They found water in places I wouldn't even know to look. They have specialized equipment to help locate all the wet building materials. They also do in house Reconstruction which is nice. Definitely glad I called Home Damage Medics!

I had a tight deadline for the work I needed to get done and they told me they would be able to complete the work in time which is why I went with them. However, after they completed the mitigation, the owner told me they would no longer be able to do the reconstruction portion of the job because they took other jobs. They left me with a hole in the ceiling where my cats could get into it leaving me to scramble to find another company to help me in time. Rumor has it the owner, Luis, also got offended when I asked him to be more careful when dropping dry wall from the ceiling because I was afraid it would scratch or damage my floors and that's also why they would not complete the restoration job. They didn't want to do a job where the homeowner was 'looking so closely or worried about their other property being damaged'. This is a clear indicator the owner does not have confidence in the quality of his work and is in fact afraid he would damage something so he'd rather back out from the job than 'have an owner looking closely'. I definitely dodged a bullet not getting reconstruction work from them after all. While Luis's partner, Spencer, who did the mitigation work, did a really good job and I would totally hire him again, the owner is quite young and clearly has not yet learned the basics of customer service so I'd recommend going with another company that is more established and has more experience under their belt, especially when it comes to customer service.

After we ripped up the entire carpeted space and treated it--I wanted info from a professional to see if there was anything else that we needed to do before getting the affected slab ground down and polished. I spoke with several companies who were unhelpful over the phone or charging ridiculous fees just to come out and provide an estimate. Mathew, the owner of Puget Sound Water Rescue was timely in his responsiveness over the Yelp App (on a Sunday afternoon) and ultimately provided us the perspective and information that we needed to determine whether or not professional remediation services were warranted at this point. Ultimately we determined with his help that they were not. Despite the fact that we did not end up hiring (anyone), his knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness were 5 stars worthy. Highly recommend talking to and/or Mathew for your remediation needs!

So, when my portable AC leaked onto my flooring last night, I knew who I was going to contact. I called when they opened, and found out that he was booked for the next week. I decided to send him a message to see if there was a company he would recommend to me. He actually responded immediately and said that he'd be able to squeeze me in! You have no idea how grateful I was to hear that. He gave me two time options, and called me when he was on the way. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. I've had quite a few companies do various types of jobs for me, and there are only two who I'd recommend. Mathew with Puget Sound Water Rescue is one of them!

First, my work started with Tom, a great gentleman who showed up right on time, thoroughly inspected the house, gave me all the details, and walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. He made sure I understood every step and worked hard to get me the best deal possible. His professionalism set the tone for the entire project. We then had two days of work scheduled. Both project managers, Eric and Greg, were wonderful people. They were attentive, communicative, and did their absolute best to keep everything running smoothly. I really appreciate how well they coordinated the work. The crew overall did a fantastic job -- they worked clean, were respectful of our home and space, and showed up on time every single day. You can tell they take pride in what they do. What truly sets Super Attic Solutions apart is their sense of ownership and level of commitment. They didn't just finish the job and walk away -- they followed up not once, but twice to make sure everything was top notch and that I was fully satisfied. That level of dedication and care is rare to find. You can tell this is a company that genuinely stands behind their work and treats every customer like they matter. For an $8,000 investment, that kind of commitment gives you real peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend Super Attic Solutions and will be using them again in the future. Five stars well deserved.

Having been through insurance-related water damage before, I knew I needed a construction company I could truly trust. Boulder Peak was the sixth company I interviewed--and the last. The moment Moses explained that they work directly with insurance companies, I was sold. He came prepared with an incredibly detailed estimate using the same software insurance adjusters use and fought hard on our behalf, from securing two coats of paint when insurance wanted to cover only one, to submitting change orders to bring our electrical up to code. Moses and Helaina were also fantastic design partners. They guided us through every decision, created multiple 3D renderings, and were endlessly patient when we changed our minds (more than once!). They even designed custom shower glass to accommodate our upgraded bench. The crew's workmanship was pristine--and that's saying a lot because I'm very particular. Today, we couldn't be happier with our new bathroom. I would 100% recommend Boulder Peak to anyone needing construction work, insurance-related or otherwise.

They took the time to investigate the problem thoroughly. Moses, the owner, brought in a certified structural engineer and identified that the garage hadn't been built to code, which contributed to the damage. They explained the scope of work clearly, including the need to rebuild the front of the garage and the deck above it to resolve both the structural and waterproofing issues. While their estimate wasn't the lowest, they were transparent about pricing and focused on doing the job properly rather than just a quick patch. Mauro, who led the on-site work, was methodical and took real pride in his craftsmanship. The crew stayed focused on our project instead of jumping between jobs, and they communicated well, always checking in about schedules and making sure things worked on our end. The repaired garage looks brand new. More importantly, it's solid and dry even after several rains. When some old wall stains resurfaced, they promptly returned to confirm there were no leaks, and repainted the area just to keep things perfect. We've already recommended this company to a friend and plan to work with them again next year. Moses, Helaina, Mauro, and the whole team were professional, communicative, and reliable from start to finish.

The technician took the time to inspect everything carefully and explained that, in his opinion, a full professional decontamination was not necessary for my situation. Rather than trying to sell me an expensive service, he gave me practical options, including a simple bleach-and-water cleaning if I wanted extra peace of mind, and even said that if it were his own garage, he probably wouldn't do anything further. I had received another estimate that was nearly $4,000 for essentially the same situation, so I really appreciated the straightforward advice and the fact that they put integrity ahead of making a sale. It's rare to find a company that is willing to tell a customer that they don't need to spend money. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again or recommend them to others looking for an honest restoration company.

After getting multiple quotes from highly-rated mitigation/remediation companies, we were increasingly uncomfortable with the pressure tactics and astronomical bids. Then a friend recommended 24/7 Flood & Fire. Jason, the owner, answered the phone on a Saturday and immediately walked us through their process. No pressure, no complicated agreements, no pages of fine print. Remington, the same project manager who had worked with our friend, came to our house that evening. After a thorough inspection, he identified the sources of moisture and recommended a conservative approach focused only on what he felt was actually necessary. Best of all, his bid was **5x cheaper** than the alternatives we'd received. Throughout the remediation, Remington was incredibly communicative, explaining his findings and the process every step of the way. When it came time to file an insurance claim, he provided a detailed report that made the process with our adjuster remarkably smooth. We sincerely hope we never have another flood or moisture issue, but if we do, 24/7 Fire and Water will be our first call. Highly recommend. -------------------- August 2026 Despite our best efforts not to need 24/7 again, another issue popped up, thankfully a small one that we caught early thanks to a water leak sensor (highly recommend!). It happened on a Friday night after 9pm, so we messaged our 24/7 team for guidance on what to do. Instead, Remington called us and showed up within half an hour, equipment in hand, ready to help deal with it.

They abandoned the project half way through, we believe because of the way they were handling their sub contractors. This was hands down the worst business experience we have ever had in the Washington area. The employees lacked basic business etiquette, and the Project Manager and Finance Manager were incredibly rude to both me and my wife. Key Issues: Mis-diagnosed the issue big time even after we repeated telling them the root cause and area of the problem. We feel they intentionally did that to increase the scope of the work. They tore down upstairs bathroom completely without even properly checking the root cause. There were no issues with the upstairs bathroom. They did not tear down the actual place where it was leaking, this was unbelievable to us. Drove us completely nuts. Abandonment: They left the job halfway through and never bothered to check back with us, failing to complete the work they promised. Hostile Behavior: Instead of resolving the incomplete work, they threatened us and sent a lien letter to our house. This aggressive approach is unacceptable. Project Manager yelling and screaming on the calls with all filthy, profanity and inappropriate words. Staff Turnover: They fired more than three employees who had been dealing with us very nicely, which further disrupted the project. Subcontractor Issues: Even the subcontractors they hired seemed unhappy and difficult to work with. Advice: Do not trust these guys with any big jobs. If you value your peace of mind and want a project actually finished, look elsewhere. I have the pictures and videos of our project to prove their Incompetency and also the threatening letter they sent us Hope you guys understand. I was all ready to file a case BBB. I will soon post the photos of the sloppy job they did.
