She tinted my brows and Raul, who is a hairstylist here match the color. If I could recommend any salon in Sacramento to any person who would ever ask me, it would always be true encompass beauty . My husband and I recently visited Tru Encompass Beauty for their Tru You Spa package, hoping for a luxurious and relaxing day. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations from the very beginning. The frustration started when I initially contacted the spa to book the package. The person assisting me misquoted the price, couldn't answer basic questions about the different packages, and provided incorrect information. When I received my confirmation email, it included inaccurate details about the times and package. I had to call again to get everything sorted, which was an unnecessary hassle. The spa promised "an unforgettable luxury spa day," but nothing about it felt luxurious. The Gold Room was okay, but nothing special. There was a cart set up with champagne, juice for mimosas, fruit, and water. They also placed a birthday hat on the cart, knowing it was my husband's birthday, which was thoughtful. However, things quickly went downhill with the steam room. The room itself felt more like a basic locker room shower with a steam machine. The steam wasn't even hot when we entered, as it had just been turned on, and it only began to heat up right before we had to leave. It was underwhelming at best. Next, we were led to side-by-side treatment tables so I could have my massage while my husband had a facial. It was a bummer to not have both treatments simultaneously, especially because my husband had to lie face down in the massage chair after his facial--something we both felt was uncomfortable and a bit gross. The 90-minute massage and facial were average at best. The facial was performed by Kimberly who was friendly and pleasant, but the facial itself was much shorter than expected with the rest of the time spent massaging my arms, legs, and feet. My husband also felt his facial was too short, and overall, both of us were disappointed with how basic and unremarkable the treatments were. One of the most surprising disappointments was lunch. We were given a menu from a nearby sandwich shop and could choose our meal when we arrived. A luxury spa should offer more than a mediocre sandwich wrapped in paper. I've had more luxurious lunch presentations from a basic deli. It was an underwhelming, not very good and not the experience we were hoping for. The massage performed by Vanessa was relaxing but nothing special. Unfortunately, she was not particularly friendly, and her demeanor made it seem like she really didn't want to be at work. From the steam room to the massage and facial to the lackluster lunch, Tru Encompass Beauty failed to live up to its promises. We had high hopes for a luxurious, memorable experience, but everything felt just okay--nothing special or worth the premium price. Terrible communication, ruined a birthday surprise and zero follow-up from owner: I booked a 60 minute Gold Room couples massage as a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. The appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM. I arrived early and was told there would be a short delay. That delay turned into over 60 minutes of waiting with no communication. There were no updates, no explanation, and the front desk staff member who initially spoke with me was unavailable for most of the wait. Eventually, I was told we could only receive a 30 minute massage instead of the full hour I booked and paid for. Because we had other birthday plans, I had no choice but to cancel and request a refund. Afterward, I emailed the owner, Jill Petersen, directly. She responded with an apology and said she would follow up and make things right. That follow up never happened. It has now been three months with no update, no resolution, and no accountability. Mistakes happen, but being ignored after reaching out privately, especially after being told there would be a follow up, shows a lack of professionalism. If the owner cannot take responsibility after the fact, that says a lot about how issues are handled here. I would not recommend this spa, particularly for special occasions. Update and reply to Jill's comment below: I want to clarify the record for anyone reading this. On September 7th, you emailed me apologizing for the situation and stated that you would "follow up accordingly." I waited and sent a follow-up email on September 21st with no response. I then followed up again on December 17th, stating that I was done waiting and would leave a review. Only after that did you reply, still without offering any resolution or gesture. Your recent comment claiming that you offered to make this right is not accurate. While you did apologize, no offer to resolve the issue or make amends was ever made. The lack of follow-up and accountability is the core issue here, and I want potential customers to understand that. read more

We had 30 minutes in the sauna which is in the bathroom, I never liked sauna but it was actually relaxing and it smelled fresh, my sister loved it. We had 60 minutes each for a massage, I got the trü essence and my sister did the 60 minutes deep tissue. I had Rya and she was very gentle , she made me comfortable! I was staying at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel and learned about the spa next door. First, I would like to start by mentioning how happy I was with the staff because I left a message, and someone called back and set up an appointment for me. I was lucky enough to have Holly come in on her day off. Important to know!!! I thought this was an actual spa with a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, but that is not the case. This is a hair salon, and they have 2 massage rooms. 1 is a single massage room, and then they have a dual couple style room. You can also book a 30 min Steam room but be prepared for a $90 fee. I never asked if there was a fee for this because I just thought it was part of the spa. Back to my massage: Holly was amazing, especially since my neck and low back were aggravated, and I was not doing too well. She asked questions and knew exactly how to help relax the muscles. Such a beautiful salon! I came here to get a haircut by Alissa. She is amazing! I am very over protective about who I let cut my hair and I trusted her skill set completely with her relaxed vibe with me during the consultation. She understood exactly what I wanted while still offering suggestions to improve my overall look. After she cut my hair she gave me a styling and I was completely overjoyed with my new hair. She took off about 8 inches or so (was a drastic cut) and I can't stop looking at myself in the mirror lol. She also used this amazing shampoo that they sell at the salon that helps exfoliate the scalp from buildup. I met Holly Enrile when she so generously volunteered her massage services for our school's Teacher Appreciation Week when I sought out masseuses as a PTO board member. I came in later for my own massage and it was wonderful. I am 1% away from having carpal tunnel in my left hand and she helped it to feel a lot better after.
