back to the clients in a disgusting tone/ attitude and blames the clients are not educated enough what they "should be" asking for instead. Unprofessional behavior for a "manager". Taylor the stylist was completely unprofessional and claimed clients are "uneducated", as reference photos given prior to appointment weren't enough to prove the job wasn't done properly. After terrible service and was not given what asked for, even after reference photos, they refused to fix the hair to satisfy the costumer. If i could rate 0 stars i would. Absolutely disgusting behavior and certification among these stylists should be reconsidered.
