Our guests absolutely loved how unique the space was. With a guest count of 200, we felt that the reception hall was perfectly fitted; not too big and not too cramped either. 200 was too big to fit inside the ceremony hall, which was our one and only complaint. But, guests who sat outside mostly said their view was okay/clear. *Lily was a superstar. She truly took care of us and was on top of everything. Numerous guests noted that this was the most organized and well-running wedding they had ever been to, which was all due to Lily running the show. I would recommend having Lily as your coordinator 1000x over. *Bang for your buck. This was the first venue we toured, and after hearing the price and what was included there was absolutely question in our mind to book it. I was getting the same quote for ~80-100 guests that I did for 200 here. It was priceless being able to include as many guests while not having to compromise on other factors because they were all included in our package. We also LOVED the grooms suite. So many times the groom is left in the dust but this space was perfect and the guys really enjoyed it. The entire team, Rose and her son, our waitstaff, DJ Larry, and Lily were truly amazing to work with. We would choose the vintage rose for any of our future events!

Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. You are a business owner and have the liberty to do as you please, but you must have needed the money more than I did, so I hope my contributions helped your business. Nonetheless, well done on your communication. If you have a family member with a life-threatening illness or you have a medical condition that may require potential hospitalization, please do not hire Heather as your wedding planner as she will not refund you the deposit because not make exceptions for your situation simply because she does not "work for free." With our venues in mind (our local public park for the ceremony, a patio at our HOA's community center for the reception, and an after party at our home) and only 6 months until our selected wedding date, we went to Leilani Social to ask if they could help us make it happen. Kim was assigned as our coordinator, and took the challenge in stride. Another team member worked with us and Kim as a designer, and soon they helped us develop a cohesive vision and start thinking about the logistics, securing vendors, and making the many dozens of small but critical decisions to make our wedding day feel like us. Kim met with us many times leading up to the wedding date, coordinated all of the vendor communications by email, and always made time to address our questions and concerns--no detail was too small. She helped coach us through selecting rentals and the minute-by-minute plan for the day, and when we needed to pivot last minute to doing DIY flowers to save money, she supported us through that, too! This review would end up the length of a novel if I tried to cover everything, but just to give a couple examples: Kim helped us design custom drink menus for our reception, found alternatives for glassware and decor when we found out we couldn't have glass or open flame at our venue, and made sure we got a refund from our rental company for the few small items that were missing (which we of course, never even knew about because the Leilani Squad just handled it!). The day before the wedding, Kim met with us and our bridal party to run an efficient and helpful rehearsal, exuding competence and kindness while making sure everyone was ready for the next day. On the wedding day, four amazing Leilani Social team members were present to make it all happen. My day as bride started with a sound bath hosted by one of Leilani's wellness vendors (the wonderful Stephanie with Soul Sounds Alchemy) for myself and my bridesmaids. To be completely honest, I was a bit skeptical at first (especially since it meant we'd have to start our day earlier) but it ended up being so lovely and grounding (thank you, Danielle and Stephanie!). My "lady-in-waiting," Lulu, was amazing, and she spent the whole morning with us, keeping us on track time-wise and helping with all of the little things that came up, like steaming the skirt of my dress. Kim worked tirelessly to transform our blank canvas venues into the magical settings we had envisioned together for ceremony and reception. Arriving at the spaces and seeing our vision realized was an amazing experience. But as bride and groom, our hope was to truly be in the moment and enjoy the day, and Kim, Danielle, and the rest of the Leilani Squad made that possible. They took care of everything, arranging our many DIY elements, receiving each of our many vendors, making sure our guests got from one place to another, and responding to the inevitable hiccups so that the two of us could just enjoy each other, our guests, and our beautiful celebration. As a note, Kim was the last to leave the reception site hours after we did, making sure everything was in top shape and transporting extra drinks and supplies to our nearby home for the after party. She was a champion, and went above and beyond for us. It was truly the best day of our lives, and truly wouldn't have been possible without Kim and the Leilani Squad. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!!!! My husband and I got married here in June 2025 and it was such a dream come true. We had the privilege of working with Mimi, who is genuinely one of the most incredible human beings. Before we were even signed clients, she cared about listening to our needs, budget limitations, and our love. We signed on the spot (they book FAST so if you want a Saturday, get in contact sooner rather than later) and for the following months, Mimi happily answered any and all questions we would spam her with. She was detail-oriented, HONEST, and so sweet, as was everyone else on the Estate team. You get to sample everything on the menu at your food tasting, they allow sparkler exit (and have all of the set up for it), and all of the set up and tear down is so seamless. There is seven hours of guest time (3 pm - 10 pm, but last song needs to be at 9:30), on-site bridal and groom suites, you BYOB so it can save you a tonnnn of money, and their food is actually really good (and customizable!). Mimi also hooked us up with our florist so they have connections which can be helpful in your planning process. Photos do not do this venue justice and we cannot stress enough how flexible and wonderful the Estate team is. Ask for Mimi and tell her you love her. From the moment I stepped onto the estate, I knew this was exactly what I had been searching for. I wanted something unique and vintage, and this venue was just that. Tucked away down the most beautiful, greenery-filled tunnel, you're welcomed by a stunning historic home, it truly felt like something out of a dream. After my very first visit, I knew this was where I wanted to get married. It was actually the only venue I toured, and I didn't hesitate to lock it in. The space itself is breathtaking, lush with flowers and greenery, full of charm and character, and with plenty of room for guests to relax and enjoy the celebration. The food was delicious and accommodated all of our dietary needs, and the bartenders were efficient, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing all night. We had our wedding at the Estate in Orange in March and had a really nice event. The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained and we didn't feel the pressure to arrange extra wedding decorations which we felt we would have needed to at some of the other venues we toured in OC. The tunnel leading into the property is stunning, especially when the flowers are blooming during spring time, and provides an amazing backdrop for wedding photos. We worked with Mimi through the planning process. Mimi helped answer so many of our questions and helped arrange several requests we made that helped keep our wedding day smooth and organized and benefit the comfort of our guests and family. Mimi was really easy to work with and we always felt like we were in good hands throughout the process, rehearsal, and wedding day. On the wedding day, another member of the team, Exy, consistently checked up on us and worked with our DJ and day-of coordinator so we didn't have to worry about the logistics of the wedding and could thoroughly enjoy the moment. Our Day of Coordinator, Sarah, was on top of her game. From the moment we met her and we did the final layout walkthrough with her, we knew we were in good hands. Because of her, we were able to enjoy our big day knowing that whatever we needed she had under control. We did not lift one finger at all. We just had to focus on having a good time. The entire white house staff were all very professional as well. They took care of cleaning up around the venue beforehand, setting up, and cleaning up afterwards. Anything we needed, they were all on top of right away. The food was also very delicious. We've gotten all sorts of positive feedback from guests that they loved the food. We did the short rib, mashed potatoes, shrimp, and fettuccini alfredo, which all were a big hit. During the dinner service, the DJ kept the vibes going. He kept this on through the rest of the night as well, keeping a close eye on the dance floor and mixing it up to keep the energy flowing. No one wants to read a negative wedding venue review, and overall, our wedding day was wonderful. I…read moreunderstand that we were a difficult couple, especially due to all the restrictions with COVID guidelines. But I was hoping for a little more than we got, especially from the staff. The venue itself is beautiful. I knew as soon as we walked in that my (then) fiancee would love the place and that we were done looking at venues. The high ceilings, chandeliers, brick and hardwood... the whole aesthetic was amazing. The catering staff (the catering company owns the venue, so if you want to get married at The Estate, you have to hire Jay's Catering) was really good, and they worked with us to individually package to-go meals for our guests since we couldn't in good conscience have all of our guests eating together. Now for the difficulties. As I said before, our wedding was during COVID-19, so we dealt with a number of restrictions. We were also a difficult couple to deal with because we had to keep changing plans as the government placed greater restrictions and/or eased restrictions. We needed to be talking to the venue and catering coordinators quite a bit, as we increased and decreased guest counts and talked through all the different precautions that needed to be made. Toward the beginning of our working with them, both coordinators (Jeanne and Sierra) were very communicative and prompt, but as time wore on (and our wedding day grew closer) we were having more and more difficulty getting a hold of them. There was a point fairly early on where we realized that if I (the groom) called or emailed, I would get a terse, sometimes unhelpful response in a day or three. However, if my fiancee (the bride) called or emailed, she would get a prompt response that answered all of her questions thoroughly. As a groom who wanted to be involved in our wedding process, it was particularly irritating to be sidelined like this. The sound system wasn't what I was expecting. I help out from time to time with audio at church, so I'm used to working with venue sound systems. The Estate's sound system was set up more like a home theater. There were a few inputs, but everything was running through a central receiver rather than through a sound board. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem, but since it was COVID season, we were livestreaming the ceremony. Their system was incapable of handling that complication, so we ended up paying the livestream company an additional fee to bring in their own sound equipment so that we could have sound for both the in person attendees as well as the livestream viewers. There's a small parking lot in the back that is shared by some nearby vendors, and we were told that we'd have the whole lot (about 35 spaces) for our guests to use. When we arrived on the morning of our wedding, we were told that we were able to use about 8 spaces because the venue coordinator hadn't reserved the parking lot. We were also supposed to have a curtain that divided the main room so that the bride wouldn't be seen too early. That curtain was nowhere to be seen. After a lot of running around and numerous phone calls, our wedding coordinator discovered that the curtain had been used at a different venue the previous day (the catering company owns multiple venues) and wasn't returned. Our coordinator was able to find a spare curtain that was much smaller, but got the job done, but the whole situation left us feeling rather disappointed. So all in all, we were happy with the way things ended up looking, but there were several little things that added up to a large amount of unnecessary frustration.

They broke down the wall that separated two rooms. So now there is a large dance floor. We got it for 250 people so that was nice. Here's where it gets interesting. If more people come....you need to pay for extra tables.... 140 each....we got 5 more. Then they started charging at the door like if it was a damn club(should of got my cut). Then they stopped letting people in even when people were leaving. Some people get out of work late you know and their responds will be "and" Just so you know. She asked us questions we hadn't even thought of! She was patient and explained everything to us. She didn't hide any charges and was very open and honest about pricing and about what, exactly, comes with the charges. Customer service aside, the place is AMAZING!!!!! It is a historical building and you get a vibe when you walk in that just relaxes you and takes you back to a more relaxed, classy time. We can not wait to see how it all comes together... We booked the hall for our son's wedding shower in May 2019. The event hosted about 50 guests. The…read morefacility was partitioned into three main, connected spaces: the main hall, the lobby, and the kitchen. Main hall. The main hall is a large room with a sturdy wood floor (perfect for dancing), very high ceiling (maybe 20 feet), abundant chandeliers for lighting, a small stage, and cushioned seating along the sides. The room was equipped with an amplified audio system that boomed music from our mobile devices - attached using a mini-jack. We also used a wireless hand-held microphone that was great for communicating to our noisy guests across such a large space. We set up eight tables for our guests and two tables for food, and still had lots of free open space for moving around. Lobby. The lobby is attached to the main hall through two large doors at the back of the hall. It is carpeted, spacious and proved to be a welcoming space for our arriving guests. The lobby is equipped with a bar made out of substantial hardwood and was an attractive spot for guests lean against and fill up on beer, wine and soft drinks. The hired bartender had plenty of room to store his supplies of drinks, cups, tapper, and ice. Yea, the lobby had a nice feel. And because of this, I would recommend that your pre-meal hors d'oeuvres and snacks be placed in the lobby, and not in the main hall. Restrooms. Very clean and spacious Men's and Women's restrooms are attached to the lobby. Kitchen. The kitchen is across a corridor at the corner of the front of the hall. This short corridor basically is the landing for the back entrance to the facility. Stairs and elevator dump onto the corridor and, voila, there is the kitchen too. The kitchen isn't large. It's about the size the kitchen in your house. Maybe a bit smaller. It is equipped with lots of counter space for conducting food operations. There is a standard refrigerator, and sink. The small size of the kitchen was the only "not great" feature of the facility. Still, all food-related operations proceeded without a hitch. Loading and unloading. There is a "loading Zone" (yellow curb) directly adjacent to the back entrance of the building. Up to two vehicles can park there. This was very convenient for loading/unloading gear, food, and drinks. The path to the hall from the loading zone is very direct - from the loading zone, enter the building, then the stairs and the elevator are right there. Go to the second floor and land just outside the kitchen. Parking. It is free to park in lots near the facility. This hall is located in a spot in Fullerton that is very popular for nightlife activities. There is a bunch of clubs, restaurants, and pubs in the immediate vicinity. As a result, we found that getting a parking spot close to the hall... well it didn't happen. So we found parking easily enough in the nearby city parking structure (free), and in the lot near the train station (free). Since the parking lots and parking structure are very well lit at night, and since there was bubbly activity of people out for the evening, we always felt safe as we walked to our car late at night. Train station. One additional item to consider. The hall is located across the parking lot from the Fullerton train station. Depending on the timing of your event, your guests might want to consider riding the Amtrak or the Metrolink to your event. But remember to confirm train schedules because weekend schedules are different from weekday schedules. Finally, we found this hall to be a classy, attractive and feature-filled venue that supported all our activities, including socializing, dining, program presentation, music, and dancing. Logistics were easily supported by the adjacent loading zone, stairs, elevator and kitchen. We would definitely book this facility again if we had the need. In the meantime, I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a spacious facility to host your important social gatherings.

I loved that you get a planning binder and a portal login to help you stay on track and organized for your wedding because let's be honest, we're usually already tired from spending all of our mental energy on work, household chores, errands, hanging out with friends, etc etc. so having this laid out for you was very helpful. You have about three or four check ins to help you get ready for the big day and it truly made all the difference. I had my meetings with AK and she asked questions that I hadn't even thought about! There are so many things that go into a wedding, all the little details we overlook, so it really helped to have someone who has experience to help walk us through everything and give advice. She really added to the positive experience and I'm so sad I won't get to meet with her anymore! Thank you AK! There are so many things that are included in the all inclusive package, it took so much stress off of us! Friends and family would always ask how wedding planning was going and I think 3 or 4 months in, we said everything was basically done, we just needed to meet with our dj. Some things I really loved about the staff here is that they helped set up any decor that you drop off on rehearsal day. Shout out to our coordinator that day, Sienna! We didn't have a flower girl, so she scattered our fresh petals along the aisle before the ceremony. She was super attentive and had such great energy the entire day. Definitely something that you'd want on your wedding day! Thank you Sienna! It was such a joy having you there for our big day! The florist was also great from ocflowers, we met with them once and they nailed the centerpieces. It was exactly what we wanted and it lasted a whole week already! Some are slightly wilted, but the roses and greenery are still looking freeeeshhhhh! The cake was also SO delicious from all about the cake. I don't actually like wedding cakes, but I was blown away with the flavors for ours! Our first layer was an amaretto chocolate ganache and raspberry filling and the second layer with tiramisu. I believe we also get a free mini wedding anniversary cake for our one year as well. So excited for that! Our guests were so impressed with the appetizers for cocktail hour. The crab cakes were the clear winner, but everything else was just as tasty. The best part about all of this was when my husband and I got into our bridal suite, after post ceremony photos, they had a plate of appetizers for us on the table because they knew we would miss cocktail hour and wanted us to be able to enjoy some of the things we picked out and our signature drinks . The reception was just as amazing. Everyone raved about the 8 assorted salads and the prime rib upgrade is a MUST!!! Sienna is the best, she made sure we sat down to eat and was so patient with us! My husband and I were overstimulated so we didn't actually stomach too much of the food, but when we got home that night, we realized that our banquet captain, Seth, had packed us both to-go boxes of the dinner we missed, along with our cake slices and some desserts. Literally that was the best gift! Thank you so much Seth! It's not often that people hear "the wedding was perfect" but this truly was one of those days where I couldn't have imagined it going any better. A big big thank you to everyone who helped us make our wedding an unforgettable experience! I'll definitely look into renewing my vows here!! Thank you again AK, Sienna and Seth!
