The food was amazing! We ordered the vegetable deep-dish pizza, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. We also tried the S'mores Pizookie, which was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. I would definitely come back just for both of these! The service was excellent as well. Our waitress was attentive, checked on us regularly, and made sure we received everything in a timely manner. The restaurant was completely full and super packed, but they were very well staffed and kept everything running smoothly. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back! read more

Lack of professionalism! Hello, our server was Ashley. We came in got told by the host just to take a booth and she pointed over to it and didn't even walk us with menus. Our server then sees us proceeds to come over say I'll be with you and about 5 minutes later brings us menus not her fault at all so understandable. She asks us if we want drinks we ask for water and she says are you ready to order? We said no so we can have a few minutes. She left for 10 minutes came back we ordered and we all got the $13 deal. When my girlfriend started to ask about the flavors she stopped her and said" are you gonna eat it now"? She said no so the waitress said " so we'll worry about that later. She then left did not put our orders in and went to 2-3 other tables in the meantime. Then after that ours our orders in after walking past saying what we got again. SHE DID NOT WRITE ANYTHING DOWN! She messed up my order and I also let the manager know on duty and she proceeded to be more frustrated afterwards. She even left for a while conversing laughing with other co workers for about 7 minutes and I have a photo of this. I even had to get up out of my seat to ask for my bill, to go boxes and silverware. We also ordered pasta and asked for tomato to be removed as the sauce and add Alfredo because my girlfriend is allergic and she said yeah we can do that. My girlfriend says " so anything with tomato even if it's not the sauce can we remove it" the waitress goes " well that would include everything so " but she said it with a demeaning tone. TVs hang around the restaurant and a bar is located in the center for any sports fans who wish to hang out and catch up on a game. For any birthday celebrations a pizookie is on the house! What an improvement!!! I was hesitant to go here after my last visit but to my surprise it was an amazing lunch! Our waitress was friendly, polite, helpful, knowledgeable... I honestly can't give enough adjectives to describe how amazing she was. She took our orders, brought drinks and refills regularly, came to the table often, and even helped us figure out the menu when we were stuck. She even helped the kids with their orders and gave a suggestion for the birthday boy. Everyone agreed that the service was exceptional, even if the food was average. Dropped in for a last hot meal and drinks with ice before raving/camping at Nocturnal Wonderland and enjoyed our happy hour munchfest at the bar. I live on Maui so I was looking for something with a BJs vibe as we don't have them on island and they delivered. HH priced avocado egg rolls with a tangy dipping sauce were very filling and cheap and something I had been craving, wings were nibblingly good, HH rita hit the spot, and our water/soda drinks were kept topped up with ice and refills by the friendly staff at the bar. This one is our favorite, they are the most consistent with food quality, good service, taste, temperature, and special requests. It's always fairly busy but for good reason. Came in for the $5 Tuesday pizookie deal with a group of 8. The hostess told us it'd be a 30-45 minute wait. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting for a little over an hour and twenty minutes. We come almost every Tuesday, so we understood that it would be busy, but we definitely would've preferred to go off of a wait time that was more accurate. Some in our party had other plans to get to later. When we checked in with the hostess after around an hour, she dismissed us claiming that our table "would be ready in five minutes." When we checked again after another 10, she was unfortunately remarkably rude and snarky in her response. She pointed at two tables and told us they were ours, but they needed to be pushed together. I watched as they were pushed and set up but then were left alone for almost another 10 minutes. One of my party members asked if we could sit, and the hostess laughed and said "if you want." Once we sat, we watched her call over two waitresses, point at our table, and laugh while looking at us. Not the most pleasant experience. These staff members had likely worked all day and were really tired, and thus I believe I checked in as politely as I knew how, but still received service that felt akin to some kind of high school squabble. We were not helped at our table for another 5-10 minutes. For the first time in my life, I asked to speak to the manager. She was nice, but ultimately brushed us off saying there wasn't much to do because "they were so busy." I understand how busy it gets--but I don't find being laughed at by the hostess and being given a pretty far off wait time something that could be brushed off as easily as it was. It really did feel like our unpleasant experience was being minimized and almost disregarded. Our waitress, Jennasen, was amazing. Although there was still an extended wait for pizookies (not her fault in the slightest), she was upfront and really pleasant. This particular Tuesday seemed hard on the staff, as even the table near us asked us how long we had been waiting. However, as a service worker myself, I don't feel that the service we received from the hostess nor the dismissal from the manager was warranted. My mom and I came in for lunch. We thought we'd skip the lunch rush at 1:30-ish, but inside was packed and a bit of a wait line outside - about 10 minutes for us. We were seated in a room that had a party of 12, looking like they were finishing up and lingering over last bites and conversation. However, something was happening with the large party, and the server spent a good amount of time attending to their needs. It took a while, but our server acknowledged us and took our drink and lunch orders. She was friendly and made apologies for the delay. Drinks were brought and a minute or so later, cream & sugar. A different person brought our food. We were checked on, but we had no needs at that time. Boxes were brought with the check. We didn't see our busy server after that. I ordered steak and wedge and my mom ordered calamari and a wedge salad. Our food came out pretty quickly, so it surprised me that the steak on mine was room temperature. I figured that, because it was with salad, it was that way so it wouldn't make the lettuce limp. My mom said her fried crispy calamari was delicious, but also not very warm. Even so, my mom liked her calamari and on mine, the flavorful chimichurri on the steak stood out. I could tell there was a busy lunch rush by the state of the restroom floor. 3 of the 4 stalls were out of toilet paper, but the customer prior to me went to tell the hostess, who came bearing rolls. I imagine a cleaning would soon follow. Checking out was online with a table QR code. We probably could've paid in the traditional way, but we hadn't seen our server since boxes were brought. My mom, at 81, wanted to pick up the tab, so I helped her navigate that process. Without me, this would've been challenging for her. Overall, the food was fine, the service was okay. Well here are the details. Walked in the place is semifull walked over to the desk to check in the lady with no smile. No hello or how are you or how can I help? You says how many in your party? She proceeded to sit me in the far corner of the simi half restaurant check out pictures. I need to get up after hearing about 8 chirps from some kind of alarm indicating that the batteries are low. So I proceeded back to the check-in station waited for the receptionist to recognize me. I asked to be receded to another location. She said I would have to be put in a queue. Looking back at the front door there was about 50 people now waiting to be seated. I said is the bar open and she said yes and I just walked right over there. Very poor reception which needs to be retrained or put in the back to talk to boxes. Now sitting at the bar when I sat down there was one other person sitting four seats away. The bartender asked for my drink order right away. After that I proceeded to order more cup of of clam chowder and their chicken potstickers. I had asked the waiter to make sure the soup was hot even if he has to put it in the microwave. Once I received it I took a taste of it and it was lukewarm and he instantly put it back into the microwave I believe to get it nice and hot. First time I saw the soup in the cup. I said it's a half bowl of a cup of a soup. Once I received it the second time hot I proceeded to stick my spoon in there and you can see in the pictures it barely touches the top quarter of the goop of the spoon but it was hot. The potstickers came shortly after they were hot to touch which was nice. Took my first bite and you must see the pictures. Potstick herself is covered by a doe not wonton skin, And even though they say on the menu is chicken with other things mixed into it does not taste like chicken at all. You decide with the pictures, it might be goo from McDonald's chicken. It also comes with coleslaw on the bottom with some crispy white noodles. White noodles will cover with some type of oil. Don't know what kind. Could not taste it at all. Definitely was not olive oil or avocado oil. I kept a sample of that item in a box to take back to really break it down. What's in it? Next thing I ordered was a beef dip sandwich without the coleslaw french fries crispy side of mustard and we'll see what I get when it comes out. Food time of the Beef sandwich and French fries The sandwich and fries came out in 20 minutes and of course the fries I noticed right away were not crispy as I order pluse they add salt witch I also ask not to have on the fries, the meat in the sandwich came out like warm also dry check out pictures. The second batch of fries came out correct no salt and crispy. As a top winning competition chef I really do not like the food it really doesn't taste like freshly made food at all. I've eaten here many times, and the food is usually quite good. On my last visit, I ordered the chicken pot stickers from the happy hour menu, and they were not that great. I was offered a choice of fried or pan-fried. I assumed that fried meant deep fried, so I picked that. The dumplings I was served were pan-fried. The filling was an under-seasoned ground chicken with a bit of a pasty texture. The slaw served with the potstickers was tasty, but the dipping sauce was incredibly salty. I would not order this dish again. I also ordered a personal BJ's Favorite pizza, and that was really good! The only real downside of this location is that the people at the hostess station are kind of unwelcoming. There is often a group of people at the station who are more interested in chatting with each other than greeting a customer. The main hostess during the day acts like you're annoying her with your request for a table, even though the restaurant isn't that busy. The waitstaff seems to get overwhelmed when it does get busy, so you often have to flag someone down if you need something. Despite the staff problems, I still like BJ's and will return. read more

It's a San Bernardino staple. This place has been here for a while. There's ample parking and the parking lot is in amazing shape. it's pretty easy to find right off the 10 freeway. I came for the sampler platter as I always do. The food was cooked amazingly. The string cheese sticks had a great cheese pool and the wings were crispy. The servers do their best to seat you immediately and the restaurant is always clean. The staff is really friendly and tonight I had Timothy as my server at the bar. He was absolutely my favorite. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience from start to finish. When we arrived, we asked for a table for two adults and one child. We were told the wait would only be a couple of minutes, and that part went smoothly--we received a text within the estimated wait time and were called to the front. However, when the host came to seat us, she continued a conversation with a coworker and repeated the same phrase several times before finally leading us to our table standing not moving but saying "follow me". It wasn't a great first impression. After being seated, it took about five minutes for our server, Dahlia, to greet us. We ordered two waters, a Dr Pepper, a hard root beer float, and our appetizers. The appetizers arrived before any of our drinks, and no one informed us they were out of the hard root beer. We only found out after we flagged down another employee to find our server, and by that point our food had already been delivered while we were still waiting on our drinks.a Another issue was cleanliness. All three sets of silverware at our table had visible food residue and hard water streaks, which was very off-putting. When a food runner brought out one of our meals, I asked for a side of ranch. He said he'd be right back, but never returned. A few minutes later I saw him delivering a tray full of condiments to another table, and he had completely forgotten about our ranch. At the end of the meal, I ordered a Pizookie as part of the Pizookie Meal Deal, which includes one Pizookie, and I paid the $5 upgrade for the s'mores version. I also ordered an additional s'mores Pizookie. When I looked at my receipt, I noticed I had been charged $11.79 for something listed only as "1 Cup Vanilla." It didn't indicate that it was the second Pizookie, which was confusing to both me and another employee. When I asked Dahlia about it, she explained that the charge was for the second Pizookie. Whether it was entered incorrectly or just not clearly labeled, the receipt did not accurately reflect what I ordered. Throughout the meal, it also seemed like several employees were more focused on talking with each other than paying attention to guests. At one point I even tried to get another waitress's attention for assistance, but she walked right past me while talking to a coworker and never noticed. Overall, there were multiple service issues, poor communication, forgotten requests, dirty silverware, and confusion with the bill. The food and service was good until after the halfway point. The service got slower. I ordered a pizzookie. Didnt come out for around 20 minutes. (Still didnt come out). Finally i had to tell the covering waitress that i didnt want it anymore because we got tired of waiting for it. Apparently the table next to us were waiting for their pizzookies as well. Even though it was an incredibly busy day, he remained friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Had horrible service tonight, enough to not frequent this particular establishment again. We were sat for 10-15 minutes and no one came to greet us or take our order. I finally asked a server if she knew who the server for that table was and she stated the was having issues with another table and she would take our order in the meantime. That should have been indication enough to request a different server. Anyway, our order was taken of which my husband ordered lemon pepper wings all flats. A while later an order of wings came and the person dropping them off was confused as to what table they were for. The server pointed at what looked like our table so the young girl dropped off the wings at our table after asking who ordered wings and I pointed at my husband. He grabbed the first wing and noticed they were not all flats and so the server came up and scolded him for taking the wings since they were not for him but for the table next to us. Since he had already taken a bite off one wing she shook her hand at him in a scolding way and told him "it's ok, it's ok keep them". He passed them around our table to the rest of the family and took a couple for himself. After the food for everyone in our party (5 other guests) and his order didn't arrive. We asked the server who very annoyed told my husband he and already eaten his wings so he would not be getting another order. She had not comped the incorrect order of wings like she made it seem so now he was getting no diner. She was very annoyed and went to get a manager who was extremely rude and unprofessional and asked my husband to state weather he wanted another order of wings and he would be charged for them. At this point my food went cold from not eating trying to get the situation explained and I was in disbelief of the poor service. Not only did this waitress not greet us for at least 10 minutes, she didn't bring the oranges for the beer we requested, didn't bring to two sides of ranch and one side of jalapenos. Didn't check on us and on top of it made it seem like it was our fault for getting the wrong order. The fact that she was delayed for having issues with another table says enough about Ebony. The fact that Andrew the supposed manager didn't see the customers side is totally unprofessional. We will not return here again. If I could give 0 stars for todays visit I would. They ruined our family outing and made things very uncomfortable. I will be calling corporate office tomorrow and filing a grievance regarding how rude Andrew was when handling our complaint. First time at this location and we absolutely loved it. We were greeted with smiles. Eve du one was dressed in Disney yesterday! Our host said everyday they dress in different themes so I think that makes it fun! They asked if we needed a kids menu and we said yes. They gave a coloring book and crayons. Our waiter was Jimmy and he was absolutely great! He was very polite, nice, patient and calm. He kept checking on our table frequently and he was just so respectful. We loved our waiter! We had dinner here last night, Celebrated my son's bday. I made a reservation for 10 people, and after all the bill came closer to $500 bucks. Appetizers, entrée, alcoholic drinks, etc. Our server was Joel, he was very attentive, all smiles, from him we received great service. Here is where my 2 stars go: 2 of our guests arrived afew minutes after we had been seated. I waved at them letting them know where we were seating at. They had brought their baby with them on a stroller and their toddler as well. I was not aware that when they arrived, the three ladies, the Hostess that were at the front had not greeted them well. They made comments like, oh you guys are with them? We are fully book and there's a long wait. Mind you, I made a reservation. The only accommodation that was needed, was, space for the stroller and a high chair. When I was made aware of the rude comments and mean faces made to them at the front, I looked for Joel. He was already speaking with the manager, to accommodate my guests. I let him know that that wouldn't be necessary after all, that my son's uncle and aunt have decided not to stay, after the comments from the hostess. Joel apologized for the unfortunate event, the manager just walked away. I have been here before, and had never encountered an experience like the one they had. Decided to come check out BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse for lunch with my LOVE. We went into a packed house, obviously knowing we were going to have to wait a minute. The front house wasn't welcoming or friendly. The young lady had a "I don't want to be her type of energy." Then, on top of that, a couple came in after us to be put on the wait list. The front staff let them go ahead of the que, which really upset us and others that were waiting too. We almost left because it wasn't cool at all! We then decided that since we had already waited for 20 minutes, what was another 5-10 minutes going to do. We finally got seated. Then we were greeted by such a friendly waitress she absolutely saved the day. Her amazing attitude was an absolute delight. Made us forget about the crappy front staff. We literally never had to ask for anything. I'm so sad I forgot her name, because she was awesome. We got our food, and it was hot and fresh. Came at 10 pm for some food with friends, ordered the boneless buffalo wings and on my second wing I found a small curly hair cooked into the wing, when I let the server know he took it back to the kitchen and brought me a new one thanfully but I'm not very satisfied with the compensation of it, he let me know that the cook himself is bald so that made me feel worse about it as it could've been a pubic hair(short and curly) a friend lost his appetite for a bit and I recieved no discount. We went to celebrate my birthday with close friends, a party of six. We made reservations and had to wait about 10 minutes before seating. We should of known our night was going to be bad, considering they sat us at a table and then informed us we had to move based on another party of the same amount of people needed our table. We informed them that our mother was blind and needed to be seated under a light where we were at. However, they didn't care and informed us we still needed to move. Ok, let's get to our server. Her name was Elise R. After being re-seated, it took her about ten minute's to take our order, she hacked that up pretty fast. I asked for tonic water and lime and received club soda and lemon. Then came the appetizers (Bread with dipping sauce) without side plates to put them on. We asked for extra sauce, never came!!!. We ordered another side of bread because they only gave us four pieces. That didn't come until our meal was served. How about this, the server reached over me at the table, handed my Wife a plate of food to give to her sister Yvonne that was sitting next to her. What's wrong with walking around the table and placing the plate of food in front of the person who ordered it. Not only that that, Yvonne ordered soup that came late because they forgot it and plus it was cold. However, I will give them this, the meals were good, but our niece ordered her burger plain and it came with sauce on it. So everyone was almost done eating when she received her meal. Now comes our desserts. They never cleared the table of used dishes. We had to place the dirty dishes on another table, after waiting twenty minutes. The Pizookie, which BJ's is famous for, took another twenty minutes to come to the table. They were overcooked and dry. Overall, the worst experience of dining we have ever had. The service was horrendous!!!, We will never eat at this place again or recommend it to anyone. We went out for dinner to celebrate my 67 years on this planet and left very disappointed. read more

After a dreadful day we decided to come to BJs for food and drinks for the hubby and I. We signed in and were told we would wait 20 minutes. We ended up being called right away, 5 minutes after signing in. Hostess were really nice and friendly. I appreciated the smiles on this day. Food was great. We ordered pizza and avocado egg rolls. 10/10 My husband ordered a Moscow mule and I ventured with the lucky ducky cocktail. Both 10/10 Ezequiel our server was very attentive, friendly and great attitude. After having an awful morning this really lightened my mood and was thankful for great service and people. Ambiance was good too. We were able to arrive during a less busy time and was able to enjoy a great meal and drinks. read more
