The cafe is set in a vintage train car, which is definitely funky & fun. The artwork is tons of pictures of the Alaskan railroad. Service was quick & efficient. The waffles are delicious, and they have a few different fun topping options to choose from. Their savory selection is much smaller compared to the options they have for sweet waffles. If you're super hungry and looking for a place for a hearty, savory breakfast this is not it. I ordered the mother clucker & truffle shuffle. The mother clucker was a chicken & waffles concept with maple glaze. The fried chicken is put into the batter, and cooked into the waffles. So it's a bit of an untraditional take on the southern classic. It makes sense why they serve it this way though because all their waffles are meant to be eaten with your hands. The truffle shuffle was a waffle drizzled with nut Rella & strawberry jam. Nutella & strawberries is one of my fav flavor combos for crepes so I very much enjoyed this waffle as well. The waffles themselves were cooked well. The batter was light, and the waffles were crispy. I also got an autumn themed latte, which I enjoyed. It wasn't overly sweet, but you can add sugar if you want to change that. I don't think I'd go here if I was super hungry, and looking for a meal.
