    We had our wedding here on Saturday This place is amazing, the price is sooo right, the food was delicious, the service was over the top. The Garden Room makes it so easy for you, they have everything you need and if you want to make it our own and add special touches, that's fine. They kept the night moving, they catered to everything we needed. Their staff, they hire the sweetest people. Not only were they amazing to me and my husband but they were soo sweet to our guests. We had so many people stop to tell us how wonderful everyone was. Special thank you to Josie and her assistant, I'm so sorry I'm terrible with names. The security guard who was so much more, thank you Jack for helping me with all the containers and helping to set things up. And the sweetest lady who was with you, I'm so sorry I forgot your name. You two helped me so much and I truly appreciated it. If your looking for a venue that has it all, (the chapel, bar, reception, cocktail area, outside gazebo, patio) and makes the process soo easy on you, check out the Garden Room. They do not disappoint.

    I had my wedding here at the garden grove location and the staff did the most excellent job making sure that I have a truly unforgettable wedding! They were patient, responsive with text messages , trustworthy, and had such positive energy to the point where I felt like I knew them before lol! Shout out to Kim, Josie, and Mary for being such great wedding coordinators! They took great care of me as a bride and I would recommend anyone doing their wedding, birthday, or anniversary at this venue. My wedding day went by very smoothly! Beautiful outside gazebo, classy vintage inside chapel and reception room! However I did get mixed reviews on the food, some people liked it, some people said the salmon and chicken were a bit dry. Overall I would give the venue a solid 8/10!

    This event location has just the right amount of space for a small gathering of a couple hundred guests. There is a good sized reception area with dance floor, a gazebo outside for photos, and for weddings it has a small area inside for the ceremony. There's a bar, lots of chandeliers, and some separate little sitting areas by the main entrance. The parking could be better though. Although it is nice to have an awning at the entrance doors, making it an easy and covered drop off. If you're looking for a decent but small event spot in the area, this is a great choice.

    Overdue Review, But Well Deserved! I'm finally writing this review because this venue and its team truly deserve it! From the moment I first inquired about venue availability to receiving a thoughtful thank-you card after the event, everything was smooth, professional, and simply delightful. Every single staff member who communicated with me, whether via email or phone, was incredibly helpful and responsive. I was able to do a walkthrough and discuss the pricing details with ease. Kim and Josie went above and beyond in assisting me with options to meet the minimum cost. Communication is absolutely key when planning an event, and these ladies nailed it--I never had to chase anyone for updates. If it wasn't a phone call, it was an email, and it always came on time. The venue itself was stunning, especially during the holidays. They gave us an hour before the event for setup, which was perfect since the holiday decorations were already in place. The atmosphere felt like a cozy, traditional Christmas with forest greens, Santa figures, beautiful lights, and Christmas trees everywhere. I brought my own centerpieces, which made setup super easy. I also highly recommend 8bit Photobooth--he's a previous vendor of the venue, and his professionalism and communication were on point as well. I'll leave a separate review for him, but definitely check him out! As for the food, it was incredible. There was so much to choose from, and the presentation was perfect. The mushroom appetizers were a standout--I am still dreaming about them! Jack, the security detail, was fantastic, and along with Kim (the event captain), I was able to fully enjoy the party without worrying about a thing. I've received rave reviews from my colleagues about how amazing and enjoyable the company party was. It was definitely a hit! A few details about the venue: It's primarily designed for weddings, with a beautiful chapel at the entrance, a bar right next to the banquet hall, and an upstairs area where the bride and bridesmaids can get ready. There's also a lovely staircase leading down to the banquet hall. The venue has plenty of parking, and there's an outdoor fire pit with cozy chairs, perfect for chilly nights. The price point for weekday events is very reasonable, so I highly recommend considering a weekday party here if you're on a budget. I can't gatekeep such an incredible venue--I'm so glad I found it, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Definitely a five-star experience all around! We will be back!

    Kim and Josie were the absolute best!! Recently celebrated our moms 80th birthday at the Garden Grove location! Just beautiful! Pictures on the website does not come close to detailing the actual beauty and elegance of this place! The staff and security teams were super friendly and on time with each section of our program! I highly recommend this venue if you don't want to worry about set up or breakdown. Special thanks to Kim and Josie for taking good care of us!!

Having the ceremony, bar, and reception all in one place made everything so easy and seamless. The gazebo and staircase were stunning. I loved every detail.     Thank you so much to Garden Room for making our wedding day absolutely wonderful! The entire team: Lisa, Kim, Josie, and Jack, just to name a few of the great people we had the privilege to interact with, were friendly, understanding, and professional. Lisa is the owner, and she's created such a great team culture; it really comes out in everything they do. Kim and Josie are venue coordinators, and they were responsive and knowledgeable: communicating what the venue could and could not do, organizing logistics, and helping to make our vision come to life. Jack is the head of security, and yet also found time to check on us, the bride and groom, helping us with coffee and whatever we needed. All of them were helping out the day of, adjusting even the smallest details, and helping everything flow smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful and has many key features that were decision-makers for us since we had guests with handicap accessibility issues. The location is great; the venue has a spacious parking lot; and the reception area is a quick walk from the ceremony with a bar area in between, and all indoors. Garden Room did the setup and cleanup, cocktail hour appetizers and reception dinner, cake, etc., which helped simplify not only planning, but also execution the day of. There are two staircases for the bride and then the wedding party to descend from; so the upstairs area is a nice quiet space for the bride and bridesmaids, etc. to get ready. We did not have a photo booth because many walls inside are photo-worthy on their own. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and dinner entrees a lot. Chef Tony and his team were amazing and served our guests well, especially to accommodate people with food allergies. Last but not least (honestly, we had no least here!) there is a gorgeous gazebo outside. We were able to take pictures pre-ceremony with daylight, and during reception with the nighttime lights!     Just wanted to add a few more photos because of how beautiful this venue is. Absolutely worth it.

    I recently celebrated a Quinceañera at this venue. The Customer and coordinating team was easy to communicate with. Josie helped me through the entire process, even the day of the event. Josie was amazing to work with. Jack, the security was very professional and kept everything in order. My guest were very pleased with how good the food was. I highly recommend this venue.

    my wife and i were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary,so we chose the garden room,my daughter had her wedding and reception there in 2006 and it was handled perfect at that time,so no question or hesitation to have our celebration there also.just wanted to say the staff at the garden room(lisa,kim,josie),robert(security)and the other people that work there, are top notch people,they handled everything above and beyond what is to be expected.the planning from beginning to end was flawless. the decorations,the food(thanks to tony and his staff)was perfect,all of our guest raved about the food,from appetizers,main course was great.they all made our special occasion perfect and with out any problems.all i say is this the best place to have any special event you need,you will not regret it. thank you, william & cynthia girard

    Absolutely loved this place. My wedding was definitely chaotic throughout the day and this venue had everything under control once we stepped in there. Every meeting with them was extremely easy and super accommodating considering we booked our wedding with only a few months to go before the big day. We got the staircase and bridal suite added for our use and it made a huge difference. My bridal party and I were able to relax for some time before having to join everyone downstairs. The staircase made our entrances a lot more fun and added an effect to when it was time to join everyone else. Josie kept checking up on us during the night to make sure we had everything we needed. She was so sweet and charismatic that anytime something was going wrong that night, talking to her made me feel so much better. Everyone on staff that night was absolutely amazing!

    My daughter and her NOW husband tied the knot on March 24.2024 at this lovely venue. My husband and I said our I DO's at that very same place 15 years ago... Erica and John where the coordinators for the event and let me say they where amazing they ran everything by us and made sure everything ran smoothly, from the entrance of the bride and groom to the father/daughter dance. I could have not been more pleased with it you made my gorgeous daughter's day just magical. John we will always remember your name everyone likes you lol. So to the team that made the day amazing I appreciate it you never know I have another daughter lol.. maybe will be back

Initially, my wife and I didn't believe we would be able to locate a wedding venue to move forward with our vision for an intimate and whimsical wedding aesthetic. So much so that we were a hair trigger away from eloping. Thankfully, as a final measure, we decided to create a checklist of required items that a wedding venue had to have for us to consider moving forward with a wedding including but not limited to; 1) an organic set of barebones / overall aesthetic that would pair well with a playful and lighthearted whimsical evening themed wedding aesthetic that in no way resembled the typical cookie cutter wedding 2) efficiently organized with strong vendor relations and/or recommendations, and 3) cost effective in the context of a smaller guest list of about 70. From the thoughtfully salvaged bricks from a to-be torn down structure in Europe that made up the archways of the reception area to the beautiful garden area rich with lush plants flowers nestled cozily between the ceremony and reception areas, the Chapel of Orange had checked off every box we had without us having to compromise. The well oiled machine that was Melissa and Cheryl far fostered a positive wedding planning experience as they handled EVERYTHING in such an unflappable manner. In addition to coordinating and scheduling design appointments, Melissa coordinated the vendors running their part correctly from the florist, to the videographer, to the Photo Booth, to the DJ, to the caterer, to the cake designer, and all the way down the list to the highly talented photographer Ashley Paige. Melissa also gave us a month by month wedding checklist to follow along to at the very start which made the ongoing planning process easy to follow while also simultaneously reducing any wedding related anxiety stemming from the feeling that we had forgotten some important detail along the way. Melissa's incredibly consistent and reliable communication as well as clear direction cut any unnecessary internal and external noise that went into the wedding process. Dates for big decisions such as our food tasting, table design, and final rehearsal were planned well in advance, allowing us to do nothing more than be present and direct the final decisions. Additionally, Melissa facilitated for the florist consult date and the DJ online phone meeting to verify lighting and song choices. The day of rehearsal, we dropped off all our supplemental DIY designs for our themed wedding and Melissa handled the rest of set-up. The day of the wedding was smooth like butter; Melissa had... 1) our parking spaces reserved with bright orange cones for us as well members of the wedding party, 2) boutonnieres ready and pinned members of the wedding party as they arrived 3) both the groom and bride's prep rooms staged and ready to go, 4) and all vendors on standby and ready for instruction. I have no doubt that Melissa handled so many more fires behind the scenes as my wife and I didn't have a single hiccup or moment where we had to step away to address a concern. It was marvelous, and the best day of our lives. TLDR: The Chapel of Orange runs like a well cared for and harmonious machine headed by Melissa and Cheryl. At each step of the way, they took the feedback we had the day of our wedding, executed the upper limit of potential we had for our whimsical garden wedding.

We received so many compliments from our family and friends about how beautiful everything was, how delicious the food tasted, and how smoothly the night went, which is a true reflection of Cheryl and her team. Yenmin was absolutely AMAZING! I did not expect to cry at all and the tears were FLOWINGGGGGG. She gave an option to do the ceremony in Spanish for my family and we did not expect that. Very professional and accommodating staff! The second Yenmin began to give the ceremony, I felt as if me and my husband were alone in the room getting ready to step into the next phase of our life. Very professional and fast! We wanted our wedding to be on our anniversary (Veterans day). They can come to you, or you can go to them. Now, we got married during the pandemic so it was very limited to what they can actually offer at their location. We brought in tripods to set up our phones to do a virtual wedding. I had Facebook live and my husband had zoom on his. This allowed all of our friends and family to attend from near and far. We got there at 1030am to set up and sign the documents. Then the ceremony started at 11am and finished at 11:11am! It did not take us 1 hour to get married, took us longer to set up than it did for the whole process lol. The BEST part is they do EVERYTHING that deals with paperwork for you! During covid, that meant everything because I didnt have to worry about going to file at the county, or deal with people. I know my sister-in-law got married at the same place and so did another colleague from work after we did.

I love that you can provide your own catering, we had our family business cater the food for our event and that was nice because no other venues we looked at allowed that. Our wedding coordinator Katie put in so much work for our wedding and we are so grateful for everything she did for us. She gets things done! My best tip for someone looking to book is to be very organized and clear with every item you want if you are planning to bring your own decor, they are great and will get it done! But being organized will make things easier. The venue closes at 10pm, but we were able to book an area 12 minutes away at one of the bars in Downtown Fullerton. We had a good turnout of guests there for the After Party! We got so much compliments on our beautiful wedding and ceremony, and many compliments on the venue. We started planning our July wedding in January 2022, and we wanted to have everything outside so that guests wouldn't worry about masking indoors during the time of Covid. The Griffith House has huge space for everything. The other great thing that others have already mentioned is that, other than table, chair, and bar rentals, you get to choose your own vendors and bring your own alcohol - provided you pay for their bartender and security, of course. You do have to work with (and pay) one of their in-house day-of coordinators from Hutchinson Weddings, but Amy, who we we worked with, was very helpful working through the rentals that we used from the venue, as well as coordinating our outside vendors on the day of the wedding. We really wanted to choose our own caterer and bakeries, to choose wines and beers that we liked, and to bring my own pro audio equipment for the ceremony and music. The Griffith House let us do all that.

During the ceremony, Mitzi spoke beautifully about our relationship--how we balance and complement each other, what we admire about one another, and the moments when we each realized we had found the right person. It was heartfelt and very touching. She has a deep understanding of Jewish traditions and was also happy to incorporate some Catholic elements. Since our guests came from a variety of religious backgrounds, she explained each prayer and tradition during the ceremony so everyone could understand and appreciate their significance. One particularly special moment was when we included the Mi Sheberach prayer for a sick relative. It made the ceremony feel even more personal, and Mitzi sang it so beautifully. Many of our guests commented afterward on how meaningful and lovely the ceremony was. We are so grateful for the care and thoughtfulness that went into making our wedding ceremony so memorable.

From the very beginning, Meg was our point of contact. She was very professional and incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Every question we had was answered quickly and clearly, which made planning so much less stressful. Our lead photographer was Kevin. We met at our engagement shoot where he made us feel completely comfortable (we can be quite awkward!). The engagement photos came out beautiful and people loved our save-the-date photos! The wedding day was super hectic but Kevin was super PRO with handling the chaos. Dan was also great as our second photographer -he is always smiley! They were calm, reassuring, and knew exactly what they were doing. The photos are absolutely stunning, beautiful, light and airy. The lighting, composition, and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. Looking through our gallery felt like reliving the entire day all over again, from the big moments to the small candid ones we didn't even realize were happening. We cannot recommend them enough!

    My son's memorial service was held at Christ Church Unity in April 2023. The event was absolutely…read morebeautiful and memorable. The church rallied many of its parishioners to make the event as special as humanly possible, and it truly was. We also did a Facebook live so that people that couldn't attend the service could watch the service which The church graciously provided a coordinator for this. We had close to 100 people attend and the church accommodated that number perfectly. We had a taco catering in the back area that was beautifully decorated as was the tables in their fellowship hall. Guests were able to eat in a shaded area outside or eat inside fellowship hall, whichever they preferred. The minister Stu gave a wonderful talk at my son Jonathan's service. Stu let me set up everything exactly as I wanted it set up in the church and fellowship hall. They provided quality audiovisual equipment for a memorial video and beautiful music to play for everyone to sing with. I know my son was smiling down from Heaven and was very impressed at how beautiful this perfect little church made his celebration of life service. When it's my time, I would love my service to be performed there!

I was married at this location on August 1, 2015, and they are the PERFECT location for small, intimate wedding. The chapel holds about 80 people comfortably. They offer a great wedding package that includes the wedding coordinator, music, and decorations. For an added fee you can hire their minister or you can bring your own wedding officiant. In addition, they have an onsite kitchen, so for an additional charge, you could also hold your reception on the premises. I love this place for weddings because the chapel is a "real" church. It's not some room made up to look like a wedding site. In addition, the grounds are beautiful. There's a lovely yard and a gazebo in the back. I highly suggest that if you are looking for a low-cost place to hold a smaller wedding that you give Christ Church Unity a call.     Our family recently celebrated our son's HS graduation party at XO Lounge. We had a wonderful…read morebeginning-to-end experience that included incredibly responsive, thorough, and professional communication with Jamie--the main contact in charge of booking, planning, and operational oversight. On the day of the event, Hope, Hai, Lola (bartender) and the remaining staff were unbelievably helpful, accommodating--and integral to our efficient set-up and smooth execution of a successful celebration. XO Lounge is a very posh venue with modern décor. The nightclub vibe and setup provided the core foundation--that minimized decorative needs for our graduation-themed event. Our event hosted approximately 150 guests--that we comfortably housed in the smaller nightclub event area. Despite opting out of seated dining, our area easily accommodated our guests with the use of the booths and lounge-style sofa set-up for central-space seating. We still had surplus space leftover--that was allocated for the dance floor and bar area. The nightclub further opens into an enclosed courtyard--allowing for additional cocktail tables, bar stools, and lounge-roaming for our guests. Our party featured a standard photo-booth setup with an 8-ft props table--as well as a 360-spinning video-booth in the front entryway lobby area (just to the left of entrance). Our 360-video-booth included an inflatable enclosure--that successfully fit in the entryway alcove. Our rented XO Lounge space features a stage with a floor-to-ceiling TV-grid. This large multi-screen TV--along with dozens of TVs lining the entire room-walls--cycled a slideshow of our graduate's photos throughout the evening. XO Lounge further features a full PA system, DJ plug-ins for surround sound (you must provide your own DJ/music/equipment), full nightclub equipment (e.g. spinning disco-ball light machines, fog machines, laser strobing, etc.), full bar & bartender staff, etc. I LOOVED that XO included all the needed tables of various lengths and sizes--with fitted fabric *tablecloths* included. Fabric tablecloths may seem like a minimal feature, but fitted cloth coverings elevate a sophisticated aesthetic while alleviating the patron from the added costs for these supplies. Hope oversaw our function and was so attentive--always offering to help with literally *anything*--to reduce stress for the hosts (I really appreciated that!). The venue was surprisingly affordable--with a nominal outside-catering fee; the staff were professional and delightful; and the party space and outdoor-courtyard areas fit our guests, photo/video-booths, food vendors, Welcome table, Sweets table, and largescale Balloon Arch. XO Lounge features one-stop-shop booking and planning services for all party needs, (i.e. catering, decoration, DJ, photo-booth vendors, etc.)--though we did not partake of these additional offerings. Hosting an event on this scale is stressful (IYKYK), but this venue and staff minimized the stress and streamlined our experience for a fantastic celebration. Our family would definitely book with XO lounge again for future event planning needs--and would highly recommend to our friends, family, and others. Our guests had the BEST time; and we had a GREAT PARTY celebrating our newest grad!

The attention to details, executing on the vision were flawless.- the DJ playing a mixture of hip hop, R&B, and EDM. The microphone for karaoke. The collaboration to bring smashed burger (forgot their name) was well seasoned and juicy, and cooked to order at the club! Wow I can go on and on! But mostly the stress free element needs to be highlighted over and over (as my husband can be a lot to handle, I know that from experience) Core memory! LFG
