After trying everything to clear the plug in our shower drain ourselves for a month we finally decided to call a plumber. True Quality Plumbing was the one to answer our call. Mike came out tried to clear the plug then went under the house to check things out and came back the next morning to do some work. He replaced the trap, which had a green hot wheels car stuck in it, and also the shower drain so that no more toys would go down the drain. He got the job done in no time and for a reasonable price, especially for having to go underneath the mobile home in this heat. We had a leak within one of our walls as well as a very unusual cold water feed issue going up to our master bath. I came across this company on a Facebook group after searching for a plumber. Gilbert came out and gave me a quote to get the work done. Gilbert and his team came out on the agreed upon time today and took care of the leak in my wall as well as the water issue going to my master bath that we have been fighting for two years. True Quality Plumbing was the third plumbers I had at my home. My toilet was plugged and overflowing. The company I called first sent a young man to my home and he used a snake to clean out the toilet. Within 6 minutes he was gone. He was nice. Three days later it overflowed again. I called the same company and they sent two men to my home see why it was still overflowing. They came out of the bathroom and told me I needed a new toilet. I asked them how much a new toilet and installation would cost me. They said,"1600 dollars." I said, Are you kidding? They then said if you buy the toilet it would only cost you 600 dollars. I called my daughter to see if she knew a plumber and she told me about a business next to her barber and beauty shop. She called True Quality Plumbing and they called me and gave me an appointment. They were professional, kind and knew what they were doing. Their price was unbelievable meaning I couldn't believe it! I am really happy with my new toilet. Came home from a weekend trip to see a leak coming from near the water meter. City came out and leak was located on our side of the box. Called another plumber who said they would be here by noon. No call, no show. At 1:30 I called True Quality Plumbing and Gilbert arrived just before 3. Knocked out my repair by 4:30 in this 100+ degree heat, that included his run to Home Depot for some parts. I thought his price was very reasonable. Like the saying goes, good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good. Finding a good tradesman nowadays is hard, not EZ. Gilbert is the best. I was referred to Gilbert by another plumber who wanted the BIG job. Gilbert came on a Saturday to quote me a price on a reroute because I had a slab leak in the restroom. He came the very next day at 8 am. It's amazing how he was showing me what he was doing and letting me know why. He took the time to educate me. 10/10/2022 Gilbert is the plumber that OTHER plumbers will refer you to when they can't do the job. He is respected by his colleagues and adored by his customers. I recently bought a mobile home for my disabled parents. My mom had just got total hip replacement surgery and had fallen in the old nasty bathtub that came with the house. True Quality Plumbing converted the bath to a shower but went ABOVE & BEYOND! I had asked for the cheapest plain white walls. I didn't care about the look; I just needed it to be functional. The walls were specially ordered (due to sizing) from Home Depot. They arrived damaged. Instead of re-ordering Gilbert wanted to ensure the shower was completed by the time my mom returned from the hospital. He decided to TILE the shower instead at no additional cost. He would say, "I want to take care of you and your family," and "I want to make sure it's done correctly." He stuck with the original quote and that is saying something! He also made sure the walls were re-enforced and provided extra stability to the floor because the mobile home was not in good condition. Not only did he make the shower BEAUTIFUL, but he also put in handicap rails to make sure it was functional and safe. It has been tough to find a reasonable, HONEST contractor. If you hire True Quality Plumbing, you can rest assured they will provide quality work and treat you like family. One more example of going above and beyond. My senile father ran the water in the shower before it set...True Quality Plumbing was nice enough to come back and fix my father's mistake. Thank you so much for everything. Update: 11/15/2022 I had recently loved the work True Quality Plumbing did on a shower installation (see that review for details). My parents called me upset because both toilets were clogged, and sewer was coming up from the shower. I called True Quality Plumbing and although they were not in the area they went above and beyond to get to my parents' house as soon as possible to fix the issue. Turns out my mom was using "flushable" wipes that are not very flushable. I feel so fortunate to have found a plumber who truly cares and will be there for my family in case of an emergencies. These guys saved the day, I have 2 little girls and a wife and our tub and shower were backed up and also no toilet, I called at 7:30 am and they were here within the hour. They gave me a reasonable quote to have the pipes jetted. Being the machine is so large they had to go get it and were back in 20 minutes, 10 minutes later they were complete and my old 1962 pipes have never worked better.
