We had toured several other locations before visiting, but as soon as we saw the chapel, we immediately knew it was where we wanted to say "I do." The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate our vision by creating a package that met all of our needs and wishes. Our ceremony was beautiful, and although we chose not to hold a reception, we were able to add a cocktail hour to thank our guests for celebrating our special day with us. My husband and I were so overwhelmed with happiness that we couldn't hold back our tears. Initially, my wife and I didn't believe we would be able to locate a wedding venue to move forward with our vision for an intimate and whimsical wedding aesthetic. So much so that we were a hair trigger away from eloping. Thankfully, as a final measure, we decided to create a checklist of required items that a wedding venue had to have for us to consider moving forward with a wedding including but not limited to; 1) an organic set of barebones / overall aesthetic that would pair well with a playful and lighthearted whimsical evening themed wedding aesthetic that in no way resembled the typical cookie cutter wedding 2) efficiently organized with strong vendor relations and/or recommendations, and 3) cost effective in the context of a smaller guest list of about 70. From the thoughtfully salvaged bricks from a to-be torn down structure in Europe that made up the archways of the reception area to the beautiful garden area rich with lush plants flowers nestled cozily between the ceremony and reception areas, the Chapel of Orange had checked off every box we had without us having to compromise. The well oiled machine that was Melissa and Cheryl far fostered a positive wedding planning experience as they handled EVERYTHING in such an unflappable manner. In addition to coordinating and scheduling design appointments, Melissa coordinated the vendors running their part correctly from the florist, to the videographer, to the Photo Booth, to the DJ, to the caterer, to the cake designer, and all the way down the list to the highly talented photographer Ashley Paige. Melissa also gave us a month by month wedding checklist to follow along to at the very start which made the ongoing planning process easy to follow while also simultaneously reducing any wedding related anxiety stemming from the feeling that we had forgotten some important detail along the way. Melissa's incredibly consistent and reliable communication as well as clear direction cut any unnecessary internal and external noise that went into the wedding process. Dates for big decisions such as our food tasting, table design, and final rehearsal were planned well in advance, allowing us to do nothing more than be present and direct the final decisions. Additionally, Melissa facilitated for the florist consult date and the DJ online phone meeting to verify lighting and song choices. The day of rehearsal, we dropped off all our supplemental DIY designs for our themed wedding and Melissa handled the rest of set-up. The day of the wedding was smooth like butter; Melissa had... 1) our parking spaces reserved with bright orange cones for us as well members of the wedding party, 2) boutonnieres ready and pinned members of the wedding party as they arrived 3) both the groom and bride's prep rooms staged and ready to go, 4) and all vendors on standby and ready for instruction. I have no doubt that Melissa handled so many more fires behind the scenes as my wife and I didn't have a single hiccup or moment where we had to step away to address a concern. I had Facebook live and my husband had zoom on his. This allowed all of our friends and family to attend from near and far. We got there at 1030am to set up and sign the documents. Then the ceremony started at 11am and finished at 11:11am! It did not take us 1 hour to get married, took us longer to set up than it did for the whole process lol. The BEST part is they do EVERYTHING that deals with paperwork for you! During covid, that meant everything because I didnt have to worry about going to file at the county, or deal with people. But being organized will make things easier. The venue closes at 10pm, but we were able to book an area 12 minutes away at one of the bars in Downtown Fullerton. The Griffith House has huge space for everything. The other great thing that others have already mentioned is that, other than table, chair, and bar rentals, you get to choose your own vendors and bring your own alcohol - provided you pay for their bartender and security, of course. You do have to work with (and pay) one of their in-house day-of coordinators from Hutchinson Weddings, but Amy, who we we worked with, was very helpful working through the rentals that we used from the venue, as well as coordinating our outside vendors on the day of the wedding. We really wanted to choose our own caterer and bakeries, to choose wines and beers that we liked, and to bring my own pro audio equipment for the ceremony and music. The Griffith House let us do all that.

We also did a Facebook live so that people that couldn't attend the service could watch the service which The church graciously provided a coordinator for this. We had close to 100 people attend and the church accommodated that number perfectly. We had a taco catering in the back area that was beautifully decorated as was the tables in their fellowship hall. Guests were able to eat in a shaded area outside or eat inside fellowship hall, whichever they preferred. The minister Stu gave a wonderful talk at my son Jonathan's service. Stu let me set up everything exactly as I wanted it set up in the church and fellowship hall. They provided quality audiovisual equipment for a memorial video and beautiful music to play for everyone to sing with. I know my son was smiling down from Heaven and was very impressed at how beautiful this perfect little church made his celebration of life service. When it's my time, I would love my service to be performed there!

Our family recently celebrated our son's HS graduation party at XO Lounge. We had a wonderful…read morebeginning-to-end experience that included incredibly responsive, thorough, and professional communication with Jamie--the main contact in charge of booking, planning, and operational oversight. On the day of the event, Hope, Hai, Lola (bartender) and the remaining staff were unbelievably helpful, accommodating--and integral to our efficient set-up and smooth execution of a successful celebration. XO Lounge is a very posh venue with modern décor. The nightclub vibe and setup provided the core foundation--that minimized decorative needs for our graduation-themed event. Our event hosted approximately 150 guests--that we comfortably housed in the smaller nightclub event area. Despite opting out of seated dining, our area easily accommodated our guests with the use of the booths and lounge-style sofa set-up for central-space seating. We still had surplus space leftover--that was allocated for the dance floor and bar area. The nightclub further opens into an enclosed courtyard--allowing for additional cocktail tables, bar stools, and lounge-roaming for our guests. Our party featured a standard photo-booth setup with an 8-ft props table--as well as a 360-spinning video-booth in the front entryway lobby area (just to the left of entrance). Our 360-video-booth included an inflatable enclosure--that successfully fit in the entryway alcove. Our rented XO Lounge space features a stage with a floor-to-ceiling TV-grid. This large multi-screen TV--along with dozens of TVs lining the entire room-walls--cycled a slideshow of our graduate's photos throughout the evening. XO Lounge further features a full PA system, DJ plug-ins for surround sound (you must provide your own DJ/music/equipment), full nightclub equipment (e.g. spinning disco-ball light machines, fog machines, laser strobing, etc.), full bar & bartender staff, etc. I LOOVED that XO included all the needed tables of various lengths and sizes--with fitted fabric *tablecloths* included. Fabric tablecloths may seem like a minimal feature, but fitted cloth coverings elevate a sophisticated aesthetic while alleviating the patron from the added costs for these supplies. Hope oversaw our function and was so attentive--always offering to help with literally *anything*--to reduce stress for the hosts (I really appreciated that!). The venue was surprisingly affordable--with a nominal outside-catering fee; the staff were professional and delightful; and the party space and outdoor-courtyard areas fit our guests, photo/video-booths, food vendors, Welcome table, Sweets table, and largescale Balloon Arch. XO Lounge features one-stop-shop booking and planning services for all party needs, (i.e. catering, decoration, DJ, photo-booth vendors, etc.)--though we did not partake of these additional offerings. Hosting an event on this scale is stressful (IYKYK), but this venue and staff minimized the stress and streamlined our experience for a fantastic celebration. Our family would definitely book with XO lounge again for future event planning needs--and would highly recommend to our friends, family, and others. Our guests had the BEST time; and we had a GREAT PARTY celebrating our newest grad!

From the moment we stepped foot into The Garden Room, we knew we had found the perfect place to exchange our vows. There's no way to give them 0 stars or I would. 3 weeks before my husband and I were suppose to have the wedding of our lives we get news that my husband has a brain tumor. We were suppose to get married jan 4 th of 2015. Understandable Nick and I weren't really up to talking g to anyone after the news, our aunt offered to speak with everyone for us. The first problem the Officiant the garden room suggested was Chris. He was also our dj and we were wanting the photo Booth through him As well. during the first meeting he was a great guy, loved him. Couldn't wait to have him marry us. Told us to sign the contracts and we could always take anything out later, just sign so we had everything for the date [thinking he was on our side] Nope called him the day we found out about my husband's tumor, we wanted hiM. To marry us on the day we found out. it was the 13th of December, we understood he had other plans. But when speaking with him he was more worried about the rest of the money we owed. Went on about this is his bread and butter, making sure he was going to get paid after I told him we will pay him. He still wanted to meet up to make sure he was getting his money. after me telling him my husband has a brain tumor. Not heart was involved at all. Which leaves me to my aunt. She was speaking with him again same thing. States invisible contract if he isn't paid he will not do any services. BUT if she wanted our package she could pay for the rest and she could have it. Which is odd cause for a guy that loves contracts, states in his it's non transferable. so He's just a bunch of lies and no heart. Not even I hope the surgery go well. Now to the venue. The owner will not budge. After all the money we have put into the venue. They will not change the date or gives us anything back. Also will not speak with us personally. We've been speaking with Kim. Which is great, but really? When we got the news my husband said he wanted to see me go down the stairs. The NEUROLOGIST said sorry it's not going to happen. We were so hurt. With death from my husband's brain getting swelled during surgery, Which is a very high risk witness this surgery, it's kinda hard to keep hopes high. But we're being positive as much as we can. It's definitely hard to know your husband is sick and dreams have to wait. Not just wait but be restarted from bottom up because this owner has no heart and doesn't have any sympathy, not even to speak with us herself. I will never suggest this place or anything they deal with. Other than our video guy. He's definitely a sweetheart. Everything else Nope. So if someone gets sick. Do expect anything from these people. Cause they do not care at all! read more

A beautiful location for a wedding. From the beautiful winding oak staircase for the entrance of the bride, to the incrediable stained glass chapel windows and a baby grand piano for music during the ceremony, made my friends ceremony intimate and romantic. The bar was located between the chapel and banquet room, great idea! The flowers I found out were done by their onstaff florist, absolutely breathtaking! The theme was carried out from the bouquets to the centerpieces and all the way through to the cake, all were beautiful! The banquet room featured another grand staircase for their entrance, classey. Food was elegantly served and was delicious. Loved how everything was structured leaving plenty of time for dancing after all the formal events. Recently attended event here as a guest coordinator with Kim. Gorgeous facility walked in was greeted by the staff doors were held open before all guests that we're entering. Bathrooms were clean which is surprising in a facility where you had 300 people that the event never once saw that it was dirty. No wait for the bar was adequately staffed short lines great drinks. DJ could have used a little work but that's no fault of the venue. Had an amazing plated Chicken Florentine all the food came out hot everyone at my table couldn't stop talking about the amazing food and just the wonderful look at the event. Couldn't be happier! I have had three daughters who all have used the Garden Room over the past seven years, two at this facility and one at their other facility in La Habra. Both are beautiful and we were so pleased to hear that our last daughter wanted to get married there too. The quality of the food and service is just excellent and they have not raised their prices in the years we've used them. The value is simply remarkable. Couldn't be happier with this venue! We had our ceremony on the beach but came here for our reception and are so glad we did! Kim and her team made sure the entire event went without a hitch, directing us and our guests flawlessly through the evening. Venue and wedding planning all in one - we had nothing left to worry about beyond centerpiece choice (there are two options provided by GRWC), menu choice, cake flavors (love that the fillings can be mixed and matched, Bride and Groom even made their own tiers and bet on whose flavor would be more popular), and flower options. I want to thank the staff at the Garden Room, my brother Richard passed away March 4, 2024, and was loved by many. We were having a hard time finding a location that would accommodate the amount of people that would attend. Attended a sweet sixteen party here last Saturday night and it was totally amazing. You first walk in and are immediately greeted by the staff holding the door for you. Once you're in, it's simply gorgeous; marble floors, beveled mirrors, grand staircases, ornate bar...on and on. The reception area is large and inviting. There was a photo booth, dessert table and a candy table...yes, candy table! Mexican food for dinner with chips and salsa on the tables and fresh guacamole; delicious. Because of her, we were able to enjoy our big day knowing that whatever we needed she had under control. We did not lift one finger at all. We just had to focus on having a good time. The entire white house staff were all very professional as well. They took care of cleaning up around the venue beforehand, setting up, and cleaning up afterwards. Anything we needed, they were all on top of right away. The food was also very delicious. We've gotten all sorts of positive feedback from guests that they loved the food. We did the short rib, mashed potatoes, shrimp, and fettuccini alfredo, which all were a big hit. During the dinner service, the DJ kept the vibes going. He kept this on through the rest of the night as well, keeping a close eye on the dance floor and mixing it up to keep the energy flowing. I…read moreunderstand that we were a difficult couple, especially due to all the restrictions with COVID guidelines. But I was hoping for a little more than we got, especially from the staff. The venue itself is beautiful. I knew as soon as we walked in that my (then) fiancee would love the place and that we were done looking at venues. The high ceilings, chandeliers, brick and hardwood... the whole aesthetic was amazing. The catering staff (the catering company owns the venue, so if you want to get married at The Estate, you have to hire Jay's Catering) was really good, and they worked with us to individually package to-go meals for our guests since we couldn't in good conscience have all of our guests eating together. Now for the difficulties. As I said before, our wedding was during COVID-19, so we dealt with a number of restrictions. We were also a difficult couple to deal with because we had to keep changing plans as the government placed greater restrictions and/or eased restrictions. We needed to be talking to the venue and catering coordinators quite a bit, as we increased and decreased guest counts and talked through all the different precautions that needed to be made. Toward the beginning of our working with them, both coordinators (Jeanne and Sierra) were very communicative and prompt, but as time wore on (and our wedding day grew closer) we were having more and more difficulty getting a hold of them. There was a point fairly early on where we realized that if I (the groom) called or emailed, I would get a terse, sometimes unhelpful response in a day or three. However, if my fiancee (the bride) called or emailed, she would get a prompt response that answered all of her questions thoroughly. As a groom who wanted to be involved in our wedding process, it was particularly irritating to be sidelined like this. The sound system wasn't what I was expecting. I help out from time to time with audio at church, so I'm used to working with venue sound systems. The Estate's sound system was set up more like a home theater. There were a few inputs, but everything was running through a central receiver rather than through a sound board. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem, but since it was COVID season, we were livestreaming the ceremony. Their system was incapable of handling that complication, so we ended up paying the livestream company an additional fee to bring in their own sound equipment so that we could have sound for both the in person attendees as well as the livestream viewers. There's a small parking lot in the back that is shared by some nearby vendors, and we were told that we'd have the whole lot (about 35 spaces) for our guests to use. When we arrived on the morning of our wedding, we were told that we were able to use about 8 spaces because the venue coordinator hadn't reserved the parking lot. We were also supposed to have a curtain that divided the main room so that the bride wouldn't be seen too early. That curtain was nowhere to be seen. After a lot of running around and numerous phone calls, our wedding coordinator discovered that the curtain had been used at a different venue the previous day (the catering company owns multiple venues) and wasn't returned. Our coordinator was able to find a spare curtain that was much smaller, but got the job done, but the whole situation left us feeling rather disappointed. So all in all, we were happy with the way things ended up looking, but there were several little things that added up to a large amount of unnecessary frustration.

They broke down the wall that separated two rooms. So now there is a large dance floor. We got it for 250 people so that was nice. Here's where it gets interesting. If more people come....you need to pay for extra tables.... 140 each....we got 5 more. Then they started charging at the door like if it was a damn club(should of got my cut). Then they stopped letting people in even when people were leaving. Some people get out of work late you know and their responds will be "and" Just so you know.
