Owner could have easily said "sorry i'm firm on my prices" instead of saying "i feel insulted" and then to start arguing with you which we weren't trying to insult you but the markups are crazy especially on pokémon cards too. I was taken back at the awkwardness of the conversation and how he acted like a little child about it. I'm glad i'm not the only customer that experienced this type of rudeness. Will be telling my friends not to go to this shop.

Parking is available across the street near the goodwill or if you can get a spot on the street. We came in and there were piles of books next to the bookshelves. The sections aren't completely labeled, but if you read enough, you can see what category the bookkeeper has placed the books in. There isn't a certain order (alphabetically or anything). You go in and you peruse what is available . The bookseller is also hanging out in the front and will let you look at the front room or the back room. We saw the children's section, science, graphic novels, AAPI, and fantasy. Their romance was scattered around the store. I did end up leaving with a book purchase. I will say it's hard to look at everything because the lights were also flickering, although there is sunlight coming in. It was quite overwhelming to look at books. Upon entering, I realized the shop was much larger than I had expected. Looks like it may have been 2 shops merged into one at some point. My boyfriend is in one of the bands that played here which they've played once before. We recently got into comics and reading again so we went in to supper their bookstore. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we walked in the store. There were so many book organized into their own sections. This made the book easier to look through. Recently I've been into horror book and that section did not disappoint. I ended up getting Stephen King's Pet Cemetery. The prices of the book were on the lower side which was very nice!. As for the concert aspect, it was another amazing hard core show. The bands were amazing and I have to give some love to the staff running the concert. A fight broke out and two members of the staff took care of it. They kicked the guy out who started it and was there for the guy that got hurt. Overall this is an amazing location and I will be back for another concert/book shopping session.

Hello, I've been to…read morethis comic book shop a few times. I like the selection and the layout is really user friendly. I'm rather new to comic collecting and I've been trying to keep my collection growing, but because I'm new to the hobby I don't always know how things work so I try to ask questions to the workers at the stores I visit. The store has one person who is honestly kind of rude. He is an older bald white guy. I've interacted with him a few times in the past briefly but I always felt he was kinda short and rude with me in comparison to how he interacts with other guests . I thought maybe I am overthinking the interaction so I always just let it slide and kept coming back. I told my partner briefly about this and he even agreed that maybe it could be me over thinking. I went in with my partner and this time I asked a question to the cashier about comic releases and the rude guy interjected and made condescending comments about me not knowing how releases work and overall made me feel really stupid. His whole energy just makes me feel like I'm not welcome and that I'm less than because I'm new to the comic hobby. When we left the store my partner immediately was like "is that the guy that is always rude to you?" I don't think I will come back to this store again because of how rude and unprofessional that guy is. He just really lacks customer service skills.

I can't speak to much on the value because I was just going in to take a look at the time (and didn't purchase anything on that particular visit), but from the price tags, everything that I saw seemed very reasonable. This is the type of place that I would have spent a lot of my paper route or minimum wages I earned when I was a kid. I probably would have spent hours here and been here all the time if this place was near me growing up. If you are into comic books and related collectibles, this place is an absolute gem.

I recently brought in approximately 200 cards to get looked at to see if I had anything good…read moreknowing that a few of them were very good cards, others we just had a question. I brought in some duos from 2016 specifically a luxury from a 25 year anniversary Pack and others in which are now missing. We left our cards there for sometime and they did attempt to call in which I accept full responsibility but they should have been left in a pack until we got back from vacation. I got approximately 25 cards back only and they said that their procedure is to put all cards in stock if they are not picked up within a couple weeks, which is absolutely unheard of. I have now lost all my valuable cards specifically the ones of high dollar amount and rarity. I did go in to speak to somebody with no resolve just a bunch of false claims. I recommend you take video and picture of anything and ask procedure as I believe employees have stolen my cards. It is a very unfortunate situation. I am extremely disappointed.
