Always been a fan of Wetzel's except for this time after trying their new Smores bitz. Their ad posted looked so delicious so I had to try them nut when the order was handed to me in a upright paper bag ... it looked like nothing from the picture on the poster!!!! Really? First of all the pictured smores was served in way of spread out bitz horizontally on a tray box.., My order was jammed pack in a vertical paper bag and was so messy to eat since the pretzels were just drizzled on the top and threw in a handful of mini marshmallows . It was a mess to eat ! The pretzels tasted stale not like what I used or accustomed to eating those mini dogs or pizza bites. I'm hoping this will be handled or served just like how it is shown on the ads!!!

I love that you can watch the pretzels be made right in front of you. It's nice that there are salted and unsalted options too. There's also a bunch of drinks you can try and even mini hot dogs wrapped in pretzel dough. Service: quick and efficient service. this location is in the Inland mall across from Carter's. It's not hard to find and the staff is really friendly! Price is about $5 per pretzel, which is decent for their size. It's a perfect snack when you're shopping and I always have a good experience here. Be sure to stop by and check it out! There's wifi in the mall and restrooms are located nearby. Plenty of parking outside the foodcourt and at each mall entrance.

I adored all the little trinkets and delicatessen touches throughout the space. The sweet, funny duo behind the counter truly made it feel like home. As I was buying my sausages. soft pretzels, and potato salad, the lady said very little to me and the gentleman, nothing at all. When I tried speaking German, the lady said she didn't remember much of the language anymore. This blunt, "tell it like it is" way of interacting is pretty much how my family used to be, so I found it familiar -- even comforting. But it's easy to see how this can rub people the wrong way, especially if they're used to American (or even modern German) - style customer service. Everyone who found this rude is making reasonable statements. But to me this is more a case of people who have been doing the same thing for a long time without making updates. Decor-wise, place also seems to recreating the Germany that someone remembers from decades ago. The blue and white bunting, the beer steins, the picture of the Pope and other memorabilia make the place feel distinctly Bavarian, in a touristy way. A lot of places in Germany, even in the more traditional south have moved on. But my hope is that this place does continue until the proprietors retire with dignity or sell the business to some German-Americans with a passion for prepping and selling this type of food.

Pretzelmaker is so underrated…read more I've had Auntie Anne's and Wetzel's Pretzels but nothing compares to Pretzelmaker. What stands out is that Pretzelmaker soft pretzels are fluffier and lighter, and have a better overall taste IMO. They are what I describe as "pillowy goodness" and they always come out piping hot! Pretzelmaker is located in the lower-level of the Moreno Valley Mall next to Macy's. Pro-Tip: Park in the lot between the Macy's and JC Penney stores. There's an entrance that leads you down a corridor closest to Pretzelmaker. Because the pretzels are made fresh to order, there is a bit of a wait time. But the wait is always worth it. My favorite items to get are: * Mozzarella Stuffed Pretzel Bites with Pepperoni (buttered, Unsalted) * Pretzel Bites The lady (owner, maybe?) who's been making the pretzels does a fantastic job kneading the dough and making these delightful bites! And -- shhh --- they are the perfect treat to take inside Harkins movie theater (in your purse, of course). Much more satisfying than popcorn! Pretzelmaker, you are simply the best and completely irresistible!

Although I was the only one in line and ordering, the wait time was a little long (8ish minutes) but it was well worth it as it completely blew my expectations out of the water. It was fluffy and the cheese was delicious which when you combined it with the marinara sauce made a mouthwatering combination. When compared to Auntie Anne's or Wretzels Pretzels, it is superior in every aspect and its unfortunate that Pretzelmaker is located in Moreno Valley Mall as if it were located in a bigger location (like Ontario Mills or Galleria), it would be much busier and bring it a lot more attention then it's getting currently.

Meat was juicy, sauce is plentiful, and it all conglomerates into a messy sandwich of deliciousness. Sausages are the other star here. The Spicy Hungarian sausage with mustard was absolutely a banger as well. It's a nice light kick and savory flavor with each bite. We finished off with a Cherry strudel which was not too sweet but still had the nice sugary finish of a dessert. I feel like I'm rambling but long story short, great food, great beer, great time. Have a slice of European cuisine out in Calimesa.

The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.
